We ALWAYS stay at the Park Vue Inn. It's literally right across the street. They had a huge remodel years ago and it's a legit nice place to stay. We've stayed at The Grand Californian and I still prefer Park Vue.
One of my favorite Hotels is Candycane Inn. Could you please do a video on this property since their new renovations. We love the breakfast, pool area and free shuttle.
We love to stay at the Camelot, valet parking is only $20. Last time we stayed there, as we were walking to Disneyland we met the one and only Chris and family. He was very friendly and awesome! Thanks Chris!!
I’m on a Facebook Disney group and one of the most asked questions is about hotels: feedback, amenities, and proximity to the park. This video is a huge huge help and I will post it on the page. Thank you and love your videos!
I miss the Carousel Hotel that was squeezed between the Camelot and Tropicana. It had such a great view of Space Mt in their third floor breakfast room!
Thank you Chris! We are not even going to Disneyland and we watch your videos. Why? Because they are happy, interesting and make us feel like we are taking a mental vacation. We love you!
We are Disney World pros, but we are going to Disneyland for the 1st time in April. I have been freaking out about where to stay. I have a young adult daughter with mobility issues, so finding a hotel close to Disneyland was really important to me. Your video was extremely helpful!!! You are appreciated!
As someone who is going to Disneyland in 9 days, i see this as an absolute win. Edit: we are going to stay at the best western plus hotel, that hotel is an 10/10
Thank you! This is my first time planning a Disney trip myself so these videos have been so helpful. And have really given me a new appreciation for my father and all he did each year
Stayed at the Anaheim Inn 2 years ago. Great stay. Breakfast was limited because of Covid protocols but it was still good. We could see the fireworks from our top floor room. Close enough to take a mid day break ap, change shoes (highly recommended), then head back to the park. If you drive, parking costs more and it's limited. We have our reservations made here again for our next Disneyland trip.
Thank you! Our family stayed at the Best Western Anaheim Inn in 2022. Breakfast was fast, just as you said and we had no trouble making rope drop. The room was nice, and so close! For those used to WDW you will be shocked at how convenient these hotels are. And they are reasonably priced
Thanks, Chris. Our family is all about the closest stay since we spend so much time in the parks. We've stayed at the Camelot, Tropicana and Fairfield out of those you reviewed, and we love them all. The only reason we never reserved the Camelot suite you showed is because they don't have two bathrooms; that many people in two rooms with only one bathroom makes no sense. 😜
There are newer, nicer, cleaner, less expensive, hotels with better food and free parking on Harbor Blvd past the convention center. An Uber takes 5 minutes and costs $6-$8. Everyone is so fixated on being close that they overpay for a substandard hotel.
We stayed at camelot inn and suites once. It was awesome being so close to disneyland! And we could watch the disneyland fireworks from the gazebo, which is right next to the rooftop pool and hot tub.
Chris thanks for doing this; I think some of these are actually closer than the hotels on-property. We've stayed in a few of these and it's really nice to be so close.
Thank you so much for this episode!! I love getting a current view inside all of these hotels with the absolute best proximity to DL. I’ve stayed at a few of these but I like to see the current improvements/ refurbishments and it’s also a refresh for my brain since over time the hotels kind of become blurry as far as what they offer- distant from DL, amenities, etc. Love it!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for everything you provide Chris! Went with my family in May and decided to go again by myself last week. Your videos really helped me plan my trip and feel a lot more comfortable with going on my own. Might be going with my girlfriend after Thanksgiving so I’ll definitely be watching your videos for more info and tips!
Thank you! I live in Orange, and I've had park passes in the past when my girls were little; but cannot afford it right now. It makes me happy to see the fun places we used to go. You make positive difference!! 👍
The Camelot is literally right next door to the Tropicana (you can see the Camelot behind the Tropicana sign). The Camelot also has the motorized scooter/wheel chair rentals, a gym, and a roof top pool. The Tropicana is typically a lot more expensive than the Camelot for only a 30 second difference in walking time. The Best Western Plus is only 30 seconds closer than the Tropicana and is even more expensive. So save $$$ and walk an extra minute by staying at the Camelot.
These videos are very helpful as I'm planning to bring my family to our first Oogie Boogie Bash 2024. @iamtheomnimonkey I really appreciate you keeping the budget difference with just a one mine walk away for the three hotels . I'll be booking the Camelot thank you for the tips
We do the exact same place, 9th floor, face the park, for 7 years. I love this video! It's about time I can see all the differences and benefits like this.
As a silly little request, please include showing grab bars more. Is parking included or additional? Thank you, Chris! The last Disneyland trip I did, we stayed at a hotel near Disneyland BUT I DON'T REMEMBER THE NAME 😭 so these videos REALLY help! With aging parents, the grab bars are extremely helpful to see in hotels.
Thank you! I’m a Disney World girlie planning my first trip to Disneyland and I was really overwhelmed by the idea of not staying on property. This has been so helpful!
I’m coming back to this comment to say that this video helped us so much! We ended up booking at the Tropicana resort and I’m so excited to be walking distance to the park! Thank you 💜
Thank you! Hoping to go back to Disneyland in the next year or so, and this really helped. Love the Mickey shaped pineapples! I still miss the days when, as a kid in the 1970s, we'd stay at the Disneyland Hotel and ride the monorail into the park from the hotel. Those were the days! ❤
Thank you! Your references to the throne make us laugh. On that note, we also appreciated your British castles tour where you showed us the origin of that term. Love your videos. Binge watching as life has been pretty crazy and we finally have some time to watch them.
Thank You!!!! My wife and I bumped into you at The DisneyLand Parks in Spring of 2022. We really appreciated your tips and insights that helped us plan our trip and made it more enjoyable!
Good information, thanks. A group of seniors love to travel ... enjoy amusement parks ... are grateful to the closest resort! This gives us the opportunity to take a break / nap. Keep sharing: California - Disneyland & Universal; Tokyo - Disneyland & Universal.
We love all your videos. You have great energy. On your hotel reviews, we wish you would say if the breakfast was included and if they charge for parking. Thank you!
Thank you again! I know they are all very close together but it's still a lot of walking and filming for one day. I really appreciate you taking the time do show us all these rooms.
Thank You As someone that enjoys experiencing different hotels, I appreciate these videos. I was in town last weekend and stayed at the JW Marriott. Loved our view, and didn't realize its about a 15 minute walk to park (10 if you walk faster, and most people do walk faster than my family...lol). Last thing. That Courtyard Marriott with the mini water park is one of my favorites (especially because they decorate for Halloween). Second to the full balcony room at the Westin.
I LOVE when you use your video editor to edit your videos! It makes me laugh so hard every time. I love all of your videos, but the edited ones are just extra amazing. Thank you for making these for us!
We love staying at Park Place! What I would have LOVED is to hear which ones have adjoining rooms. Maybe they all do - we’ve stayed at half of these - but it’s a big deal for our family.
Thank you! This is just what I needed for my first trip out there this October! Work is sending me for a week, and I need to decide where to stay that weekend to maximize my short time at DL.
We love your jokes! Funny story… 2007 our little family, hubby, me, Hon (11), Ammon (9), Megan (7) took our first family trip to Disneyland. I packed our microwave and pancake griddle to eat on the cheep. Haha When we got to the room I was setting things up and unpacking when the 11yr old said he needed to use the bathroom. I said okay. I thought I heard the main door open but I didn’t think anything of it. The next thing I hear is that 11yr old come in that front door and says, “ The lady at that front desk said we have a bathroom IN our room!” That’s when I realized we need to get these kids out more often!!! 😂😂😂
Thank uou! Really useful. I love the more pracitcal videos a lot - that teach people how tings work in the park. Particularly for people who are not Californians, or even Americans so they migth not know the basics.
Thank you very much for this vid. I am interested in the walking time, ball park cost for the rooms you show and yay or nay on breakfast included. Thank you so much so very helpful
THANK YOU!!! I always stay at the same place on Harbor at the Fairfield Marriot because it's so familiar, pretty quiet and I know it's CLEAN! So it's really nice to see the other rooms incase I want to make a change! Thank you so very much!
Thank you for these videos it’s always nerve-racking to book hotels based on pictures so when you go and tell us how close they are and we can see them. It helps a lot.
Thank you, I am looking for a hotel for my next trip...I will be with my kids and grandchildren...hoping to find a big suite with a connected room.....You are awesome ❤
Thank you for all the information you provide us! Really appreciate your take on the local hotels. Disneyland is my home and have been going since 1980 and have stayed at a lot at the local ones to include Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian.
Over the top helpful, especially for those of us who live far away! LOVE LOVE LOVE Get Away Today!! They are the nicest people and so helpful! I even got my daughter to use them on her last trip to Disneyland! We stayed at the Grand Legacy on our last family trip.
Thank you Chris! We went to Disneyland in a few years ago and stayed way at what is Camelot inn now. It was so convenient… not luxurious, but clean and well kept. Would stay again, but Park Inn is RIGHT THERE at the crossing… my husband said he wanted to stay there next time… 😂😂 cause it was 50 steps less.
You have no idea how helpful this was. We are planning our first trip to DL (many trips to WDW but none at DL - so we needed to change that) and I was hoping someone had a video of all of these hotel options. Thank you so much!!

Chris while pointing to the toilet: “ This is if you ever use that” 🤭 I love you Chris! You always make me laugh! Thank you so much! 💖
THANK YOU!
Thank you I needed to know this
My husband and I laughed at that too 😂
Also, I have to say- the coffee joke (mugged) was too notch dad humor 😂😂 loved it!!!

Thank you. About to book our November trip and saving about $200 with your link. We always stay at the Anaheim hotel. Thank you again. ❤

@@mjwbulich sounds very pleasant and easy but when you have multiple children with strollers, getting on and off a car is not preferred. Time is $$$
@@mjwbulich could you name some of your favorite hotels?
Thank you, this video is so extremely helpful for families like mine, who have never been to Disneyland and are overwhelmed by all the options.
Great video! We're staying at the Park Vue Inn this Fall. The closest hotel to the Disneyland entrance on Harbor.
We stayed at camelot inn and suites once. It was awesome being so close to disneyland! And we could watch the disneyland fireworks from the gazebo, which is right next to the rooftop pool and hot tub.

We stay at the Fairfield every time, and the top floor park facing, you can hear the park. My favorite mornings. Great park vibes.

This is so helpful, thank you!! That coffee machine would make the rooms pay for themselves; basically free! (Girl math)
My Mother-in-law stayed at the Tropicana and she loved it plus they also have showers 🚿 instead of tubs for people that are Handycaped💜💜💜
Great vlog esp for first time visitors! The locations for these hotels couldn't be more perfect especially after a long day at Disney or DCA.
Chris the pool in Best Western plus is a big t. Shirt 😂😂 oh and THANKYOU

Thank you. I've always wondered about these hotels near Disneyland and you covered what we can expect and more! And keep those Dad Jokes coming.
Thank you for this! I really appreciate you legwork and enthusiasm. You help me get my Disney fix and get me planning the next trip!
We love getaway today! I never do anything Disney through anyone else! I book with them for EVERYTHING 🎉
Thank you. Being from overseas looking at things like what plugs are by the bed and drawer/wardrobe space and bathroom is VERY helpful.
Chris.... We do appreciate you and your help/advice/tips/tricks/tie/advice/jokes very much.

Thank You 🧐
Thank you- it is so much better to see inside the rooms and other details than just looking at a map
Thanks. These types of videos are super helpful. I feel that some hotels will make the rooms and are look nicer or larger than they really are.
Thank you very much for this vid. I am interested in the walking time, ball park cost for the rooms you show and yay or nay on breakfast included. Thank you so much so very helpful
Staying at Tropicana in Dec 2023. 2nd time staying. Close to Parks, great, clean hotel, great staff.
Thank you!! I love seeing the hotels. It's a better perspective than pictures online!
THANK YOU!!! I always stay at the same place on Harbor at the Fairfield Marriot because it's so familiar, pretty quiet and I know it's CLEAN! So it's really nice to see the other rooms incase I want to make a change! Thank you so very much!
Thanks. It just helps to see what the rooms look like without judging them via photos online.
I personally love the informative videos! I’m literally watching now and will choose our hotel with the info from this video. I appreciate you
Thank you for these videos it’s always nerve-racking to book hotels based on pictures so when you go and tell us how close they are and we can see them. It helps a lot.
Thank you!! Yes this is great! Content we don’t get from other Disneyland vloggers!!
Thank you, I am looking for a hotel for my next trip...I will be with my kids and grandchildren...hoping to find a big suite with a connected room.....You are awesome ❤
Our FAV spot! Tropicana Inn & Suites… Been staying there for YEARS
🥳🥳🥳
Thank You, Our family is staying at one of these hotels early next year and it's nice to see a most recent view of the room.
you're the best! my husband and I always benefit from your videos.
Thank you. Dreaming of a west coast Disney visit. We'll see if I ever make it.
I have stayed at the Best Western Park Place before and we loved it. So close. So convenient
We also stayed at the Camelot and enjoyed it, but we like BW better. But that’s just our opinion and experience
I appreciate it so much when you do the hotel videos. Thank you so much for including this on your channel.
Thanks, Chris! Our family loves your videos. The closest hotels to Disneyland was very entertaining and helpful!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Every time I go to Disneyland I always stay at the Fairfield INN it’s a great place to stay while visiting Disneyland
Park Vue Inn is great! They have return guest discounts too.
Camelot Inn and Suite are our favorite hotel to stay at on our Disneyland trips.
You have no idea how helpful this was. We are planning our first trip to DL (many trips to WDW but none at DL - so we needed to change that) and I was hoping someone had a video of all of these hotel options. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for all you do and the positivity you spread. You make my day everyday! Keep the puns coming I love them.
YES! We love these!! I love helpful information and we have stayed at 2 of these hotels (and booked with GETAWAY TODAY!!) and they are all great! I love seeing the other options. Thank you. I've stayed at the grand legacy a couple of times and loved seeing it again
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have needed a video like this! And, thanks to the hotels for letting you film. Perfect!!!!
Congrats on 200k subscribers! Celebrating your success, Chris! Why? Because you make the world a better place
Thank you so much love jarl ❤❤❤❤
