Liza Maldonado thank you! Practicality is crucial. I think of it like makeup, the decor should enhance, not cover up. If the content of what I’m hauling around doesn’t have substance then I can’t justify it as a EDC.
Nice to see you back! Glad you’re feeling better and sharing your notebook. You’ve stayed in your b6 slim quite a long time. I’ve been in a Midori standard brown for 5 years. Although I have tried countless other planners/notebooks I always go back to that one. It’s my comfort place I guess. Can’t wait to see what you have planned next!
Thank you! You know, I do love my standard size notebook that I keep in a wallet at home. It's great for brain-dump style lists and notes. I have a little preview of that on my Instagram, but the B6 slim is too perfect for my every day carry. I think I'll be sticking with it for a while :-)
Welcome back. This is a nice set up ... if you order a new plastic card holder ,put some packing tape on top and bottom to give it some structure against the elastic ..
Great presentation Shea. Sorry about the coffee spill but think of it as adding character to the chocolate brown? lol. I do like that color creme and I'm thinking of getting the Weeks cover next year. Love your self care insert idea; I could use that for myself for sure. TYFS X
@@shearivers Beautifully too! Its all go girl lol; Good news for me; CS BB on its way! I'll have to figure out how to video it to share; did you give up on your PP? X
Cynthia as an edc, yea, but it’s still on my shelf ready to use around home. The self care insert is a life changer! Mostly because it reminds me to incorporate those practices into my day to day hustle, rather than just running around mindlessly marking tasks off.
@@shearivers I love this and it keeps us focused on what is really important; I hope you touch on this some more without sharing your personal details but rather your thoughts. TYFS always X
Nice notebook! It looks so much like my personal size. I’ve never owned a B6 or slim. It looks like a good size for an EDC. Thanks for sharing the tip on “rolling out” a coffee spill.
Shea Rivers can you please share more on your thoughts about the B6 vs. the Personal size? Trying to decide if I should downsize from my A5, but not sure how low I can go!
Hi Shea, I am considering the B6 Slim now and wondering if you are still in yours and how it is working out? I still have my Pocket Plus and Wide but haven't fully taken to either one. I am thinking more of a journal size but comfortable enough to take on the go too. I'm hoping you will do another update on yours? Thank you in advance always, Cynthia
Hey Cynthia, I just realized that I may not have replied to this one yet? Sometimes YT erases my replies, but I'm sorry if I missed it. I'm still in the B6 slim, yes, and I love it. Although, I've technically changed the cover to a personal size ring-bound that I just removed the rings from and keep my B6 inserts in. It's like a wider B6 slim cover and I really like the extra pen room. I actually journal in a regular B6, so the slim is a really functional, on-the-go step down from that size.
@@shearivers OMG Shea, Thank you for finding my message xoxo. I actually went with a B6 Slim Folio from Eberhart Studios. I love it but after the excitement worn off, I'm losing interest as I never really know what to journal about because all I do is work and sleep LOL. However, I'm considering the size in a Planner rather than Folio. Please do an update in yours as I relate easily to your style and look forward to your ideas. Thank you in advance X
Your setup is really pretty and functional! also, i don't expect you to know, but where did you get that bigger washi with the flower pattern? i think its gorgeous!
Really enjoyed your video. I am in a personal black creme, but have been wondering about switching to a B6 slim. How do you like yours? I was in a B6, but it was just too much to carry, I am never far from my planner. I also really liked your sticky note page in the front. I am always losing where I put my notes in my planner.
I love your videos. So soothing. I pray all is well and that you're still keeping up with your journal journey😌
I love your videos. I like how you put your planners to good use and it’s not all decorations.

Sylvia From Wright Your Life thanks 🙏🏻.. it really is a perfect size for functionality
Can't wait for another flip!!!!! Your my fav!
Brandi Mullins should be coming soon!
Hopefully you can do an update of your set up. I totally relate to your style.
I've really been trying to get around to it! Hopefully soon :-)

Marcell Hobbs thanks! It’s only slightly taller than the personal, but wider. I moved out of my personal into this and it’s been a notable difference.

Creme is just a beautiful leather!
Andrea Ann it really is! And so supple too.

Hi Brandi!! Sorry it's been so long. It's been a crazy year for me. Hopefully I won't be away so long this time :-D

Soltrajik thanks ☺️ ..I actually got that from a set at Michael’s

Thanks :-) ...My transition from personal to a b6 slim was a total win for me. Now I'm hooked on the b6's (slim for planning, full for journaling).
So is there a difference in size between personal and b6 slim?
There is. They’re practically the same height, but the b6 slim is just a littler wider than the personal.
