We Malaysians finds it funny when foreigners eat the Nasi lemak condiments separately...you're supposed to mix everything and get a perfect bite that has everything in a spoon or use your hands (using your fingers) and push the perfect bite with your thumb (if you're eating with hands) into your mouth. Most Malaysian food has to be mixed before eating, only then will you be able to taste the flavour bomb of that particular dish. The sambal can be gradually mixed in according to how much you want the heat to be...stay safe and welcome to Malaysia ❤
