This belongs to the second wave of pickleball instruction, along with Cincola and pickleburner. It's a superb clip, but it's not the only game in town.
What makes this clip so important is that even as a low intermediate player, you can begin to form the habit of finding that position while dinking with your leg behind the paddle and your paddle tip down, _long_ before you even begin to train yourself on the aggressive wrist rotation, with the precise timing and strength required.
Wish I had known this two years ago when I was still a low intermediate.

I'm rated as a 4.5 level player and really appreciate your tips and drills. They've given me some insight on how to get to that next level (feels impossible to make the jump). I've been watching your videos for a while now and you can clearly see some improvement in your smoothness and technique. Keep it up and maybe see you on the courts one day!

This is one of my best shots already and I 100% agree with everything you talked about, you should talk about the off the bounce speedup on the 2 handed backhand, (another of my favorite shots) since it takes advantage of the same principle of holding the ball on the paddle and looking like your gonna dink cross court till the last second when you speed up down the line at the body or middle.

Hi Tanner, thanks so much for your really thoughtful videos. Would you be willing to make a longer-form video, like this one, but about counters? I can't figure out how to practice them and really improve, because I'm not sure what I should be thinking about other than "anticipate the speed up and have my paddle ready"
