- The Cubs have a very deep and quality farm system. That is the result of having made some hard choices with the trades of the 2016 core, other trades and some great draft picks. Our strength is our prospect list. We currently have 13 "Prospects" on the 40 man roster. In this video, Randy has picked his favorite 6 who are not on the 40 man. It's a very special group and you need to know who they are. Watch this one immediately!
Being a lifelong Cub Fan -- Winning isn't everything to me! I know it is the ultimate achievement. But I want players I can pull for and enjoy their attitudes and personal aspects as well. I've never liked the idea of getting established Star players from other teams ( makes me feel like the Yankees= YUKE). I would rather struggle with young talent we've either developed or through trades for future stars ( I.E. = Sandberg). I must admit I always had a bad taste in my mouth with 1984; Cey (Dodgers), Bowa ( Phillies) ETC. BRING ON THE PROSPECTS!!!
We are different as Cubs fans, for sure.
good vid! subbed go cubs go
Thanks for the sub!
Nice job on the video. Lots of good stuff & a lot of what im hearing myself.
But 1 disagreement i had is Owen Cassie is not a fringe OF anymore. He developed a TON this year in RF & has always had Underrated Athleticism. Plus a canon for an arm.
He will be about as good as Happ is in LF once he gets use to Wrigley but playing RF of course & the better arm.
Offensively he just has to limit the swing&miss in the zone to limit the K% & hes w 40HR guy that gets on base ALOT
Can't argue that. We are all hoping for his continued defensive development!
I abousltey love Horton and I am glad he's Cub but having to watch him just blow up my Dogs and Hogs wasn't. Fun but I am excited to see hin in the Majors
Just put up a new video on Horton. He did blow up your dogs and Hogs.
Most of them ARE still prospects by definition.
Need 150AB...or 50IP I think
Kilian though I think had graduated and unfortunately I can't see him having a home on this Cubs team...he's gonna be one of the next cuts from the 40 man if he isn't traded.
They sure are.
Sounds like the Dodgers saw the same thing you did with Ferris
It does. But I'm liking Michael Busch. I have a profile on him uploading as I write this.
Cub never bring up there young guys like the Braves there around 25.
