On my GT3RS 991.2 I installed “air foilers” from Fabspeed - not for long hair but for air buffeting (particularly on track days driving windows down) and for buffeting at high speeds (up to 270 kph) they did an amazing job of essentially eliminating all buffeting (that drumming sound). Very brave of you to wear that wig!
I personally like air hitting my face with the top down and the windows down. I drive on many very hot days and warm days where some air hitting me is agreeable.
That was hilarious. Good on you for trying it! The opposite-window-up hack is great. Not intuitive...but it works! Do you have a video of the CarGraphics X-Pipe Racing exhaust installation on your Spyder that you mentioned? I'm still awaiting my Spyder allocation, but would like to install an after-market backbox as soon as I get my car. Thanks again for doing these videos. They're greatly appreciated!
Congrats to selecting a great car Jim! You will love it once it arrives. :) I will soon post an update on that setup. And why Im removing it. My recommendation for the Spyder is to go for a OPF/GPF delete either replacement pipes without filters and tune (unless you are in the US in which case you dont need a tube) or the revised filters from Cargraphic. Just replacing the backbox gives you a louder exhaust, but not always a better sound. If that makes sense. The X-pipe gave me a lot of drone that made the car hard to drive on highways.
@@WheelsToys Thanks very much and fully understand what you describe above. All very interesting. I've read a lot on Rennlist and it seems many people are replacing BOTH...the over-axle pipes AND the backbox for the best overall sound. I'm anxious to hear about your experience with your backbox-only setup, and your opinion/recommendations given the droning, etc you experienced...especially in view of the fact our OPF's here in the USA are unmonitored and thus we're essentially free to modify the over-axle pipes as necessary. Again...thanks for all your great videos!
Thanks for great content as before. Don’t think I’ll get the new parts - like the window if needed. Any chance of investigating the DSC software for the suspension?

Love the gold plated calculator watch!
It’s my favorite too! 🥰
That was very funny, man! I have a 986 and the principle of closing up the window on the opposite side works well with that too.

Well I don't have any hair so I'm OK. This video was hilarious 😂😂
I really enjoyed this. Thanks! :)
Why do I feel like this isn’t the only time he’s worn this wig LOL
I feel it made it worst lol . Anyway that doesn’t make me love this car one bit less. The best mode is a hat 🧢 Very easy to install
Just where a hat
All this to prove the AWE deflector doesn’t work on the spyder? :)
More to check if they did. They do work with the roof up, but nothing compares to the trick with one window down. 🤓
Hey don’t be too critical. it’s still informative to discover what changes dont work as well as what does work! It’s comedy science
