I have an RP and I am looking to get another body that can really achieve great video as well as being decent in photo mode. I was between the R6 Mark 2 and the R5, but it seems I will be getting a better bang for my buck with the R6 Mark 2. I mainly shoot events such as baptisms and parties and hopefully will get into sports photography, let me know if you have any suggestions on which one to get. thanks
Hey! Thank you man! I’ve never had the R5 but as If you don’t need 45mp for photos or 8k in video, then R6 mkii is the best choice I think! That’s what it came down to for my decision! Hope this helps :)

Since False Colours cannot be used with the view assist, does that matter?
True it can’t be used at the same time, View assist is nice to have but personally I don’t mind looking at a flat looking image cause I will expose using False colors or histogram or zebras and will keep an eye at exposure compensation but that’s me, some people might prefer to see colors and contrast right away when they record video
Sony a7IV or Canon R6mII?
For me it’s the R6ii cause the sony has a crop in 4k 60p

Hi! Yes the Mark II is lighter than the original R6 but it’s not "that" noticeable

As-salamu alaykum, j’ai les deux cameras et les deux produisent d’excellent video en 4k. Je préfère la R6 Mark II car c’est un capteur plein format (Full Frame) donc meilleur en basse lumière et plus d’effet de flou derrière un sujet (bokeh). Merci :)

What video features do you dislike about Canon r6Mll?
@@user-jp1iv1vi8f for video, probably the fact that the ibis still have a "wobble" effect with wide angle lens, also the fact that it does not have clog2

@@user-jp1iv1vi8f I don’t use hdrpq, clog3 is better and clog2 is better than clog3 but it’s not available in this camera.
