Hey man, hope all is well. What way is that drill going? To me it looks like its turning away from the file, for the best results you want it going towards you. So the teeth can have the best chance at removing material. Great video! All the best from UK, cheers
I'm doing great, and yes I did have it running the opposite way in the video but I do run it the Wright way and I do get a better finish. Thank you for pointing that out and I hope you are doing great over there in the UK.
I can not drill a strait hole in a quirk. I bought a mini lathe on prime for 22. Bucks and it is worth 100 I love it and it has like 5 speeds it had 6 tools too
too much trouble! I am going to just drill a cork and run the fishing line through the hole and use a small split shot as a stopper! That way it looks natural like a piece of wood in the water. I just leave my bail open and hold the line to feel when I have a fish striking!

I find if you get somewhere near the middle you can then shape it when you sand and file it. Hope that helps.
Well done. I'm curious as to how you put the line on the floats.
You run the line though the eyelet, then put a sinker on 1 side and a stopper above the eyelet.
