      naww that makes us so happy! Orangutans are such incredible animals especially if you can get up close and just watch how 'human-like' they are!

    Orangutan's are so special. We spent time in Malaysian Borneo earlier this year and got to see them. When we arrived at our hotel there was a wild one on the roof. It was totally crazy! We just had a Beauty and the Best date night here in Mexico city. Totally the thing to do haha!

    • @flyingthenest
      @flyingthenest  7 лет назад +1

      +Chasing a Plate okay wild orang-utan on the roof? I might be a little scared to see that haha. They can be quiet powerful and dangerous. Woohoo what did you guys think of the movie?

    • @ChasingaPlate
      @ChasingaPlate 7 лет назад

      It was crazy! We were just walking in with our bags and there she was. Ended up walking about 30cm from us as we just stood still like statues watching the whole thing unfold. I was so gobsmacked I didn't even get very good footage for our vlog haha.

    I'm living in Perth. I know westerners that plan to visit Malaysia for the first time often curious about our cinema, Malaysian cafe, night life, shopping mall etc... Honestly, not much different. Unless if you visit smaller town, or villages than yes it's different. Otherwise, Malaysian pretty much live in modern cities with whatever you can get or find in western countries, more more...

    • @flyingthenest

    Just to give you some tips if you consider to explore Putrajaya precisely
    as for me, me and my family decided to stay for one night because we do not want to rush to explore the city haha. okay, let me give you my whole itinerary while staying in Putrajaya.
    on the first day:
    -we check in to the Everly hotel , which is located just next to the shopping mall
    -then, we walk ( you can consider to take grabcar ) to have some famous and authentic malaysian foods as well as wonderful deserts in a traditional food court called 'TAMAN WARISAN' ! (you should consider to take a 'grab car apps' from the hotel to go there cuz it's hot!) and please eat Roti John and drink Coconut shake
    -then we ride a cruise which is located below the Putra mosque!THIS IS THE MUST .
    -then we went to Putrajaya wetland by using grabcar and enjoy our afternoon there with nature !
    -then we take grabcar to the ''Taman Putra Perdana'' which is located inside the biggest roundabout in the world , and we did some walk and explore the garden
    -then we take grab car to have our dinner at the famous and modern food mall at Ayer@8 by the lake , please go to this restaurant that we tried (Slero d timur (for its mud crab maggie noodle)) and( Shell out (for its seafood)) .
    -then we WALK from the food mall Ayer@8 to the famous and gigantic bridge at night (Wawasan Bridge i think) , and from there we walk again to Putra Mosque and it is so beautiful at night!
    -then we head to the hotel
    second day :
    -we woke up in the morning , very early . after having breakfast, we take hotel taxi or grabcar to the Botanical Garden or the locals call it as 'taman Botani' .THIS GARDEN IS HUUGE AND FUN .
    -Then, we take grabcar or the bus to the 'masjid besi' or Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque ., and explore the mosque tour, and we walk from the mosque straight to the gigantic Palace of Justice ( which is a court).THIS IS THE MUST .
    -then we take the Hot air balloon for the view
    -then we went back to hotel and check out
    -We go to KL sentral and book a bus to go to Malacca for RM10!

    Can you guys speak about what a Flanged Male Orangutan is and how they morph into a Flanged male

    • @flyingthenest
      @flyingthenest  7 лет назад

      +Todd Lucas I think it's a dominance thing. So when the male is ready to lead he grows it. But I don't think there is scientific proof!

    • @toddlucas1550
      @toddlucas1550 7 лет назад

      I understand it is the greatest metamorphoses in all Mammals. A male Orangutan becomes the Alpha male and morphs into the Flanged Male. At some point later for reasons not clear they will change back and look like other male Orangutans while a different male from the group will assume the roll of the Flanged male. Seems I have done just that a couple of times in my life. You two are surly having the time of your lives. I have to ask if it is not to personal; what made miss Jess look mad at the end of the vlog. :)

      To bad, and a feel a little bit sorry for the other cinema visitors because of the noise of two Aussies eating some crispy chips 😂

    Interesting! I didn´t know that orangutans take iron like humans, but to me there is no place like Kuala Lumpur, the CITY, civilized by humans. Natural does not always mean good or healthy, it can be just wild, dangerous and crazy. I love artificial cities and food. That´s the future and the result of centuries of human research.

    Why you guy visit this evilous island? They are not supposed to keep orang utan from Borneo for tourism. Lonely Planet did not include this place in the travel book for the park owner anti animal conservation practices. Sabah and Sarawak refused to accept any orang utan babies for release back to jungle from this park due to over proximity contact with human.
