Dash Cam fitted today, it required the removal of the glove compartment. Piggybacked one of the 7.5 fuses, cable all tucked away one happy granddaughter thanks again. .. atvb t ..
Hi there, I believe the lighting on the 500 works through modules rather than traditional fused circuits, therefore you need to find the fuse associated with the right control module. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Ross
Thank you for the informative video,I have a hard wired camera in my car I not sure if the fuse has gone as the camera isn’t working handbook for it says to try fuse first have you any idea where I would look for the fuse it’s a 2 amp not sure what it looks like even lol Thanks for any help 😊
Any idea where the daytime running lights fuse is, my daytime lights are switched on on the menu, the bulbs are good and both don't work....is there a fuse
Hi there, I believe there would be a lighting control module so it may be more than a fuse. However I looked around and found someone had a similar issue he said they were on previously too: In the menu, when you select Daytime lights you have to pause for a couple of seconds at the blank. When you do that, the On will appear and shortly after that the lights too. Then you can get out of the menu.
No worries at all thanks for watching, I would imagine that is the fuse for the OBD2 system itself, however there is no mention of it in the owners hand book. I have actually come across cars before where the dealers have removed the fuse to the OBD system before to stop others being able to diagnose issues.
Hi Vince, hard to say without looking it could be a number of things like, switch, motor, fuse, wiring. Unfortunately you will need to go through a process of elimination. I would suggest testing the voltage at the motor first. Regards Ross
I believe the traction control comes from one of the control modules which would be shared with other systems, however I am not too sure which fuse would support it. Sorry I cannot be more help. Ross
Hi Al, I believe most of the lights run through an LCM (lighting control module) and I would expect the license plate fuse would be powered from Fuse 32 in the cabin fusebox, Are you sure its a fuse issue with the light?
