Interesting video. I make my own floats, have done for over 30 years. I’ve been using the same stick float that I made 30 years ago. It’s still brilliant. To this day the float manufacturers haven’t managed to catch up with the design of this float. I have lots of other designs, including pole and peacock waggles. Well done to you.
Fantastic video 👌
Another nice video, can you tell me what thickness of the nylon thread you use please ,20,30,40 ect ,thanks
I take back 😊what I said on one of your earlier videos about stirring the paint. 😊
None of the whipping is actually bonded.
My hobby is making fishing lures, but occasionally I use a float when fishing for perch & bluegill. I found this quite interesting. You did a fine job of showing and explaining what you were doing.
Subscribed..easy explanation to your float making process and they look superb, great attention to detail. Thank you for taking the time to film it, I’m looking forward to watching some others.
Nice video mate explained everything perfectly, time to try it myself
I have just subbed to your channel and will look forward to watching more of your float making vids
Don't the extra coats of varnish you put on later alter the shotting? Just wondering...
