As someone who's loved the original game since day one, I'm enjoying the sequel a lot. The game does have issues and things I personally don't like, but they don't ruin the experience for me.
I feel like I’m in the same boat as you pretty much. It’s not perfect, but nothing game breaking or experience ruining has happened. Have you been playing on PC or Console?

@@samtheashen PC version. Seems to a huge problem since launch.
@@corporateturtle6005 that’s fair, and really unfortunate. I had super high hopes for DD2, and I would guess there’s more PC players overall which totally kills a huge part of their audience.. I seriously hope it gets fixed, properly optimized but I’m not sure what to expect.
