You could try doing a UK edc edition. Or world edcs to see how different laws effects different carrys.

You should start carrying a sharp knife. Very utilitarian and whenever I’m nervous walking at night it’s nice to have for defense.

Phone - iPhone SE in a temporary case at the moment due to the current one being broken, due for an upgrade so I'll see what happens there
Wallet - Black Leather, it's bulky but it fits my style and has everything in that I need
Keys - a massive bunch that will be downsized eventually
Black Knife - small blade (UK Laws) just enough for opening packages and cutting little bits here and there not really any good for defense
Torch - just a small one in black which I use for walking the dog so I don't step in anything disgusting and more importantly the dog doesn't step in glass/anything sharp
Good quality metal Pen - again in black, gets used a lot more than I thought it would
All in black, all looking really nice, I'll get a photo sorted at the weekend if this is still a thing :)

5,713. Looking forward to the fix my EDC series. I also wouldn't mind an all white theme, but I kind of really want to see a wood or natural materials (bone, leather, horn, antler, etc.) theme.
My EDC is themed '20th Century". All the shit I still carry from no later than the 1990's: Buck 110 Folding Hunter. Leatherman PST2. Mini Maglite (Xenon bulb). Snubbie revolver in 38 special. 6 spare rounds in a speed strip. Red bandana. Folding magnifying lens. Whiskey flask. Golf pencil and tiny notepad. Bic lighter. Leather wallet with cash, bandaids.

My edc - Zippo , Zippo refill kit , wallet , mini-maglite LED , keychain and best part - everything has clips and or chains so its all attached to my pants . I am in a wheelchair , and where I live it is very inconvenient for me to get around , so I basically have everything needed , and kept in a way that I can't lose anything . The only thing I am missing - a small knife . I am also adding a pocket watch at some point to compliment my G-shock . But as far as a knife - I keep looking but haven't found what I'm looking for.

It is completely possible. There are tons of wooden and leather gear. All leather would be a lot more difficult. There's wooden handles for knives, wooden pens, wooden watches, leather watches, leather key organizers (keysmart also does a leather one), leather and wooden phone cases, and so one. It's just a matter of looking.

You ever think about doing a tactical theme? Obviously it has to have the tactical look, but it also has to be tough gear that simply works and doesn’t have to be necessarily flashy.
maybe a tsa/hospital/courthouse worker carry essentially a no knife version. it can give people ideas on having a to-go set up ready for situations where they can still have a carry system even where a blade is not accepted
is someone able to tell me what the difference between damasteel and damascus are? and what the general thoughts in the community are about damasteel? im new to edc and having a hard time finding this info cuz i really like damascus steel and wondering if damasteel makes the cut
Damasteel is just a patented method of making Damascus. If you want to know more, there a good article on knifeart.com about it
Maybe a video on people that carry anything by a particular maker whether it be Spyderco or Protech and highlighting some of the milestones and unique additions said manufacturer has contributed to the edc community.

i recently got into the idea of a mad max/fallout/wasteland themed edc. Now im still talking about a real edc, not machetes and such but in terms of materials and visuals i envision elements of ductape, burnt wood, maybe a rusty look...
I am not sure if you would enjoy this kind of edc and if its even possible to achieve without "overdoing" the theme.

Just got my copper scales for my tenacious, they are beautiful, but the knife is quite a chunk now, I'll be getting some copper plating solution soon so I can do the blade and the hardware so it's all copper.

Titanium does patina. It will oxidize a develop a grayish color with hues of blue.

You should do a color themed carry other than black, metal, or earth tone. Having a bright color would be a splash since many edcs are the aforementioned.

The Black version of the Gerber Crucial is a slightly different configuration vs the original. I love mine, but I do kinda miss spring-loaded pliers.

I'm a student and I'm not allowed to carry knives at school so I took apart my one multitool and took out the knife and saw blades and replaced them with a key but I would really like a student edc so I can see what to add. Anyway i would really like a red edc. I have seen many edc tools in red and it would be really cool to see them all paced together to make a masterpiece

How do you get aftermarket sleeves for a Leatherman Squirt? I've avoided getting one because I don't love aluminum and I don't care for the limited color choices. That said, how about some less common color-themed EDC? For instance, forest green, purple, pink, etc.

My suggestion for the new EDC thing would be to change it to something like "Enhance My EDC", rather than "fix" it. This type of naming would imply an improvement to ones existing EDC, as opposed to implying there's something wrong that they need to change.
