Mark did a great job on this one, nice to see new presenters on the channel. Also the new website design could use some serious revision, it feels a lot worse to use than the previous version.
Hey guys, can someone explain which options is better between the two and why: 1. transfer points from my AMEX to Aeroplan and use aeroplan points to buy plane tickets, or 2. buy plane ticket and use AMEX points as a statement credit to retroactively pay for them thank you in advance!
Usually option one, but in certain circumstances, a slight modification of option two: the Fixed Points Travel Program - not statement credits. princeoftravel.com/points-programs/american-express-membership-rewards/ -Steve
Hello. Do you feel its a good choice to transfer Marriott points to JAL Mileage bank to fly their 1st class or Business class? Unless I am reading into I wrong I feel like I would receive better value by transferring to JAL than using them for 1 night stay at an Edition or Ritz Carlton.
I’m new to the credit card travel/points game. I just got accepted for the Amex Cobalt last week and am waiting for its arrival. How soon can I apply for another card? Which card currently has the best value and signup bonus and rewards? I can easily meet my spend with the Cobalt for the monthly bonus. And in a few months I plan on spending a lot during the holidays with Black Friday, Christmas and a big trip planned. I can meet another cards spend of at least 6k in 90 days on top of the min spend for the cobalt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !
U young ones talk toooo fast Are u teaching or just talking Hope u consider teaching at a speed rate that others can understand Everyone understands u understand the methods thats why ur ppl talk fast However just remember teach as if its someone’s 1st day at a job n ur trying to grasp every duties instructed n working at a pace thats beginning stage. Appreciate everything u teach. 😊
I have found no one that all credit cards offer a PAD options. This is a form you fill out giving your bank account number so you can either pay the entire balance or just a minimum payment. Doing this physiologically gives you self discipline not to go over what you can afford. After all, points are not good value if you keep a balance. If you need to have a balance, use a good credit line but always pay the entire balance. This way you get ahead of the points/cash back game.
First video that I might have to slow down instead of speed up

Very insightful, thanks for the content. Also, Mark is a great addition to the channel.
Grear content Mark! But maybe consider taking it a bit slower for some newbies (like myself) - the speed was hard to keep up with
can we get a video on dynamic pricing for international flights for both business and economy
Your new website sucks.

goodies!
Does this work in America??
Yes, miles and points knowledge are pretty universal. Most techniques are useable in the US also.

@@PrinceofTravelDon’t forget CIBC Aventura at $1.25 / point. I think I’d be a millionaire if this was true ;)

ACTUALLY?
You said "a dollar twenty five per point" - I believe you meant "a cent twenty five per point" :)
Yes, 1 point 2-5 cent (1.25¢) per point
Background music is annoying. Please get rid of it.
If you’re not happy, leave
