P.S... if you read this, you got me out the house this Sunday just gone and I walked 15km round the forest trails because your videos are INSPIRING DUDE.. so good for my mental health. Thank you dude 🤙
Fantastic, what incredible views also. I must admit having the motorhome is a great experience but I use a small van as well and it's great too, and much more stealthy uknow uknow uknow.
great video mate, The village you visited Staithes, is where Captain James Cook first worked and got a taste for the sea, as you drove out, the big factory type place on your left was Boulby Potash Mine, one of the deepest mines in europe. It goes 3 miles out under the north sea and the tunnels are big enough for huge dumper trucks to drive round, at the very end of the mine, scientists have built a laboratory to search for 'dark matter'. The smoke you saw up on the moors is how the farmers control the bracken, they do controlled burns through the year, keep up the great work !!

I do prefer to shoot and eat , helps the environment with control of species and it's more ethical than this mass production of chicken where most of them end up at the landfill. My mother used to tell me how as a child she has to eat her pet chicken... Not nice when it's a pet, but needs are a must, in them days.

As regards surfing spots, Bridlington believe it or not, was the first place to see this sport in the UK. It was the 1800s I think, and the king of Hawaii sent his sons to these Isles for their education. Their teacher brought them to Brid for the day and surfboards were somehow manufactured (sorry can't remember how).
Anyway there is some sort of plaque on the north promenade wall with the info.
There used to be a surfing festival there a while back as a regular September attraction. But in any fine weather people with all manner of surfing sports equipment will appear on the south beach at low tide. The beach is endless and a well kept local secret (oops sorry) because Brid is seen as down market. That's just to keep the snobs out.
Oh wow sounds like my sort of place 😀, love a bit if surfing I'm not good but being out there on the board behind the break is something else
