  • Here are some pros and cons to both of my favorite TN sizes. Maybe this will help YOU decide if you’re in the process of choosing between the two.

    I’m watching your video in 2024 because I also like to have everything in one place and loving both sizes I keep jumping from one to the other! 😂 it didn’t help me decide but it makes a difference to find people who have the same struggle 😅 Great video, very clear and structure, the best I could find on this very specific topic! Thank you ❤

      I agree…just knowing others have the same struggle helps! 😄
      Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate hearing your remarks about the video.

    I switched to B6 slim and use the MD Midori inserts. The paper is delicious and they are lightweight. I use the grid for journaling. Yoseka Stationery in NY carries the entire line. They are wonderful to work with!

      Ooo, that is good to know. I’ll look them up. Thank you! 🧡What were you using before you switched? I really enjoy both sizes.

      Gail’s Bookish Things I started with a standard, loved it too. It just felt a little heavy for an EDC. I prefer the narrow TNs over the squarish ones. 🤷‍♀️

    I am right there with you....both sizes are so nice, but B6 Slim is easier to grab. All of your covers are amazing!! ChicSparrow always has the most beautiful colors. I'm trying to keep from purchasing the Julian Alps. lol

    I just cut the height of standard inserts to fit my b6 slim. Then it's not a problem to find a selection of cheaper inserts

    I cut down the midori brand inserts, its really easy to do and it's maybe less than a inch to cut. The width is the same as the standard notebook by doing this so I keep that little bit extra space than the b6 slim cafe notes provides!

      That really is a good idea. I need to reminder that. 👍🏻🧡

      What do you use to cut them? A scissors or a paper cutter?

    • @Blissfulthings
      @Blissfulthings 3 года назад +1

      I have a large paper cutter and I open the insert flat 😊

      I cut mine down with a box cutter and a steel ruler as a guide. I make my own inserts with different kinds of paper. I also cut down composition notebooks to various sizes to fit my covers. Works beautifully!

    Have you tried Midori standard? It is much lighter than Chic Sparrow and more portable?

    • @gailsbookishthings5191
      @gailsbookishthings5191  4 года назад

      TheGrochow I know about them but have never tried one. Thanks for the suggestion. 😃

      TheGrochow since you mentioned this, I keep seeing them pop up here and there...it’s very tempting to try it out!😄

    How hard is to get notebooks for b6 slim. I think it’s easier to find b6. If I buy in this size notebook I want the notebook paper to be available.

      That’s a really good point. A few people commented above saying that they just buy the standard/narrow size and cut some length of of them. I buy b6 slim notebooks though from
      Etsy vendors such as yellow paper house or paper penguin. I bought a nanami cafe notes as well off Amazon for my b6 slim folio.
      I’m sorry I missed your comment earlier...I don’t think I’m getting all my notifications when they’re posted and happen to notice them later. 😩🧡
