I Bought this snowblower 2 years ago, I added 2 led lights a voltmeter, heated grips and an easy charge pigtail to the battery. This Machine is a beast, heavy powerful and with practice fantastic. It has one real flaw and it's really annoying. IF you are TALL and you adjust the auger height higher in order to clear or steer, it pivots the handlebars commensurately lower. This Machine is already built for a shorter person so when you pivot the front up ( which you need to in deep snow or ice to turn 180 you find your back bent over far more than you like. Fatigue creating. If you use it a lot like we need to, its a very obvious drawback. Having said that the power , reliability, controls, throw distance, traction all shine... Honda please make a bar riser kit.
No pavement here, so I have to adjust the skid shoes appropriately. Even when adjusted to allow about 3/4" - 1" of height, occasionally a stone would go flying. Par for the course on a gravel road and drive.
Thanks Ryan. We consider ourselves fortunate to live where we do. The 1332 is a great machine, although we could really use something a bit more robust. I plan on discussing in a future video.
Unfortunately, it seems like most walk-behind snow blowers are engineered for folks shorter than 6’. Perhaps a tractor or ATV/UTV mounted blower would be best.
Honestly, the steering wasn’t that great. Except for turning 180 degrees, the controls were either too sensitive, or not enough, to make course corrections in a straight line. Mine still required muscling it around. See if you can try one before upgrading.
The steering is great for moving the machine around with it shut off. Also great in transport mode(with the bucket up). With the bucket up, you can spin it any which way effortlessly. When clearing snow with the bucket down, the steering is not much use due to friction. That's the same with any snowblower. I would never buy a snowblower without power steering.
I was just in robinsons hardware ,and wait till u see the new honda snowblowers ,i assume they are new ,they are massive ,look like little tanks ,i didnt want to even ask how much they are ,they gotta be over ten grand ,they are as big as a skid steer
Others have commented about the issues using one of these being a taller person, can I ask how tall you are and did you find the height of the controls comfortable?
I am about 6'2". The controls could have been an inch or so higher. I sold this unit years ago and went with a Bercomac for my UTV. I now also have an Ariens Deluxe 30 that came with a house purchase. The controls on it seem a bit taller, but there is a gap of 4 years between machines, so I can't confirm that.
Thank you..and thanks for checking out the video. Please be sure to check out some of our others, including ones featuring the replacement to this Honda.
Very true! Although I just sold this machine. It had a good run; just not big enough for the area I am clearing. Although - the machine I replaced it with is still powered by a Honda! ;)
UPDATE - the Honda is gone! Check out the latest video - ruclips.net/video/K4d0vXwSoJA/видео.html
New video of the Honda's replacement coming soon.

Agree 100%. After spending an hour clearing everything, my back is fatigued. It is really quite annoying. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Nothings better then a day of blowing snow
I would agree, except on a windy day when no matter which way you point the chute, it seems to blow back on you.
My old Arian cleans down to the pavement in one pass

Nice spot you got there! Those Honda snowblowers are awesome!

I look forward to that video!
If you haven't already seen it, the video I mention above is posted. I added a link to this video at 4:51.
I'm 6'5" any snow blowers you'd recommend easy for our heights?

Have you looked at any from Yamaha or some of the over seas brands?
@@S_man89 i just went much bigger with bobcat and blower
@@snjspring nice!
Lol don’t know why I’m here but this is a really good video production
LOL! Well... welcome and thank you!
Honda’s are amazing. I’m debating on selling my older 1332 and buying the newer one you got with the auto turn.

The “BEST” snowblowers on the market!

I’m intrigued. I know at the time I purchased my 1332, the top model was a hybrid gas/electric that was stupid expensive. It was huge.
I looked it up ,it’s a hybrid and it’s a little over 8 grand
Wow. That is more than I paid for the Berco. Of course, the Berco didn’t come with the required side-by-side to push it!

@@RuralMontanaLiving thanks for the response
How this track-drive machine was doing in hilly surface?
That’s a nice operation there in Montana.
Thank you..and thanks for checking out the video. Please be sure to check out some of our others, including ones featuring the replacement to this Honda.
Does it suited for a steep slope
Depends on the slope, but my guess is that it will be fine.
Can't beat a Honda

You must be nearby me :>
You never know..
well i am close enough to enjoy lake mary ronan every year so close enough for govt work
It is a beautiful area, tucked back in the valley away from Flathead Lake. It was a perfect place to stop for our first night on the road.
Love mine but they are designed for short people and very expensive
Agree on both points. Although they hold their value VERY well. I owned mine for 4 years and sold it for only $900 less than what I paid.
