You got me all excited after watching this! I used what I had on hand. I painted them up with testers, paint and nail polish. Then clear coated with varnish. They look like fish and frogs with red mouths. I didn’t have any wire so I use 250 pound monofilament and crimped both ends. I also had some rubber skirts that I made for my spinner and buzzer baits that I added on the rear ends of them. They will definitely get hammered by fish!
@@QuietWildernessFishing they look great but keep getting short strikes. I re rigged 2 with a other treble in the middle of the bait. Haven't fished with them after making sure they ran straight.
That mug, has one of the best lines on a mug I've seen... I donno how I made it 32 years and never heard that joke before... lmfao. Cool video as a whole too, the lack of talking is interesting.. you make cool content! Edit: just now saw the ASMR hashtag, 1 second after I posted this... makes sense your not talking lol..
Haha, I like to experiment with the videos. Makes it fun for me. Really appreciate all your feedback and taking the time to watch some of these videos. Thanks Bill!
Wine Cork and stainless steel wire. Paint, split rings, hooks. The skirt is a proper silicone skirt, and the blue wire holding the skirt on is thin copper.
Thank you! I don't know why the audio and video became out of sync. It never used to be like that but somehow over time that happened. I have a new channel now called Paddleheads, uploading weekly videos if you're interested. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. Dude this is awesome to hear! Thanks for the feedback. Hope it worked out for ya! 🤘

Always more fun to make your own!
Agreed!
Excellent popper
Thanks!!
Nice. Homemade lures are so underrated.
As long as they work, right? 😆 Thanks for watching!

Love the skirt idea
Cool! Thanks for watching 🤙
That will certainly catch fish. I love the lead weight you placed. Provides a great action.
Thanks!
Excellent mon homme .. tu m'a inspiré d'acheter une autre bouteille de vin. Bravo.
That was secretly my goal... 😂
I was wondering what gage wire is that you are using?
Good question! I don't recall. It's not too thick, but not to thin... 😂 Just right.
Your video editing is excellent.
Thanks so much!
I can almost see this as becoming a mini popping cork for freshwater.
🤔 but, isn't that exactly what it already is? I'm confused... 🤦
Very nice and very underrated
Thanks, agreed!
Excellent work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Great video 👍 Inspired to carve out a couple corks myself and see what I can make.
You can do it!
What do you use for the weight?
A crushed lead bullet style weight.
Great job on the lure, really digging the ASMR vibes!
Thanks Gian 🤘
Dude, your videos are getting crazy good. Lure looks awesome too.
Honestly, thank you. I really do appreciate you following along and engaging. And your kind words. 🙏
3:22 what metal is that and where do I get it?
It is 1/8" thick steel wire. Most hardware stores should carry a spool of it.
Great job!
Thanks for watching!
Nice lure! Can you tell me the materials you used to make it
Wine Cork and stainless steel wire. Paint, split rings, hooks. The skirt is a proper silicone skirt, and the blue wire holding the skirt on is thin copper.
That would be really good for a gloomy day
I think so too! Thanks for watching 🤘
I wonder if you could make a top water rat or mouse that is jointed? Like the Spro rat.
That would be an interesting challenge!

Good video really enjoyed it. Though the audio not matching up was difficult. Otherwise really good!

Awesome video
Thank you!
Good job man. Post a follow up with it catching a bass!
I gave the lure away as a gift to Ben from Conjuring Rock. I told him to get a photo when he catches something on it. Thanks for watching!
Приветствую. Всех благ.
Great vid
Thanks Sam!
Great video. Where do you get your wire?
Thank you! The steel stainless wire was picked up at Canadian Tire. Comes in a roll and I just cut to size.
Likely
Totally likely. Like, 100%

You didn't catch anything with it.
Didn't promise I would either 😉 just a water test to check action and function. Worked like anyother.
