Thank goodness I got to see Lands End before all that commercial crap was built on it. First time I went I was 5 years old and I still have the photo of the Lands End signpost that my parents got showing the distance to Birmingham. Went again as an adult about 12 months before they started building there. Just parked up and walked around. Not every commercial idea improves an area.

Pretty sure there were cameras as you enter the Lands End parking lot if I remember correctly. I was there last year and could believe they had a picket fence around the sign. None of that at John O’groats eh! If you walk a mile or so along the cliff to the left of lands end you have Nanjizal beach. Very nice indeed. Other great beaches are Porthcurno and Kynance cove. Cheers
Your best parking at Sennen Cove and walking to Lands end. Much better and some beautiful coastline on the way. Saying that I wouldn't visit that tourist trap anyway. Make sure to visit Kynance cove if your heading for the most southernly point which is Lizard. 👍
Thanks for that advice and yes I wouldn't visit and pay £11, What if you were to go on the rocks to go further than that sign which of course is the true land's end and furthest west not south as the lizard hold that honor.
13.4v for your battery is healthy fella nothing wrong with that it can still work perfectly fine at 12.4v ! And looking at the prices for car parking and picture taking for 10.99 seems like the pirates never left Cornwall
14.4 volts would be the fully charged state when on charge, once it's off charge it will settle to about 13.3 Volts and still be fully charged. If I remember you have a Victron Dc-Dc charger so you might want to check that you've setup the correct setting so that it charges at the correct voltage. Best thing to do would be to check you battery manufacturers recommended charge settings and adjust the Victron accordingly. You will need the Bulk charge voltage and the float charge voltage settings. If you have a Victron mppt solar charger you want to mimic the same settings.
Absolutely loving seeing you down in my birth county, sadly can't afford to live there now but I do visit often, it has become ridiculously expensive sadly 😔
Hi just just came across your Chanel and subscribed, really enjoyed this Cornwall as I was born there, and used to live near lands end, ,now watching your other videos,
How are you charging the battery? If you have a smart alternator then you need a DC to DC charger I think as it could be that. I use a split charge relay on my campervan and I was lucky my alternator is not smart . It gives off around 14v
I haven’t seen Land‘s end since I worked there when it first sold and did the first construction work there right through the winter so very cold windy wet place in the winter and i can’t even remember how many years ago that was . It is very nice to see you there. Hope you enjoyed Cornwall. It would be great to see you back again. I don’t suppose you will. But another really good video, thank you
I did john o'groats to lands end, in 2022. What a contrast. John o'groats was an 'optional' parking fee (signs everywhere saying don't forget to pay for parking, but it's a voluntary donation) and going for a photo with the sign was free. Lands end was just a money making scam, as you pay for everything. Parking was £4 at the time. I managed to get a free photo at the lands end sign post, because the attendant, had gone for lunch 👍🏼
When you go to lands end, make sure you go at like 10 o’clock at night, I left 7.30am there’s still lights around any park up for free I’ve still not had any letters or a fine for two years big scam
Used to be free when I was a kid, and i can remember the visiting the fog horn station that was there so loud in foggy weather quite creepy when it went off

Enjoyed the video its a great location with those stunning views. The current will keep going up and down as the induction cooker regulates the temperature that's normal. The car battery voltage should be between 13.2 to 13.6 volts it shouldn't go up to 14 volts.
I don't know what size of inverter you have I have a 2.5 KW inverter and the total battery amperage input is 330 amps. As for your tail gate you could go to a caravan dealer and get an awning rail where you could attach to the inside of the tail gate and then slide an awning to enclose the area with maybe a post or 2 to keep the tailgate firm, therefore keeping the wind at bay. You would need to drive a long way to charge up your battery I suppose you have a split relay charger as my late father had when he went off with the caravan with me also late mother, and also a leisure battery at that as they can be run down low and then recharge unlike a car battery if go's low takes longer to recharge, hope this gives you some thought's cheers.
Your battery is probably fine if it’s reading over 13 it’s in great shape. It will read more while charging but will immediately drop when not charging.. if the battery ever reads below 9 then it’s f@kt! But anything above 9 it should charge…to 12….if it takes ages to charge that also indicates battery is good & if it fully charges in minutes from flat then it’s also probably dead… hello btw 😊

Mate get there in the summer that place is fab . Get your self in the sea and the sea pool.
Lands end at their best mate . RIP everyone of right left and centre . People need to give that place a miss . Without the people and the tourists. They wouldn’t last long . They are robbing people without using a mask 👍👍
Lands End is the most South West Point, obvs Cornwall being in the South West not the South.
The beep on mine means your pan isn't on properly.
You are supposed to use a copper based pan .
Still not got a van yet
I live in Cornwall, however beware of sharks, they charge £18 for a crab sandwich.
