      there is a anti-theft solution, implement something like this: ruclips.net/video/MFzDaBzBlL0/видео.html ;)

      I disagree and as a computer enthusiast and biker, I am near constructing a keyless ignition system/immobiliser based on your mobile phone as the key, and presently working on the financial security system based on "MY VOICE IS MY PASSWORD".
      On a funny note, Cortana on my windows 10 asks me to rate the places I have been as she tracks my progress and even my average mph and I didn`t even put that into the programming lol.
      Unlike other immobilisers where they rely on a physical electrical circuit that can in time be bypassed I have made your phone part of the ECU and A physical completion of the electrical circuit, this I am sure will be the way forward in protecting our bikes and will render theft to selling parts only! as the bike as a whole will be untenable and may I add the bike will be as traceable as typing FIND MY DEVICE!! as this will be integrated into the bikes electrical system.
      WATCH THIS SPACE:) AS i Think this is about time we protect our investments

    Bring back 2 strokes. I can only imagine how much better they would be today if they were still being developed. I'm sure an old one would still hold its own, if not embarrass these modern 4 strokes. Oh and the noise 👌

      2 strokes are crap. they all sound the same like honestly the same. 2 strokes 250s or higher yeah maybe but a 125? iv ridden a rgv 150 and that thing has no torque at all and goes through alot of fuel for the size. I think learner bikes are good but I honestly think learner bikes under 250 are pointless. They struggle to go high way speeds and often on days with decent wind you will be pinned just to go 100kmph. What they need to do is make 250-300cc size triples with the balance of torque and top end. I dont think anyone should really start on a 600 but I do think 150s and 125's are so pointless its pretty much buy it and learn the absolute basics and then after a week or 2 you need a 250. Iv done a 250-300km ride on a FXR 150. its a 150cc single with 20hp and that was shit. cant overtake and you are praying for a tail wind otherwise you will be pinning it to go 100kmph and thats from a guy that weighs 62kg and if you do have a tail wind and you need to over take then you better wish you have a passing lane atleast half a km long and a good run up otherwise you wont make it. to sum this up 125s-150s pointless things that no one should start on unless they are rich and can buy a new bike a few weeks later. 250s-300s good to start on half enough power for the learner and can last a few months although will get bored pretty quick but unlike 125s and 150s can actually travel on it if you wanted to. 600s massive power increse, massive torque increase, you get used to the power over a month or so and will want something faster but unlike a 250 you dont need something faster. 1000s the jump from a 600 to a 1000 isnt as much as you think its pretty much from what it feels a somewhat decent increase in top end and then alot more torque and torque that starts from way low down. pretty much you will be lucky if you can power wheelie a super sport 600 in first from power alone and if it does its going to be around 10,000 it comes up but on a litre bike it will come up 1st-2nd and sometimes 3rd and it will come up from like 4,000 in 1st half throttle. you ride a 600 then go back to a 250 its fucking slow and gutless. you ride a 1000 and go back to a 600 and less it has less power and torque but you never think its slow its still fast as fuck.

    What a killer little bike! I had a CBF125 and beat the living hell out of it. I loved every second. If it wasn't for that emaciated piece of junk I probably would not have transitioned into riding road bikes as well. I am happy to see the new crop of bikes are giving young riders the tools they need to learn to ride properly. Its certainly a bike I would happily put in my garage. Hell! I would do a track day on one!

      People still ride Tzr 125s and there a still a fair few 2 stroke 125s/50cc bikes out there. It's a common sight for me to see a learner 2 stroke around and about. They shit on any 4 stroke 125 out there and possibly beat some of the 300s/250s. The main issue with 2 strokes is the shear unreliability, partly because of the age but it puts off younger riders because they want something they can just hop on and know it will run. But like you say most will not experience the shit that comes with a 2 stroke :D

    66 MPG on a track is damn good. One track rider with a CBR 250R managed to get 26 MPG... I wish we got it here in the U.S.! V-twin definitely wins cool points for the dragster 125, we also don't have ANY v-twin 125s in the U.S., and even the 250cc V-twin selection is pretty lacking.

    the 150 version of this 125 can reach 148 kph in reasonable straight (clocked at test ride session in sentul) and few weeks after that suzuki hold a OMR event the bike is still stock the different is only at the slick tires, some parts stripped and racing exhaust, the rest is stock, the bike reach 160 kph that day, and trust me, sentul's main straight is relatively short.

    • @ventisette.

    125s are great fun around town etc. Soon as you're out on A/B roads, it's torture. Especially if you're old enough to ride a bigger bike (which the majority of riders are). I started riding in March this year at 24 years old (bought a new YZF-R125). Outgrew the bike in about two weeks. Wanked around and didn't get my full license till about a month ago. Now on an MT09 and I couldn't be happier. Jumped from 8hp to just under 120 :p

    • @garrygarry3371
      @garrygarry3371 6 лет назад

      A A
      And in a months time you'll want to sell that!! Went to the gp the other week and a mate has just got the mt09 couldn't keep up with a 99r6, 99 zx9r it's nuts to think Yamaha made a 900 that tops out at 129.

    • @sighfly2928
      @sighfly2928 6 лет назад

      Garry Garry yeah mt09 isn't for the track. That's one of the reasons I chose it. The supersports urge you to go faster don't they? but the wind resistance on the MT keeps you in check + I like how you don't have to work hard to find to the torque. I'll probably keep the MT and get a 2008/09 gen r6 :D for the track. Also another downside to the MT is the tank size and fuel comp. I'm spending double what I did on the r125 for the same mileage.

    • @jbird330
      @jbird330 6 лет назад +2

      I use a mt-125 on a daily basis, even though I have much bigger cc bikes, and love the way it can be utilised, even on motorways I don't feel underpowered, it's not allways about power... and I've held my license for 30 yrs this month...

    • @sighfly2928
      @sighfly2928 6 лет назад

      jbird330 surely you must feel underpowered on the motorway? You'd probably (dependent on your weight) have to be giving it full beans just to maintain the national limit right? And no chance of touching 70 on an incline. But I do agree the 125s are great for town/city riding. Just out of interest, have you test ridden an MT07 or 09? It took me about 2-3 days to learn the dimensions of the MT for filtering (which I have to do on a daily basis on a commute through London). It feels almost as agile as an r125. It's weird, but I think jumping from a mini supersports prepares you much better for a larger CC bike than jumping from an upright 125. The fact that I'm now much more upright and on bigger rubber actually makes riding much easier (even though the MT09 is about 50kg heavier than a 125). It's just as good filtering through small gaps too.

    • @jbird330
      @jbird330 6 лет назад +1

      A A what a well informed and interesting answer, nice to see that not all the people on you tube are idiots. I am very light, and with a few small modifications I find I can hold 75 mph (gps verified not speedo) no problem, yes your quite right I'm touching full whack but these bikes are built to be thrashed by teenagers, with little maintenance, so I have found no problems with reliability. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my blasts on my other bikes but I've got to say this little bike is a revelation to me. It's good to hear that your enjoying your ride and wish you well my friend.....

    Nothing has ever and will never get close to an aprilia RS125 when it comes to go gusset hunting on. Even if it was released now as it was back then. This gsxr 125 does look good I'll give it that....probably a tad more reliable as well

    The yzf r125 is probably the most full, big looking 125. The cbr and gsxr are much smaller with seatheight and they look small. Not sure what the seating position is like on this bike but the cbr is basically an upright bike and the yzf is a leant over sport bike.

      LeOnMoTo Yeah I didn't quite get why all the comments are saying £4k is too much. They are never going to buy a new bike anyway so who cares, if people wanna pay £4k then let them and the rest of us can be them used 2 years later.
      Like you said if people think bikes are expensive then I doubt they drive a car. You can buy a top of the range bike brand new for the price of a 5 year old Prius.

    Looks bob on but if you're only using it to progress to bigger bikes then save your cash and get a dirty 2 stroke. I had an RS 125 eztrema back in the day. I know they may not be as reliable as a 4 stroke but they're definitely more fun and you'll learn more about your bike after rebuilding the Piston for the millionth time.

    I had the 150cc version from 2017 to 2019. I think it's a good bike, but the pillion seat is like a torture device than anything. You can't sit there for more than 5 minutes without hurting your butt and tailbone unless you're really small, like 5'2" or smaller.

    Bought one 6 days ago... GP COLOURS
    Best 125cc bike for short riders as I’m only 5’6
    Comparing my last 125cc
    PRE ABS.. 14plate. YZF R125.
    This SUZUKI is far superior in both handling and features wise.
    Admittedly there is room for improvement such as..
    Faster and Higher speed to beat every 125cc new or old.
    Bluetooth enable console.
    Superior Anti theft system
    Insurance approved Alarm and immobiliser as standard.
    More upgradable / Performance parts availability
    All in all a brilliant bike to complete with the Big names Top 125 bikes
    Not a bad attempt by Suzuki considering they haven’t had a 125cc for ages.
    Better still I got a Whole £500 off the list price.
    Infact ... £3600 on the road.
    A BARGAIN :p
