  • New invention to easily pull out and remove old fence posts and concrete (hopefully)...........but does it work ?
I usually use a farm jack to remove old fence posts but they can be cumbersome to use and have a habit of falling over and slipping when under tension.
Here I have tried to develop a fence post remover that you can simply place over the cut fence post and winch the post out vertically. This can also be used to remove Met posts and possibly small trees, shrubs and hedging...........as well as rotten fence posts.
In this video I show what I have come up with and show it being tested on a newly installed fence post, BUT does it work ? Well, you will have to watch the video to see :-)
I hope you enjoy the video and please like and leave a comment if possible, that would be highly appreciated - Thank you !

Ok if you can get screws into the post and not to wet

Usually you can get long lag bolts into posts no problem, get them in deep enough to get a grip of good wood. This was all an experiment as I like the idea of a lightweight tripod that can be taken to jobs to rip stuff out the ground with minimal effort 😂 Back to the drawing board with this one, I will not be defeated 💪 To be continued..........cheers for the comment John !

Great idea man! What is the specific pulley crank that you used in this? Much appreciated

Good stuff big yin can u connect yer impact to the winch in some way just for the initial drive to see if it stops the tension so it don't get a chance to build up .

I don't think that would work Ian due to the sheer amount of force required - those posts take a huge amount of force to get them moving initially - some sort of hydraulic or "comealong" system would work best I think. Thanks for the comment 👍
