I can’t be alone in wanting a Victor Von Doom in this game, imagine if he was a strategist (healer) with crowd control and protection spells, not only a great character but would be so fun as a defensive healer who set up big plays for the team or punished greedy flankers
We prob won’t see doom as a playable character for a while as he’s the main villain for the story so they’re prob gonna have it play out before adding him. But it would be cool
I always say this: Comic book stuff like Marvel and DC have an untapped potential that I am always surprised that there isn't a single game the size of COD or Overwatch already. There are SO many characters that have their design and backstory done that the devs don't even need to think about. There are much better characters than the shallow Captain America that 99% of the world has never heard about and would absolutely fall in love with. And what do people love about "hero" shooters? There being a character you love playing -> variety is unlimited in comics. There is a unique hero or villain or antihero/vigilante or neutral character for EVERY person in the world. Rhino and Juggernaut are the characters I'd love to see. Wolverine too but I hope they depict him accurately because he's actually a small guy just 5'3 but the X-Men and Wolverine movies have made people see him as this big, tall dude. And I hope they make redhead characters actually redheads and not change them like Mary Jane and many others, although it's mostly DC who "deletes" redheads in new stuff. It's crazy how many redhead characters have been changed when their appearance is so striking and important to their character.
DC had many multiplayer games projects at some point (MMORPG and MOBA from the top of my head), only Injustice somewhat took off (parallel to MvC hah), which is a shame. We now have Multiversus, which for sure will be getting more DC characters, but something else would be nice too.

Plus with Kitty and Magik, you can get the shipping community talking because they are definitely a thing, the writers are just teasing us. They're definitely doing things to each other, just look at Magik's face when Kitty get's resurrected (look it up, you'll see it, that is not the face you make with your friends).

If I’m going to play this game is COMPLETELY dependent on how they monetize heroes. If they’re all free like they are in Overwatch, I’m jumping ship. But with how unbalanced the beta was, if there are heroes locked behind a paywall, then I just instantly give up, because I don’t want it to be pay to win, which Overwatch 2 at least isn’t anymore with the last update that made every character free for everyone like back in the Overwatch 1 days
I think a cool thing they could do with venom is that if your teammate is low you can give them the symbiote and if they get it it will give them better damage speed and tentacles and you just turn into Eddie Brock and still use tentacles

If I’m going to play this game is COMPLETELY dependent on how they monetize heroes. If they’re all free like they are in Overwatch, I’m jumping ship.
But with how unbalanced the beta was, if there are heroes locked behind a paywall, then I just instantly give up, because I don’t want it to be pay to win, which Overwatch 2 at least isn’t anymore with the last update that made every character free for everyone like back in the Overwatch 1 days
I love how well once again have the freedom to make our own comps. If u wanna run a broken comp & TRY to win every game that’s your prerogative 👍
I think a cool thing they could do with venom is that if your teammate is low you can give them the symbiote and if they get it it will give them better damage speed and tentacles and you just turn into Eddie Brock and still use tentacles
