Holy balls bro you are the one. You killed the series so much quicker than I expected Regardless of the console, only having one Show Your Love choke before the FC is really good. I'm currently at 3 Show Your Love chokes and still no FC. Edit for anyone who hasn't seen: I FC'd ITO twice now lmao
That's super rough, at least it means you must be pretty good at 2A. During down time from fatigue of strumming practice I put a lot of effort into the outro and even 1A to try and make this as straight of a shot as possible (I had about a 99% success making it to 2A), which is why even the one outro choke hurt so much. This song is tough mentally because you have all this dead air after solo 2 where you're trying to not get ahead of yourself and lose your composure. Just for reference, my method is to elbow strum the Y (not ideal but I'm terrified of trying to one hand zigs with lower 3 fingers in that kind of situation), tap the 3 O on the zig, tap the B on the decending quad, do an alt triplet tap on the first part of the following GRY zig followed by a one hand zig (RYR), then alt tap the following trip before returning to tapping the highest note on the rest of the snake pattern.
You'll be here soon enough. Even though I never thought of it as competition, seeing your progress, especially on WoR prevented me from slouching too much. Thanks as always.

I don't think I'll be pursuing beyond what I had (perhaps GH3 DLC on vanilla PC), the thought of paying hundreds of dollars to play more filler doesn't seem too enticing. I am curious though what other noteworthy DLCs even exist beyond WT, my next upload is the last of my DLC and afaik the worst of its game (GH5), but aside from that I really don't know what particularly difficult stuff exists, let alone that competes with Devil/Virtuoso/DF/Detonation/Modern Hits/Banjos. I went through it a bit at 32:30, but essentially I just don't see much of a point since the games are so intrinsically flawed due to the lag calibration issue. Especially now having used it on Yes We Can, it is not an enjoyable experience in the slightest and doesn't seem worth it to put that kind of effort into scores that can be trivially beaten on certain songs.

My man 💪 I knew this day would come ever since I discovered your channel last year! Less goooooooo! Man this inspires me to try and get better at all these games too. Is it possible to FSFC using just the PS2 versions of the games (obviously I'd use my 360 for GHWoR), or are there weird engine differences that would make it more difficult on PS2? I'm just a sucker for my SG guitar and I play best on PS2.
I prefer the SG as well, but while I don't have any real experience with the series on PS2 beyond GH3 (which has been at least 15 years ago) besides SH Flames, I can say just from that singular experience the load times alone on later PS2 titles likely make it not worth. I also remember having a big difference in input lag between practice mode and runs on SH due to what I can only theorize is the game chugging very hard. There's likely nothing actually stopping you, I'm pretty sure almost everything has been FC'd on PS2 individually and it may be something unique to go for if that's your thing, but to me doing all the post GH3 titles, pairing the massive amount of filler in titles like GH5 with the atrocious load times sounds like having your teeth pulled.
@EvilApple567 Everything you said is 100% facts. GHWT onwards on PS2 is pretty atrocious, especially when it comes to the unbelievably long load times. Even worse is that GHM, GHSH, GH5, and BH all run at 30fps during regular play (though they keep to 60fps during practice mode, which is probably what you were talking about earlier). I just noticed that I always miss notes that I feel like I shouldn't have when I use my XPlorer on my 360 (and when I use my XPlorer on PS2 since for some reason it's actually 100% compatible with GHWT onwards). Do you recommend using a modded guitar of some sort? I know I've previously seen you use a Les Paul, but that was literally over a decade ago, and I can't remember what you're using now.
@@mazda9624 Used standard Xplorer for everything on Xbox, while unusable for score chasing it is perfectly suitable for FCs imo. Avoiding the detachable neck issues with the les paul is the biggest benefit, but I don't have experience with any post GH3 controller besides WoR which I had a few issues with (top of neck breaking off, start button sticking/malfunctioning, early use overstrums and squeaky strum bar). The biggest issue I've had with the Xplorer is on these strumming songs, where the bar is so small it's very difficult to get a good grip on it, and limits your potential grip methods. Crazy to hear SH runs at 30, makes sense in hindsight but I didn't think any mainline games hit that since frame rate is so integral to the experience of these games in multiple ways.

Nah, no more scrolls aside from what I've shown in my FGFC vids, Devil, and my next upload. Maybe I'll find the GH1 pics someday (probably not), but I have no intention (at least atm) of redoing any of it, same with Metallica which was one of my earlier FGFCs but doesn't have a setlist due to hard drive migrations. I also don't have any real GH2 proofs ironically aside from uploads, so there's way too many holes for me to care or bother. I know I FC'd every song in the series, and that's all that matters to me :) Thanks for the supportive comments this past year, but I would decline any compensation regardless.

This is bar for bar my outro method. You can make the outro extremely consistent this way.
