At first im kinda annoyed maybe because i used to hear a reactors saying good things about Filipino artist and here you are being so honest of whatever things you need to say #nofilter. Filipinos are highly influenced by 90's divas because of Karaoke. Growing up, the hardest songs were sung by our family members during parties. Usually most of the parties in the PH includes a karaoke machine and almost all of the houses have a karaoke CD. We just love singing even if we don't have the voice for it. 😂

Apologies on behalf of Filipinos who gets annoyed at you for pausing your videos. You're doing a great job in my opinion. A lot of reactors do pause and create their opinion on what they've seen and heard. Some people are just impatient and rude.

This is an example where getting too technical loses what the essence of music is. And that is to evoke emotions. But because the reactor was so focused on technicalities, he failed to mention how her vocal artistry, the way she vocalized the song elements to put the emotions into full effect.

Filipinos tend to have 2 influences for voice: a national one + a foreigner. Regine the Queen is the national one. Mariah is the foreign one.

We had this thing on our school where we do some broadway musicals for school events and she got to play Kim from Miss Saigon and in my batch (because I am older than her) I did Les Miserables and 9 to 5 the musical but not as a lead role. Wish I have videos to share but I don't but yeah... we are all proud of her on winning the contest. I tried browsing through all of the comments to see if anyone told you this performance is from a (popular) amateur singing competition where she dominated the competition, my point in mentioning this is she is not a professional singer yet but she wowed a lot of people. Kudos for actually going through each comments. That is so cool. I actually got dizzy scrolling through all comments I really appreciate you going through each one of them. And yes, some people are just trollers or die hard fanatics of their favorite singers that they cannot accept any negative comments about their idol singers.
