Great stat breakdown of him smashing balls in the strike zone "shadows". I've seen Witt mis-swing pitches in the middle of the zone more recently than in those "shadows"😝

We really have the best player in the league in two different sports. We all know Mahomes is great and now Bobby is coming into form. A true 5 tool player and absolute pleasure to watch.

If they get in, they’re going a long way.
Their front four is outstanding, with two Aces in Ragans and Lugo, and two excellent two/three starters in Singer and Wacha.
The heart of their order is extremely productive and dangerous with Witt, Pasquantino, Perez, and Renfroe has been excellent for the last two months (after a horrible start).
Weakness is the bullpen. Erceg will be the Closer sooner rather than later, and it’ll be a huge upgrade.
It’s a scary team, and it’s absolutely for real. They did an amazing job getting Ragans for a song, and clearly did their homework on Lugo and Wacha.
Singer can be an ace personal opinion I’d say 3 aces
@@MaddoxGulleyBrady is so likable, I’m so glad he’s found success. It’s rare for homegrown pitchers in KC. I think he benefited a lot from having Greinke around a season and now these vets. Look up to the letter he wrote his parents on here if you want to like him even more. And keep in mind it’s before much success in the show. Hard not to love the Singer

Still burns me the Mets stupid myopic ex-GM Brodie Van Wagenen let Zack Wheeler walk to despised rival the Phillies for nothing & ex-GM Billy Eppler let Lugo walk for nothing too. Why they kept him in the pen despite his success there is beyond me as he has a starter’s mix of pitches not a reliever mix. Relievers usually go with 2-3 pitches while starters can have 4-5+ pitches. Lugo has 9 most of which are plus offerings. Filthy.
In fact the Mets could field quite a rotation with the starters they’ve let walk in recent years

@kenjimapes Brady Singer is one of the best pitchers right now and has three pitches basically. Really he only uses 2 most of the time. Should he be a reliever or starter?
Honestly, it seems JJ Piccolo was the only GM in baseball who realized how good Lugo really is.
Between that and getting Ragans for half a season of Chapman, Piccolo has been sensational lately.
@@JTI92he would kill it as a closer. We all can see MacArthur is not the answer in that role.
