Oh the TV people were holding him back so much in this. He was very charismatic and playful, for him to just stand there must have been torturous for him.
Exactly what they said in 56 Elvis was a different kind of animal when it comes to music he was the big bang and your are a true reactor and BEEEAUTIFUL ! LAWD HAVE MERCY ❤
Elvis Presley lived to make his fans happy and was at his happiness when singing for them. Elvis Presley was their "king". Elvis Presley gave away most of his wealth to family, fans and charity.
Elvis was so much more than a pop/ rock n roll singer. Most of the movies he made were not much more than B movies with very similar plots. He made a few films where he was really challenged to act & he was a very gifted natural actor. But those films were not as popular as his other films. His music was rooted in Gospel and he never did a concert where he didn’t include one or more Gospel songs. “Crying in the Chapel “ was one of his Gospel songs that made it to #1. He was kind, generous, respectful and humble. So many Uber talents are lost to us way too early.... so sad. 🙏🏻❤️
Sarah, my grandfather's surname was Dingler! Pronounced the same as yours with the difference being the "e' and "i" . Wish you could have grown up listening to Elvis like I did. I saw the first TV appearance and every one following. I had his recordings. He was a true icon.
You should watch Jailhouse Rock I remember when he was at the theaters thought my aunt was going to have a heart attack when he started singing I enjoyed it then and I still enjoy it. And so glad to see the younger Generations enjoying to.
There would have been microphones all around the stage, hanging down above the stage. This was a TV show, not a concert so it was a TV studio. He would've been 21 or thereabouts x
Everyone, men and women both, loved Elvis. He had a magical voice who could sing anything. And he loved people and that's why he was so comfortable in front of an audience. Rest in beautiful peace Elvis. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@SarahDengler his twin passed at birth. Haunted him for the rest of his life. BTW you should watch the 1970 live performance if this in Vegas - it’s an iconic performance and would blow your mind what he does 😀😀
Elvis was at least 30 years older than me, but as a kid, I was glued to TV and had the biggest crush on Elvis, and almost as big a crush on Micheal Jackson, Elvis' Gospel and Christmas Albums were so darn good too. Elvis could sing the telephone book and have girls fainting in the massive audience.
I was just six years old and remember watching this performance on the Ed Sullivan Show back in 1956. The way you reacted in your reaction video is how all the young women in America reacted at the time, there had never been any performer before that could mesmerize an audience like Elvis did and to this day, no man was ever as good looking, charismatic and sound as good as Elvis Presley did in one package, he was amazing! Yes, the TV picture was in black and white, color TV didn't make it's appearance for another 10 years or so. Thanks for posting, great video as always!
When we look at this and through the years of his 68 comeback special to the Aloha from Hawaii concert; we realized how Elvis has changed our culture...He taught us how to sing, how to dance, how to speak, how to dress, how to treat our fellow human beings ❤️ The very best there ever was, is and will be 👍💯👏
You are so right when you said he had everything, he was gorgeous, talentend, and the charisma like no one else. He was in a league of his own. But he was also generous, kind, and humble. Please react to "You gave me a mountain Live in Honolulu 1973. thank you, great reaction
Been a fan for over 40 years . The thing with elvis is this . When he sings anything he makes you feel the words he sings the words with feeling and the audience feel it . That's his gift to us

Yes, you are so right! ELVIS had it all! He was so handsome, sweet, and his voice and Charisma out of this world! I can't describe how much i love ELVIS! He was 21 in this movie! Thank you for sharing this wonderful Video!
How do I know it's going to be a good day? I open up RUclips and see Sarah has posted one of her excellent and patented reactions, this time to none other than Elvis! Sarah, there is a Vancouver disc jockey named Red Robinson who started in radio back in the 1950's and was still active as of a few years ago (not sure about today). He met everybody in the music industry, and introduced Elvis to the Vancouver audience in the late 50's, one of The King's few shows ever outside of the USA. Red told me that of every single person he ever met, Elvis was by far the most charasmatic and had an amazing presence! Thank you!!
First of all you are super hot but you raise a lot of good points. And I'm so happy you're checking out something like this. I'm nearly sixty years old down and this was still well before my time. But having been a musician my whole life, yeah what they did back then was they would have a so-called Echo chamber it was just an area of a stage for a recording studio that had a high ceiling because back then singers actually projected to the room I kind of like Vaudeville or opera singers. But he also became so incredible that the use of the microphone. And this song is one that I remember hating as a kid because it was the music my parents listened to. But now that I'm older oh, oh my God yeah that guy could totally bring it absolutely 100% I'm glad you are drawing attention to it, thank you for the reaction.
He had the voice, the charisma, the talent of no one else and it served him with the public for decades. Plus he was kind and generous and looked out for others in his daily life and came from a church background. "In the Ghetto" is one of his most moving songs. Used to listen to it on radio while driving in Chicago and it hits hard.

To think that this man never got to tour Europe and the world, is simply a tragedy. He was loved everywhere, and would have been amazed (knowing how humble he was), to see what he meant to so many people. 45 years after he died, he is still the benchmark for every other artist. The difference is that they all seem like total squares compared to him.
Great reaction! Elvis performance of this song is so beautiful. There’s another version of this song (1970 live Las Vegas- Love Me Tender) kissing all the girls 🥰 you may find this entertaining. The ladies wanted him and the men wanted to be him!!!
