Another great video! These "mistakes" are more nuanced than the typical ones by a lot of videos out there, more suitable to people like me who are decent players wanting to improve. Thank you so much
Great examples of things I do incorrectly daily, and more importantly tips on fixing. I’ll review this video a few times, and hopefully learn to fix at least one mistake! Cheers.
Number ONE is ALL that! I can't tell you how many of my clients do exactly what you demonstrated by pulling their paddle back toward their body with the forehand! Thank you! Now I need to go watch the rest of the video! lol Thanks Jordan! Love your content!
Learning to cover the center on cross courts after being told all the time forehand has the middle. Now just to get all my fellow players to get on the same page. we`ll get there...
I know I have the #1 problem (forehand when i should do backhand) but when the rally speeds up, my reflexes bring out the forehand. How can I break this habbit?
@@BrionesPickleball They looked like eucalyptus - messy trees that are an "invasive species." They have a habit of falling down too! Good job. And good job on the video - some good pointers.

Keep doing drills, and practice your backhand volleys on a wall!
You are so right on all of these points. Kinda like preaching to the choir.
Right on !
Thanks - I learned some new stuff, appreciate the footwork points on shuffle step
great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
#4 - drill with the Slam Master Pro and you can control your counters to firefights with PRECISION!
We definitely do NOT endorse the slam master, a total gimmick IMO.
This is why you never see any pros use it to actually warm up. Volleying on a wall is much better.

Unfortunately……. No 😢
These errors are indeed very common among beginners and intermediate players.
