We stayed at Stovall's on our last Disneyland trip and loved it. The hot breakfast was a life saver especially when we hit day 4 of going to parks and were tired and dragging our feet. One thing that people might not be aware of is that there is an ART bus stop right outside that goes right to Disney. At the time we went it was about $5 per person per day and you could come and go as many times as needed. They also sold the passes in the lobby. This may have changed in price and if they sell them still as it's been a few years, but I would imagine the bus stop is still there and running multiple times a day.
Having that included breakfast is such a money saver. We love starting off our day with a hot breakfast and it save so much money compared to purchasing breakfast at the park. ART is great option and it is fairly inexpensive if you like to pop in and out of the parks. We used ART this last week and it is 6 dollars per adult now, so it is still relatively inexpensive. The ART stop is still locate in front of Stovall's. The better news, the line is not an on-demand line during the day. This last week, we had to use an on-demand service with ART, it is similar to Uber or Lyft. Thank you so much for watching.

I have never been to a hotel that has their grab and go snack options set up for self checkout. That is a great idea. We were just in a hotel last week and had to wait about ten minutes for the person at the desk to finish checking people in before we could "grab and go." It wasn't the end of the world... but having self checkout would have saved us ten minutes at a time when we were tired and just wanted to get back to our room. Everything looked nice enough here. But if I was going to walk back and forth to the parks, I would probably want to stay somewhere a little bit closer. Thanks for sharing your experience here with us!

We were not only able to extend our trip, we're now doing Sunday, 5/28 - Sunday, 6/4 ... but the whole family is now coming! We would love to meet you guys if it works out! We have a Reservation at Disneyland on Saturday, 6/3!
I see that the Grand Cali now has that security gate so cutting through in the morning wouldn’t be possible any longer but what about using the Grand Cali to exit the park when the park closes. Any ideas if that at least might be possible?
@@slamgybe1 we have been able to exit the grand Californian without issue. You only need a key to enter. We have also heard you can exit the Pixar Place dedicated entrance without issue as well, but have not tried that ourselves yet. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching ☺️

Where we stay depends on our budget for the trip. We always try to stay as close as possible to the parks. Sometimes, rates are too expensive and we have to look further out. When our kids were stroller age, we didn’t want to fuss with a stroller on a shuttle. So we would try to stay as close as possible so we could walk. We would move our dates around until we could find a time we could afford. Now that our kids are teenagers, we don’t mind staying further out if that’s what fits in our budget for the trip. I hope that helps!
Been staying at the this hotels for the past 5 Disneyland trips! Never had a problem! Had working shower and toilet and bed, that’s all we needed. We were at the parks 90% of the time anyway!
I was interested to watch your review because I stayed here last year and I was not a fan. The room had a moldy smell, the beds were horrible and the walk to the park was too far to me. I appreciate your perspective though!
Oh yes. Our room had a smell too. We mentioned it in the room tour video. For me, it smelled more musty. For sure not a good smell. The walk is long! It doesn’t feel bad in the morning, but on the way back in the evening it feels like forever! We think that’s why the pricing in this area is usually a bit cheaper. We will consider staying here again if the price is right or for a one night stay before moving to another hotel. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
