Probably trapper because he's still in 2016
Myers/Trapper/Freddy i think is fair for top 3
Edit : i posted that comment before the end of the video 🫥
Basement trapper 🌚
Trapper gets haste after placing a trap. That’s the most 2024 thing he can have. Myers on the other hand…
BHVR: bUt wE gAvE hIM 5% HasTe afTER placIng TrAp!!!
He should cause mending with his traps or hindering as base kit
Okay, hear me out.
You physically can't have a win streak with Skull Merchant because I'm sure killing bots doesn't count as a win.
Skull merchant 90% dc rate 🥶
Exactly and I still don't know why people DC against her it's not like it's the old skull merchant
@@neozer0992life’s too short to spend any of it playing against a skull merchant. I would rather play against a killer whose gameplay was just me filing their taxes for them
I play Skull Merchant a lot, and people DC maybe once in 5-6 games. This joke is so stupid and overused.
@@bloxer9563 more like 30% but yeah. Every thirx game you have at least one dc. Feels awful
Freddy really went from being a Nightmare to having nightmares.
DARN...
without really trying, i have an ongoing streak from like 10, i love freddy
It's so weird he came out and got the nerf hammer to oblivion and then he got a buff and he was considered a S to A+ tier killer and now he's a joke again.
That’s because snares are horrible & good survivors need 2 snares to be affected. Dream pallet Freddy is better.
Handholding will do that
Playing dredge is like doing cocaine. You have an insane high for your first few games as him but the longer you play you start feeling more and more decrepit as his glaring issues and inconsistencies start to show.
Speaking from experience!?!?
It's sad because they're a lot of fun! But the map & RNG makes or breaks the game for them. :C
@@notOtzdarva Depends, are you with police?
@@notOtzdarva LMAO
I have to agree. Even if i win with dredge i have to take a breather before queuing again 😂
Imagine asking a question in chat and then OTZ makes a whole video on it. Core memory
The viewer stopped by the stream today and said thanks, it was a very good question to be fair!!
when Otz said ,,what a great question" i instantly had some sort of ptsd attack and thought some poor viewer was about to be "kindly" reminded of the FAQ's existance that covers these sorts of questions
Never forget what happened the last time someone asked about a question answered by the FAQ :(
@@drunkengibberish1143 HE KILLED THEM?????????????????
4:20 - 4:30 That's very true, from my POV survivors don't necessarily give up against the strongest killers, they give up against those they find the most annoying. Doctor, Clown and Skull Merchant for example, they're all around mid tier but survivors give up against them because they find them boring and annoying to go against while a stronger killer like Blight who's more interactive doesn't get survivors who give up nearly as often.
My no-dc rule gets tested whenever I go against a clown, especially on a bad map
@@JayPredictable he's so boring
@@JayPredictable HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII JAYPREDICTABLE
@@dmitrivologoslav personally I don't find facing the clown boring, he has gimmicky and fun counterplays, BUT, in personal experience, their players tend to be a little unpleasant to play against (most of them let you bleed out slugging just because, they hit you on hook multiple times, toxic comments in postgame chat, bming in general)
Very true. For me it has to be pinhead.
Alright nah 0:55 you ain't gonna pretend you didn't just hit one of the best 360's ever
as soon as i saw that happen i came looking for a comment cuz he was just so nonchalant
Time was 0:45 for it, not 0:55
you talk like a 2017 internet teen
I try to do weird shit like that so often it's definitely a matter of time I get one haha.
@@makuIahaha 😐
The hardest streak to get is playing 3 Knight matches without encountering a bug
Fr😂
Twins
1 match bugless twins
Definitely skull merchant. It’d be hard to stay awake
hardest winstreak in DbD is probably the Fun Winstreak, how many games can you win _and_ have fun in, no raging or ranting? same rules as the usual, no offerings, no add-ons, you get it.
Back to that going "no bugs streak". How lucky you are? How many games you can play before any bug appear?
I bet luckiest highest score was 1...
Hardest streak is Otz without the support of his community, always giving this man spirit bomb energy
True!
I LOVE Dredge, such a great killer, great design, the cosemtics are unlimited - but games with him are either "4k with 3-5 gens remaining" or "4 man out, maybe 1 kill whilst camping endgame" - just so swingy
Its so sad because he's probably one of if not the best designed killer BHVR has made in every aspect, except for being so insanely map dependent.
@@darkodom I still enjoy playing him, I just need to remember that it will be a massacre for one side
@@darkodom it needs some qol touch ups for sure, but i v much agree
Trickster post-rework has been my personal nightmare, but part of that is a skill issue and part of that my inability to drop a bad chase.
Otz's mindset is so precious, probably one of the healthiest pvp player you could hope to play against. We need more people like this
It is a known fact that Otz is a Jesus of dbd
The deadhard for distance at 4:07 gave me heart palpations, god that perk was so fucked
Otz we love you and appreaciate all your struggles
Also kinda funny that Sadako went from hardest winstreak to so-easy-i-don't-want-to-do-it iirc
We did a 43 winstreak on first attempt when she was at her strongest! She really had a glow up.
@@notOtzdarva I’d like to hear your current opinions of her at some point if that doesn’t already exist somewhere. I love her but does feel currently (without addons) if survivors are at least somewhat on top of tapes it’s a struggle and she’s just a M1 killer but not sure how much of that is her current state or me being a noob.
@@Nervonous agreed, especially since current sadako doesn't really have many good videos analyzing her current state due to how (relatively) recently she got reworked
0:45 Otz hooking her would've been BM cuz he just killed her pride with that 360
I really wanted it to just be "What an AAMZING question chat, what an AMAZING question. It's in the FAQ" and the video cuts.
Otz PLEASE make more video like these, I really really like them! (Even as a seasoned Dbd veteran, I always like them! )
On Freddy i like the dream pallet add on more than snares and using the following perks discordance, coulrophobia, unnerving, and unforeseen for stealth which makes it easier to sneak up on them when i choose to
Freddy is so easy to play with the tinkerer perk
Thank you otz, i needed an upload from u today
“As nemesis if you dont get to tier 2 you arent even a real killer” is too true man
Imagine asking a question so good the streamer makes a full video out of it. Couldnt be me
I love my peep Dredge, but you're right. Maps dictate if a match is generally gonna be chill or hell. Lockers are such a nightmare that certain maps make me go "Guess we lose this one." For example, the Red Forest realm, there's almost no good lockers. Yamaoka, as you mentioned, is another. I've seen 1/3rd of the map have zero lockers. Funny enough, I've had matches on Sanctum where I literally had a five gen (as Bubba on one and Slinger on the other time), and that was a slaughter. I don't know why that happens, but I note it as well to say that maybe Behaviour could benefit from a small team dedicated to adjusting some of those procedural generation codes. Especially for lockers at the very least. I really don't wanna go to like... Borgo, and feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle.
all those old dead hard clips give me nightmares
Wow otz announcing his next 3 streak videos! 🎉
I was planning to attempt 50 win streaks on my own with all of the killers, starting off with Nightmare, and now I realize how big of a pain some of these killers will be.
I would actually love to see a video where otz and 3 others play against a nemesis and shut him down by all getting infected by the zombie at the start of the game
Question was so good he made a whole video about it
Your 50 winstreak on Myers though is the best to watch
Some killers require skill to win with. Other killers require the survivors to play imperfectly in order to win. For example, Myers becomes good when one of the survivors messes up and feeds him stalk, but you can't force them to make that mistake. I think that is the main difference between the killers that are easy to winstreak with and those that are difficult.
I'm so happy that you have 1m subs well deserved
Would love to see otz attempt a 50 escape streak with adept survivors and compare the differences
Completely agree with your comments on the dredge I love them as a killer but their bad maps are soo bad it makes the killer feel like a chore too play and limits alot of cool cut offs and map control can only hope they add more lockers too more advantagous spots they can utilise more.
This video makes me so happy cause I'm doing a dredge streak right now
Best DbD person there is, love your videos dude!
I recently did a stream where i tried getting a winstreak of 5 with bare trapper. At first it was hell, but once i threw away my moral compass it became considerably easier. Achieved, btw.
4:38 old dead hard jumpscare
I was thinking about killers without good chase powers, making it difficult to make a comeback.
Freddy, Myers, and Trapper, the 3 weakest killers, have little to no real chase. If any significant loss of pressure is made, there is no coming back from it.
With what I saw from Otz on twitch around November-December: Dredge, Dredge, and Dredge
Imma be real, otz. Im somehow addicted to your 50 Win Streak videos.
hey otz, this is friends. You really brighten up our days. we thank you
- Friends A.K.A the community
As a Dredge main I play him because I'm a gambling addict - every game is either the most fun match ever or malding simulator.
Tanuki for sure
Seeing Otz doing another killer streak always make me die inside a little bit. Every single one after Legion was really depressing, unhealthy and ill-advised.
I knew someone who did have a 56 win streak with Dredge, granted I think it was a green and yellow for most of it. The biggest caveat also being they were someone who wasn't a pro and didn't play that often so the people they went against were kind of bottom of barrel.
you see this a lot, these people with long win streaks never seem to show the end game screen in order to hide the survivors builds & the way the survivors play you know no one plays like that in generally high mmr
@@makuIa I mean, this person is one of my closest friends, and I did see most of it happen in a discord screen share call. The people she went against were not great, and neither is she, you could even call them baby survivors and that is he pretty damn bad due to missing an arm. But an accomplishment is an accomplishment~
this makes me want to try a winstreak on dredge just to make otz proud but i will most likely fall asleep playing that killer all day
gaming athlete is a really solid dredge main you should check him out. the remnant is your main power not the locker warping. shutting down loops as well as being in two places at once makes him a very solid at maintain map pressure.
"The remnant is your main power."
Then why does it have a 12 second cooldown? There's so many insanely powerful abilities like Blight's rush that have much more lenient cooldowns. It feels awful that you need a green add-on to bring it down to 8s.
@@notOtzdarva I don't know why does spirits recharge take 15 seconds or legion take 20 seconds of cooldown? If you can guarantee a health state on many loops like shack, bus or T and L walls, then you are better off than 50- 60% of the other killers. On top of that you have really solid map presence with the addition of your teleport.
I have a fun ghostface build that is chill and good!
- A nurses Calling
- Ruin
- Undying
- Surveillance
This build is almost stress-free but you still have to make the right plays.
Try nurses, sloppy, surge, and and death bound, hit and run like hell and find people that heal with death bound
@@jacobharper9236 that sounds like a fun build as well
Not to mention that with Ghost Face you used to be able to get revealed over obstacles due to stretched res back before they fixed it.
I've had matches on Ormond where an entire half of the map just straight up doesnt have lockers at all. I'm surprised people don't mention it.
Sadako is hard for consistent wins, but she also shares another big problem with Merchant. They both suffered from a lack of good tutorial content to help Survivors to overcome them in general games.
However, now their current iterations are out for a few months, and PixelBush made their huge Merchant guide, the tricks to beat these killers is reaching more and more of the general survivor player base. I'm getting more players keeping TVs and Drones off every day, so any win-streaking people want to do with these killers will be harder with every passing day.
I feel Xeno and Singularity would be a challenge. A lot of the match is dependant on the survivor's correctly using the tools they are given, and facing a team who actually know how to use flamethrowers well is a real challenge.
Surprised to not see Clown mentioned on this list.
I haven't got to see all the winstreaks live especially recently but I remember being there for Clown and how much of a struggle it seemed to be
Having to use tactics like using the default outfit to make players underestimate you and hitting on hook just to get the hook timer to activate faster was crazy, especially since a lot of the time it is actually what made the difference between winning and losing or so it seemed
Current clown is sorta busted. I'm cleaning house with him with no addons, I don't intentionally go for streaks but while doing his tome recently I'm pretty sure I got to like 20 something with little effort. Those yellow bottles, man- ppl underestimate them. RB + Batteries clown is a straight up menace.
Somehow the backpack build is extremely good on him if you bring the invigoration addons. I can consistently get ppl who have boil over to the basement from almost anywhere on most maps. It's nutty.
The killer buffs that killers got awhile ago definitely helped Clown a bit as well as the fact that Otz and among other DBD content creators have found more builds and have more info on how to use Clown optimally. He's definitely still not the strongest but now there's more info on him, people have started to realize how to use him properly.
@@aquila519yeah i feel as though i play clown more optimally, but unfortunately i still get clowns that spam the purple bottles and takes forever to catch up when in reality all they need is 1 yellow and 1 well placed purple
@@thepyrolez yeah good clowns usually understand how to use both bottles in chase. Hes an interesting killer. I suck against really good clowns as a survivor if they know what they're doing.
Clown was really hard (and had 1 insane game in the streak) but also had a really nice factor helping us; most people didn't understand the counterplay to yellow bottles yet (even less so than today).
Will we ever see the other win streaks? I unfortunately wasnt there for a lot of them and would love to see deathslinger and the rest of the killers even if the streak wasnt that long
This is an otzdarva video 🐔
Watching otz's auric cells go down by 1000 during the Freddy cut
Yo this is interesting, I gotta try the dredge 50 streak hes my main and honestly I think I could do it
Here's the build I tend to love running for him, granted I only have 500 hours so take this with a grain of salt, as less play time and probably no where near as good survivors I play against
First perk is "Darkness Revealed", not the greatest perk and could definitely be swapped out for something else, but the reason is for obviously aura reading near places you can tp to but also for being able to time grabbing someone right as they are locking a locker, when this happens it can save a lot of time that would have been spent in chase otherwise and give you very quick pressure.
Second perk is "Friends Till The End", this perk is insane for dredge as it makes snowballing so easy tp as close as you can to target and normally get the down from the exposed and keep jumping around every time this perk triggers. Also really good on dredge as if you know someone doesn't have distortion the main counter to this perk is hiding in lockers but as dredge you might just accidently find them in the locker when tping if you don't see their aura, has happened a few times to me feels so good.
Third perk is "Mind Breaker", this is arguably Dredge's best perk in my opinion as ALOT of players run sprint burst/lithe witch make getting away the second you hear lockers opening really easy, so having a way to counter this and prevent survivors from getting a lead on you is really nice.
And the last perk is "Overcharge", similar to darkness revealed this perk isn't anything crazy and is defiantly more preference than "good" so replacing with another gen perk is very viable. The reason for taking this perk is for the off chance a survivor fails the skill check so you get info and more gen progress is lost, and for the fact this perk makes untouched gens regress faster after a while helping a lot as from my experience survivors like bouncing around from gen to gen rather than focusing one or two when facing a dredge.
Gaming athlete is a CRAZY dredge. Definitely suggest checking out his stuff, very interesting play style
I’d like to shout out knight and singularity for similar reasons as the dredge. The knight’s power feels like it actively works against you a lot of the time and being infuriated just by all the bugs and stupid interactions makes playing him a long time hard and singularity is really an all in killer. While having a power that can compete with the likes of nurse, the EMP’s can make you go from being unstoppable to loosing all of your pressure in two seconds. Singularity really is a killer that I find making one or two mistakes with costs me entire matches even when playing so hard, despite how strong they are.
As a Nemesis main, i feel this.
5:55 seeing old dead hard almost gave me a heart attack
In another video "easiest top 3 killers to winstreak" Im waiting to see Kira Yoshikage 😎 and his KILLER QUEEN 🐱!
Dude was insane, kept winstreak for more than decade, but sadly then was dumped by toxic japanese squad.
Theres an amazing streamer and person out there called gamingatlethe who got 90ish winstreak on dredge if i remember correctly, but he was using the boat key and the otomarian addons
Dredge is my second main i love them so much. The sound design and gameplay feels nice. But I still don't understand why bhvr hasn't touched them. Haddie's Calendar should be Basekit. Certain maps no lockers for like most of the map like Shelter woods and most of the og maps like Autohaven (tho some are not that bad on that one) all of the macmillan estate ones and the farm ones are bad as welll. There are more that exist but I'll just say about 60% of maps have bad locker placements and about 20% have great ones. The other 20% are just fine placements. Whenever I tried a streak i was basically on a loss tiker as mmr got higher and yhe inevitable terrible map comes that conpletely cripples my power. The only saving grace is that dredge can work on maps that are usually pretty bad for most killers like the swamps because of his mobility but thst is about it.
thank you for the goodbye kiss otz
you know its a video question when its not in the FAQ
Love you Otz
one of the most surprising things to me, checking the winstreak playlist, he NEVER got one with Huntress.
he didn’t get to 50 wins but he has a video showing how he got to 18 with her
As a competent killer with over 4k hours across console and now PC, I feel that Myers is pretty good at doing streaks on, definitely not the hardest. (For more context, 80% killer main playing on steam in Australian servers.
For Myers, I have a build I run on him that I get consistent wins on and don't struggle too often (that also doesn''t require his tombstone or infinite add ons). I truly believe and stand by that my build on Myers elevates him as I win about 80% of my games as Myers with this build. It goes as follows:
- Double stalk addons (Green and brown ones)
- Surge, Coup De Grace, Bamboozle, and Fire Up
The main things you will notice is there being only one slowdown perk, and using fire up of all perks. While I admit a more meta perk would likely perform better on Myers, having this specific build helps apply insane pressure in chase that survivors don't expect early on. Let's go over why I like each perk:
- Surge is useful because it can apply to multiple generators at once, which i find useful as Myers because survivors are less likely to cling towards generators when you are in tier 3, alongside popping tier 3 on survivors allows for little distance from the main generator clusters, making it harder for survivors to get away from generators early. This is also especially effective on maps with 2 floors, which combines with Myer's innane stealth making for another good combo.
- Coup De Grace combines with Myer's already long tier 3 long to make looping and pallets very unsafe. With the recent buff which allows Coup to get 2 stacks per generator, Myers will get very effective value. This combines with his fast tier 3 vault speed, making you able to vault into a very long lunge often.
- Bamboozle is already a perk that is used quite often on Myers, it builds on his existing fast vault speed but also denies loops of their power, forcing early pallet drops or leaving the loop. Forcing a survivor to stay at a loop with Myers in tier 3 WITH coup creates great pressure.
- Fire Up is the unsong hero of this build. It pretty much combines with both his other chase perks to make chases last very short, allowing for MORE chases with other survivors before tier 3 ends. Fire Up is also a very sneaky perk that survivors don't expect. It's insidious nature allows for more unexpected strengths in areas where survivors expect you not to have them. This alongside Bamboozle makes vaults a joke, easily being able to cut off or follow through to survivors. If survivors decide to try and predrop every pallet because the loop has no power? break pallets faster with fire up. Survivors try to flashlight save? This messes up their timing ever so slightly that it gaslight them into thinking their timing is wrong.
did you listen? he clearly said with addons its not so bad, depending on the addons, can be even easy (tombstone). but without any addons its very hard.
When I played Freddy for the first time, I played about 30 wins like in a row, though I have under 1000 hours and don't have the best perks, but I'm mega low MMR and new players really have trouble playing against him, especially with the dream pallets I would use, those got me like about half of the downs in my games.
5:56 ngl it feels so weird seeing sadako against old dead hard lmao
And here I was attempting a Lethal only winstreak with Nemesis. I think I got to about 14 with that.
As a one trick trapper I get win streaks here and there but there’s always that one game where I get hella unlucky
2:14 one word
Merchant's map. It is astronomically god awful with dredge because of lack of lockers
Funny. I was just watching the 50 Win streak on Trapper earlier.
As a Nemesis main yeah the inconsistency is so rough.
About the dredge, someday i played as dredge on the game, that was my the worst experience with this killer, god paltes and god fillers almost on every spot, i destroyed 25 palets this game, i had deadlock, corrupt and pain res. I got 2 hooks till endgame, and worth to mention that i coudn't get a single pain res because of bad hook placement. And when the endgame begins i managed to slug 4 of them, and secure 4k. Ofcourse on the endgame chat i was called trash and etc.(they send me to the game). So my point is, that dredge sometimes sucks when you have bad map, bad placement, but sometimes there are moments when this killer shines and can turn your game to your side(im still anoyed after this game and i rarelly picking dredge, and it was like year ago)
Otz keeps dissing Freddy like Kendrick
"Hello friends this is otz, at least according to the person watching you sleep"
Poor Freddy, hope he gets some love in the future.
hey otz i dont know if you know this but on haddonfield you can fall from the roof and land on the hook on the left of the main house. dunno if this was reported yet but its a funny lil spot i found out. it is rng based btw forgot to mention.
The should bring back the old brand new part where it insta repairs a gen.
"Now Nr.3...
..I'll give you a killer...
..Dredge and Nemesis." - Otz.
Speaking of streaks: what happened to the one build streak? Was it completed and I missed the video on it, is it still going, or did otz decide not to do it?
wait so you also handicap yourself during your streaks? youre crazy dude. i cant win a game even with pink addons and offerings and you do 50 in a row
Not sure about your Monday, but I got a kiss from Otz, so I got this going for me.
Congrats on 1 mill Otz love you
Dredge being "RNG on top of RNG" is so accurate. Whenever you play Dredge there's always this feeling that "wow this killer is really great you have a decent anti-looping power, very strong mobility, and absolutely insane tracking during Nightfall"... and then you load onto a map with 40 pallets and 4 lockers and go "oh now I remember why I don't play Dredge."
Nemesis was my knee-jerk answer. A lot of survs know how to play around his power very very well. And the less said about zombies the better.
As a former Trapper main who has 500+ hours playing him, I can confirm that he is super frustrating to play. He is mercurial by nature and it leads to feels bad situations on both sides.
What I hate the most about Trapper is not even the trap spawns. It's the fact that survivors can escape on the first try by themselves leaving you unable to get value from it.
Depends how often the survivor abuse the exploits and how often use the playerthe exploit ,if the player is so bad ( in different ways) to need the use of it.
Otz, how would you rank the current Trickster for the 50 win streak difficulty?
for the person in chat asking for the headset. it should be the beyerdynamic dt 770 pro with velour ear pads. i have got the same and it's extremely good. it's actually a studio headset though.
Yeah, the 80 ohm version!
@@notOtzdarva yeah! it's the same as mine!
Otz talking about his hard winstreaks should probably come with a big ol' asterisk. When he managed the Freddy 50, Decisive was bugged to shit and only stunned the killer for like half the intended time, so a ton of people were running it and going down 3 seconds later
That happened for only some of the games in that streak; a much bigger factor was the fact that Ruin & Undying was really powerful back then.
This was so entertaining 🐔
Sadako was ok back then, even without the iri tape. You had to find the correct playstyle and the perks to support it.
Btw. I'm not talking about slugging.
Il take it as a challenge. I been obsessed with dredge and on a hotstreak. Im gonna do it with no addons
