Hello viewers! Hope you're all doing well. I just want to clarify a misunderstanding that some of you seem to have: "it's not about good people." Actually It is, if you truly understand every character. The protagonist's sister, Greta, was a beautiful soul who used to bring him different meals. The mother represented goodness-at least until the end. Two other characters weren’t as good, in my opinion, but that was okay for the protagonist to a smaller extent-perhaps because he expected it. Anyway, this was just my point of view. You're free to share yours! Thank you.
The story illustrates how your physical appearance dictates how everyone treats you. In society (including your closest circle), you are only your looks and nothing else. Everything else only matters to you yourself when your attention is on yourself. However, the famous Ted talk which showed that the most important thing in life is relationship with others sheds a very grim light on the unattractive masses.
I get your point. But I don't think it's just looks although it's a massive part. Could also be weight. Also. The way we get treated throughout our lives can make us bitter, and cynical. People dont like being around us. I've seen this hierarchy in how I and others are treated in my family and its massively exacerbated if we fall on hard times.
Could this simply be an evolutionary reaction to your impression of others; perhaps a visual perspective and immediately available to someone’s “inner feeling” or intention toward You or Life in general.
If pleasing people means sabotaging your power and heightening your suffering, don’t do it. Maximizing your well being & gaining power is self respect,
This is a very well put together video about Metamorphosis. Visually, the imagry was disturbingly apt. I really enjoyed this. Your voice and narration speed was also soothing and en pointe. Thank you. ❤

Never no who the backstabbers really are, especially on the job. They may be nice to your face but don't turn your back!

Agreed
@ too many people want to be “Suffering servants” and then expect others to follow their example as some twisted virtue. Self sacrifice
