Domestic partnerships such as flights with 5T are also valuable. Since it's domestic, you can book the entire $2,300 Arctic Capital Express on just 12.5K points. I'm doing it later this year. I have yet to see a vlog on this 4-stop route.
You can search and book online right on Air Canada's main site. We have a post with some more details on the process. princeoftravel.com/guides/aeroplan-stopovers/
Your content is always great and valuable. Is there a video or you still should make a video of the Asia miles or a demo of how to book partners with Aeroplan points?
Hi Daniel! There is a video about Asia Miles, however it is probably due for an update as some of their pricing has changed since it was released. It can be found here, however: youtube.pulse.ly/oblekiir7b An updated Asia Miles guide is available on our website in the meantime. princeoftravel.pulse.ly/9ym9qzvf4f Lastly, to book Aeroplan partners with points, you search the same as you would for any Air Canada flight, and if there are partner seats available on your desired route, they will show in the search results. Our Aeroplan guide provides some more details on that as well. princeoftravel.pulse.ly/qkyxwobrki Cheers!
@@PrinceofTravel thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll take a look, I'm sure they will be helpful, I look forward to an updated version of Asia miles, all the best!!!
Flying Blue business class isn't always 50K though. There are usually only a couple days per month available at that point level. Most are way higher - ie a range.
Is lay flat seating that good? I can sleep sitting up. We're heading to Spain (purchased) in Premium Economy and I'm using my eUpgrades to bid on Business... I'm also currently sitting on a lot of points I think (400,000?)
Can you get the welcome bonus on the RBC Avion Visa Platinum if you already have the RBC Avion Visa Infinite and got the welcome bonus there (taking into account the 190 rule) ?
I got a question. Do hard poles stay on your report for six years. If so, do you have to wait till those hard inquiries fall off your report if you have a lot of them also having too many credit cards stop you from getting credit because I’m thinking about getting the American Express cashback card, I would like to get it but I’m afraid it’s gonna get because I have a lot of cards already and hard pulls I haven’t made any new hard pulls the last four months
When I book with Air Canada it says "Earn 100% Aeroplan points and Status Qualifying Miles; choose a standard seat anytime at no charge.." That means I get 100% points for the amount of moneys I paid for the tickets or 100% points for the actual miles I travel by Air Canada?
Status Qualifying Dollars are earned based on the dollars you spend on flights ticketed by Air Canada (tickets starting with 014), Status Qualifying Miles (and points) are earned based on fare category and distance flown. princeoftravel.pulse.ly/nea0oc074k “Keep in mind that the amount of Aeroplan points you earn on a flight largely mirrors the amount of SQM earned, although it’s important to point out that these are two very different things.”
@@PrinceofTravel oh I didn't know, I got the amex green card and cibc aeroplan visa card (free one). What should I get next? And which one should I use daily?

I have enjoyed all the videos i've watched from you but it is still too much information for me to process. Do you offer any services to find me the best deal for 1 particular trip we want to be making with specific dates?
As an Aeroplan member I am never able to get the deals you claim are available. Most normal people cant have multiple loyalty plans and accumulate points at a reasonable rate to be able to redeem points for flights on multiple programs. Additionally, most people don't have the kind of flexibility with their life schedule to be able to maximize rewards benefits as you claim. It would be far more useful to subscribers for you to talk about one loyalty program in a video at a slower pace than jumping around about what can be done on multiple reward programs. Your videos would be more helpful if you were more focused! Sorry to be critical but I am meaning to be constructive...Cheers!
The only way to redeem reasonable points these days is to plan your dates around award availability. If you have fixed dates pretty much forget about using your points. Especially if you are stuck travelling at peak holiday times.
You need to research and try it yourself by logging in and looking at routes. Not everything can be covered in one video. I can attest to getting several deals from this channel over last 5 years.
I feel you pain, but there is no shortcut to a great deal. To put it in perspective I spend between 2-5 hours a week checking pricing, looking at specials, drilling into points options. It's an exhaustive process, which is why most people don't bother. I guess you have to really enjoy the hunt (and have the time/inclination to do so!)
Is there any website to view which routes have the points discount each month ? Planning to visit 2-3 countries in Europe later this year and it doesn’t really matter to me if the flight is from anywhere in canada.
The 2 main airlines program that offer monthly discount are Airfrance/KLM'sFlying Blue program, and Singapore Airlines' Krisflyer. So you may subscribe to their program newsletter, or you can read our monthly publication when they do release their monthly promo: For example for this month: princeoftravel.pulse.ly/oq6hiemlrs princeoftravel.pulse.ly/uaf9fzefjh or you can also join us on facebook to get notified when such articles are released: facebook.pulse.ly/csyjynmtw8
Always dropping value! Good reminder about the Aeroplan stopover option to squeeze even more value 💪
My score of the year so far is o/w HNL-YUL economy 10,100 points and 100 bucks tax. 787 service to Toronto, A330 to Montreal.
Thanks for always sharing amazing travel deals🥳🚀🛫

Let's just say, once you tried lie flat bed for long haul, you will not want to return to sleeping upright :)
