After listening to this video, I think I'll just stick to the blood type diet. It has been working fantastically for me for many, many years. I am never ill in any way. Haven't had to see a doctor in over 25 years since I started really sticking to this diet and no problem with weight either.
This blood type diet changed my life. I lost 27lbs I am an o. My mom lost 25lbs she is A. And my stepdad lost 5 lbs he b. My friend lost 15lbs in a month she A. I am autoimmune disease free now
Thanks for sharing!
I just finished the book eat right for your type having a hard time meal preping and advice?
Whit are u still doing well? What was your autoimmune issue? Ty so much
Blood type diet has changed my life. I now only need 5h sleep a night, have no knee joint pain, have sustained energy throughout the day, slimmer than I've ever been.... you're so empowered when you have a compliant food list. You don't get the energy drains. 😊Please research and don't trust newspapers etc that only look at one aspect and make headlines. also see what Dr D'Adamo says in reply to so-called debunkers.
Thanks for sharing your experience. ( :
What blood type are you? I think everyone who has this kind of success is type O.
@@cl9826 I watched two videos on RUclips with people who are type A and it works for them.
I am an A blood Type, and have always found that I do feel lethargic after eating meat, and eating a big ole salad or smoothie gives me the most energy, whereas my mom, who is an O blood Type, will eat a steak and then run a mile after, lol. So I definitely resonated with the foundation of this diet and have been trying to do my best to follow it as much I can, because I have seen the repercussions physically when I don't. I appreciate your video! It was well-informed, organized, and easy to follow. I am very interested in taking my diet to the next step and looking into the Swami diet to see if I could add back in some of those foods that the "Blood Type Diet" took out. I know there are a lot of people on here saying it is all fake or not backed by research, but I am a testament of a person that has tried it and has seen positive results, so we just have to find what works for us and make adjustments as necessary. Great video :)
Thanks for sharing! Glad you found a way to eat that works right just for you ( :
What do you have for breakfast
Im blood type O. Tried this diet many years ago and it was amazing. My blood pressure and cholesterol went way down. For the first time in my life my IBS disappeared. My anxiety too along with my allergies. I became slim and fit and felt brilliant. I slipped off the after about 15 months during a long holiday in Italy and never got back on it. Since then I had a stroke caused by high blood pressure which left my in a wheelchair. My chronic diarrhoea and allergies have returned along with severe central post stroke pain and general stiffness in my joints. I hate getting out of bed and rarely get dressed. I have next to no social life. I really feel I am a waste of space and a burden on my loving family. I’ll be 66 next week and I’m going back to Eat right. I think it will be much easier this time around because there are so many ‘free from’ foods available these days. I’m excited today after reading all these positives comments I believe there might be hope for me yet.
Don’t give up xx
Funny, I’m O too follow it for such a long time and have horrible insomnia and anxiety
Were you able to get back to eating right?
U are NOT A WASTE OF SPACE!!! U ARE MAGNIFICENT!!! PRAYING FOR U!!!
I've been following the Geno type diet for over 10 years and have never looked back. Its the only true eating plan.
That's cool!
What’s your blood type?
I've been on the Bloodtype diet since 1996. And I stopped eating chicken, tomatoes and corn before I knew the diet for type B. When I read the diet it was so accurate with what food I already experienced that did not agree with me. And now It helps me stay feeling so much better
I have the same question, just learning about this , type B+ and I cannot believe NO avocados 😔
I follow it and i still have a little as a treat if it’s an avoid food..
I’m type AB and have been on this diet for 20yrs. I started it at age 40 when acid reflux started happening. The best thing that I have done for my overall personal health. I was aware that as a child oranges and bananas would give me heartburn if I ate them in my school lunch. I eat mostly Turkey for my protein. I feel healthier than ever. Thanks Dr. D
I been doing the blood type diet for about a month.. I’m a type O positive and it’s working great … feel a lot stronger. I tried to be a vegetarian for 8 months, and I was feeling kind of weak. I felt like I did not lose any weight. Then I started reading the book Eat Right 4 Your Type. changed my lifestyle completely. sticking with the blood type diet.
I started four days (14 July 2024) feeling much better and sleeping better. It’s a win win as far as I’m concerned. As I was mostly eating ALL the foods on the “ poison “ list. 😫
Thank you Ashley! I have been trying for 2 - 3 years to go vegetarian, then eventually vegan, and I have just been battling! Despite all the controversy around blood type diet, and personally surviving colon cancer, it appears that the blood type diet is spot on with foods that I should avoid, just makes me think that Dr DAdamo might just be on to something....
Interesting, glad you were able to find something that worked for you ( :
Hi Ashley, I just wanted to let you know I have been following the blood type diet for my O+ blood type for a few years now. And I do have to say, it has made a huge difference! I used to get a lot of headaches with some migraines and a lot of tummy trouble, by avoiding what I’m supposed to, I rarely suffer from them. I do not follow it religiously but I do as best I can. Thank you doing this video. I feel like I’m the only one who knows about this kind of diet among my friends and family.
Thanks for sharing Rosa! Have you checked out any of the genotype diet or swami diet info? I agree, I feel like the only one that even knows about this diet stuff so it's nice to hear you follow some of the recommendations as well. ( :
The simple blood type diet works so well for me, I haven’t really looked too hard into them.
Cool! ( :
Im O+ too. The blood type diet list os confusing though. Is there any advice you would give for me trying to keep some of the things to avoid from the list??
I started blood type diet in 2002 its the Truth. I had a allergy test done and foods i was suppose to avoid i was actually allergic too..
Go figure right?
Well explained! Thank you.
This is great. I just ordered my SWAMI. I noticed the foods that bother me pretty much line up with the blood type diet, so I’m gonna give it a try for s couple of months.
Good luck!
Awesome I am A+ as well and have the A+ book to go by just haven't ever started it yet, but you making this video is just the thing I need to inspire me to get that done thank you 👍😊
Glad to hear it, hope it can help you! ( :
Well- any progress? I’m just starting A poss diet
What an awesome video! So detailed and well spoken! I'm also an A+ NS Explorer. I really want to do swami now!
Cool, hope you can give it a try!
The genotype diet i find more accurate. Me and my husband are both O him negative me positive but there is a world of difference between hunter and gatherer. I use it as a starting point but i do the intuitive eating. Nothing like your own body and intuition to know what it needs.
First, I must commend you on such a detailed video, you undoubtedly invested a lot of time into this, so I appreciate you sharing the knowledge you gained. My blood type is A+ plus, and I wholeheartedly believe in the health benefits of being a vegetarian. Still, while I want to live a healthy lifestyle, I can't imagine limiting so many foods I've been eating all my life. Sorry for my mini rant, and thanks again for your video!
I just came across this video and I'm very interested. I started eating according to my blood type almost 2 years ago thought I slacked for several months and felt it, back at it but the additional info may help. I'm going to check the genotype and swami. Thanks for sharing this!
Hope it can help you!
Excellent information! Thank You 🙏
Wonderful information. I found out I am an O non secretor. I purchased a genotyping kit and Swami software. I found out I am an Explorer and am happy to know all of this information. Now I know what foods I can eat.
Cool! Do you feel like it's making a difference?
I think the blood type diet makes sense in a broad way, not in the strict track. I am an A positive too and red meat has never appealed to me, I have celiac therefore I am gluten free, vinegar does not make me good either so food for thought!
Interesting! That's kind of what I thought when I first heard about the diet, I found it interesting that so many of the foods my type is to avoid were already out of my diet anyways. Interesting stuff. ( :
OMG thank you for this info I'm on the type A diet this may help!
I have been doing my own research too and am blown away. I am type A also and according to the symptoms, a non secreter as well.
Interesting! Yeah there were so many of my characteristics within my blood type and later genotype, I knew there had to be some merit to it, so it's been a fun experiment to see how my body will react to it long term. 2 weeks in now and feeling pretty good!
Just wondering if you are still following the diet? Did you ever find out your secretor status? (I am waiting on my 23andMe results to come back in order to confirm although it doesn't really matter since I tested as genotype Warrior whether I was secretor or not) I am also A+ who ate pesco/ovo vegetarian for 18 years, then 100% plant-based for another 11 years and am now back to pesco/ovo per the Warrior foods allowed.
Thanks Ashley ❤ I am black with A+ blood type! I am a bodybuilder also. Oh brother...what a journey!
most informative video I've found yet!!!
Thank you for the info by the way.
Just in general... Look up the carbon structures of fats. Then consider oxidation of polyunsaturated fats/oils and how the missing carbon allows for oxidation. You're allowing free radicals into your system if oils get rancid. So beware.. would recommend you look for high monounsaturated fat oils in your oil list to cook with. Or cook with stable grass fed butter. Found your vid researching blood type and foods 👍
ty for your helpful info
Thank you for this video, Ashley! You really break down the diet and how to use Swami. How are you doing today?
Stopped doing the diet a few months in
@@AshleysConsciousLife why is that exactly?
I am new to the BTD been dealing with eczema my whole adult life so I am willing to try anything after trying just about everything diet wise. Can I just order the swami or do I need to order the other steps like genotype and secretor?
thanks for posting this
You bet
Oh My Goodness Ashley..... thank you for this video! I had done this diet years ago, but just had forgotten about it. I do remember tho.... when following it strictly, I never felt better, seriously!! I will definitely be getting this going again! I am a B+
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
same blood and yes, dairy is great
Hi Ashley - thank you for this amazing video.
Can I ask - is it possible that you give consultancy 1 on 1 help in order to get the necessary measurements to use the SWAMI X2 software? I purchased licences for it for myself and my family, and I'm struggling to understand how to take the optional/required measurements or what to understand in order to make the right selection first time for each of us.
Do you know of any consultants you can hire to take the measurements for you even, and fill out the software on your behalf to simply give you the accurate printout per person? This would be incredible!
Thank you for all you do to help others :) from all the way over in Scotland, UK xx
Personally I have been tested for food intolerances and had to cut a ton of foods out of my diet and your videos helped me a lot when I was first transitioning. However I have recently started to try and eat in a way that is better for me according to my body type and it has made me feel a lot better. So even though I don’t think that this software you used has all the answers it do think that it can make a great difference in how you feel as it is taking the needs of your body according to your body type into consideration. If you keep having digestive issues though I do suggest you do a food intolerance test, even though it costs a bomb.
I already had one a few years back $300 to be exact, and still find there's some foods that it says I can eat (but I can't) and vice versa, so who knows, lol
I always find your videos interesting! I just cut out a few foods because of my anxiety issues (dairy, gluten and coffee) and I'm definitely feeling better, but I'm not quite ready to find out more foods that I can't have (I'm A+ also and my heart sunk when you mentioned potatoes, tomatoes, vinegar and red meat as "no" foods) but this is something to keep in mind if I'm having more issues in the future. Keep the videos coming!
Glad you can relate to cutting out certain foods to help you feel better. I'm always interested in learning more and seeing what effects come from it. ( :
Thank you. I tried keto and lost some weight. I'm A and my bf is 0. I always said he was more of an outdoors/caveman person, he just does well with primal stuff, I don't.
Type A, here. This was super helpful. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
This is so interesting. I read the first 2 books, but they never really fit for me. I'm O- and gave up red meat & pork when I was a teen and only rarely ate seafood or poultry mainly because I didn't like the taste of meat. I'm definitely curious to see what the Swami X2 says.
I was wondering what other blood types thought of the recommended diets. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!
Your curls are pretty!
Would love to hear a video about how you feel after a month. Thanks for making this video. I’m also A+, and don’t eat meat; I don’t have a craving for it at all.
Glad you can relate Jennifer, I agree don't miss the meat at all! I will post an update for sure in a few weeks, was thinking of maybe even doing a "what I ate" video so you all could see what kind of things I eat these days, luckily not too much difference, just a few tweaks here and there. ( :
I am also A+ and I would love to see a video of what your plate look like❤
I remember the blood type diet :). I am curious as to what you discover with the new data out. I am discovering foods I don't do great with as I keep mental tabs on them.
I was doing the same as well and found it interesting that some of my "don't eat again" foods were the ones the swami diet said to "avoid" as well. ( :
Great video Ashley-I’ll definitely check out the website. I’m interested to know what your reasoning for testing this out...weight loss, more energy, digestive issues, etc? You seem very healthy and happy on your current diet. I totally get if it’s just to do more “self-research” on different ways of eating...I do that myself! Also, I assume your “type” may allow animal products, so are you just following the vegan options? Sorry for all the questions...can’t wait for a follow up!
Oh no worries, I welcome the questions.
Digestive issues mainly, curious if certain foods were just not agreeing with me even though they were "healthy foods". Allergies as well, and if it helped with energy that would be a benefit too! The specific diet recommendations after doing the "Swami" personalized diet online did still give me some dairy options, but I do not eat any of those. ( :
Great video! I am a blood type O+, secretor, Explorer GenoType. :-)
Cool!
Hi I just found your channel and I see you have an updated in a while how are you doing now while after following this continuing to do it
Just did an update here: ruclips.net/video/3NDIaDRdMoA/видео.html
I totally want to do this to see. I definitely think I am a NS. It would be cool to know
Cool!
Do you know how much the SWAMI test costs? I just ordered my secretor test and now I'm sorry I did...wish I had gone straight to the SWAMI!!
Thank you
I'm type a, and I found out that I was allergic to peanuts, watermelon, mango, but, peanuts never gave me much of a problem. Caffeine does absolutely NOTHING to me, I can drink it, and still sleep at night.
Do you have to do all the tests before you use the software?
I'm a blood type A nonsecretor as well!
As for protein powders... They're terrible for your digestive system. Its why all the fitness models and bodybuilders get ibs, colitis. Crones. If you do drink protein powders you have to add fat to slow the digestion down. That's why you see people mixing with peanut butter or almond butter... In general protein powders are just bad news imo. I'd stay away.
I've gone to just once per day, seems more tolerable, but I know what you mean- too much is too much sometimes.
@@AshleysConsciousLife glad you read my post. I just want people to stay healthy if they can... Its not easy figuring out nutrition. one of the best doctors in the weight lifting community says at most two shakes a week. Grain of salt as I'm a stranger on the internet. I use to drink them everyday too.going back many years..
@@UncleMike81 how do blood type A put bulk on?
@@ulyssesmarshall5061 caloric surplus is your answer. In context, not so sure blood type is the main driver behind what food you should eat. (I'm not sold, as I think food diversification is more important)The diversification alone might out weigh the digestive benefits if you don't have issues to begin with. Like low fod map foods... They help, but there's outside benefits to eating other foods even though the digestion maybe worse. When you start painting yourself into a corner you tend to cause more problems like food allergies and vit or mineral deficiencies. Obv just my opinion. I'm not a Jean-us ;)
anything man made/made processed in bad :D
I'd love to see an update video now that it's been 6 months. Have you stuck to it? How do you feel? I just ordered the Sectretor & Swami package so I'm excited to give it a try.
Stuck with it about 2 months or so then I started feeling worse...maybe just coincidence? I had high hopes for it, but it just didn't work for me. I think it can benefit some but not for me at this time in my life, maybe in the future.
Intersting... were you getting enough calories tho? following the swami?
Hi Ashley, I am A type positive and followed the blood diet with some success. I got the Genotype book and this confused me. Type A's can be one of 4 types, I appear to be a Warrior, but what confused me was that White mushrooms, Prunes and Mackerel were all beneficial for type A, yet aren't for any of the 4 type A Genotypes? That doesn't make sense! Have you noticed any other inconsistencies too?
I'm not sure- I stopped the diet a few months in
I also found out through an allergy test that I'm allergic to many trees, I forgot what they were.
I think it depends on the person how it affects the system. Everyone is,different. I know their receipe for trail mix was great for me. And cashew r,defently not the nuts for me. Makes,my system to acidity
Agreed. It was interesting, I used to eat things like coconuts and cashews all the time and now it turns out I should avoid them, might explain why I sometimes got a stomachache with them?
How do I do the swami thing. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago. Do I have to send things? Thanks
Very interesting! I’m just beginning to look into the blood type diet and I’m wondering if it’s worth it for me to try. This video was done 2 years ago. I’m curious as to how you are doing now? Are you still doing this? If so, have you noticed an improvement in your health?
I don't do it anymore- didn't see much benefits and missed the foods I couldn't have.
@@AshleysConsciousLife thanks so much for the answer😊
Omg! It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me! I was basically poisoning myself with chicken and corn, once I cut that out weight started falling off me and I have so much energy! Don’t let her response discourage you, she was weak and trying to find ways of bringing back foods she couldn’t have therefor not seeing a result lol I promise you won’t be disappointed! I’ve been doing it for 2.5weeks already lost 3lbs of solid fat!!! And feel amazing!!
@@katiep101 Interesting.
I have had it help me so much with my rheumatoid arthritis that nothing else would and I didn't want to have to be on drugs or painkillers but was getting to that point before, this was my last resort.
I do think that our genotypes make a difference in what we can eat/tolerate and thrive with. Have you ever done the 23 and Me testing?
I haven't done the 23 and me testing, would be interesting for sure! Have you tried it?
Ashley's Green Life
Yes! I have had my whole family do it. The results (Health and ancestry) are so interesting! The I went to a naturopath who claimed he was experienced in "translating" the results to provide diet and lifestyle recommendations. Not sure how accurate he was, but I did get a lot of good info.
Thanks for sharing!
I am so confused on this blood type diet. Many are against it and many swear by it. I will just have to try it for myself. What's best website to order books I need?
I linked some books in the description box.
Very interesting. Me I have A blood type. I will watch. Thank you for telling us. Have a beautiful day☀☀☀. Love❤😘💞😍 you
Cool! Hope you like it!
I am going to try it out I am blood group A Negative
A+ non-secretor Explorer here too! follow it about 80% of the time.
Lamb, turkey, eggs, fish, some dairy, lentils, Ezekiel sprouted bread, GREENS and lots of salads, berries, .... low sugar, lower carb /keto works.
That's cool it worked for you!
Blood type A needs carbs make up alot the diet so I dont know how keto fits in
@@ulyssesmarshall5061 I agree with you, in general. But Dr. D'Adamo -came out with another, more specific type of division for blood types - it goes beyond blood types. This book is called the Genotype Diet. It further breaks down the differences in people (secretor vs non-secretor, length of legs vs trunk of body, fingerprints, sensitivity to coffee, AND blood type (A+ vs A-) ) It's more specific and customized than the original blood type diet. There can be more varieties of foods to eat, more individual to each person.
@@you6382tube I didn't know tht thanks ima have to buy it👍
I am a A positive/explorer, I noticed that some of your avoid foods on your swami are supposed to be the Good foods on the Regular blood type diet (I noticed you didnt discuss your meats, I don't eat much, but I like lamb/turkey once in a while)
Yeah if you do the swami, some of the foods recommended are actually different than what you are supposed to do for your blood type, but since swami is more personalized that's what they recommend following. And for the meats, I'm vegan so I didn't use that section.
Thanks for the share! Can you update your Instagram link? Doesn't seem valid anymore and would love to follow you.
Did you ever have the non secretor test?
Interesting, but I think it would be more simple and precise to order an online kit for testing food sensitivities (different than allergy testing). In depth kits testing all foods including 200 specific fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat, dairy, and eggs, and more is around $200. No hopes or assumptions. Or just do a strict elimination diet. In any case, I hope you see good results with your new diet plan and will be interested to hear abt it!
I actually already tried the food sensitivity test, mentioned in this video: ruclips.net/video/nGUIfCU2nqU/видео.html
So I was curious if this would give me more information.
Ashley's Green Life www.lifeextension.com/Vitamins-Supplements/itemLCM73001/Food-Safe-Allergy-Basic-Blood-Test here's the test I was referring to. There are other tests too that use a stool sample to test.
Interesting, thanks for sharing!
just found out about my genotype. how are your hunger levels on this diet? i feel like i need atleast four meals a day but wonder if this diet changes that? cheers!
not sure- I stopped the diet a few months in
My chiropractor let me barrow the first book to look at. Unforchitly I never got the chance to read it because I was packing to move states and gave it back before leaving. It would be interesting to see what the software said I could have and couldn't have, but I don't think I'd be able to cut anything out of my diet. I'd definitely add things in though.
Yeah that's kind of the approach I've taken to with it now that it's been a month or two. I was really missing the foods I had to cut and didn't feel much difference with them out, so I added them back and continued to emphasize the foods that were extra helpful for me. ( :
Anyone here have blood type A negative and tried the diet? What did you cut out/ bring in? How was your experience?
I’m A negative and I have PCOS so I’ve been trying all different diets from keto to carb cycling - anyone been through something similar?
PCOS is highly linked to persistent organic pollutants like BPA. Diet can help for the inflammation, but I’ve read that people with PCOS need to avoid phthalates, parabens, fragrances, microwaveable frozen meals wrapped in plastic, plastic water bottles.
Oh my ! I have been a vegan for 3 years and I just found out I’m blood type o has this happened to anyone !? Where do I begin!!!?? I’m so nervous!!! To go back !
if you feel 100% healthy, energetic, happy, content, sleep great, living your best life then what you are doing is what is best for you, don't change things up because someone wrote a book and made a youtube video :)
Interesting i am type A positive and meat lately has been messing up my stomach.
You said the main thing you got from the SWAMI is the food list. How different was this list from the Genotype Explorer?
I don't remember, sorry.
Hi how’s the swami diet going?
I think at the end of the day it’s going to be aware of all of these things especially the blood type diet but at the same time listen to your body as it knows best and environmental as well as physical variables are constantly changing And then just stay away from synthetics and man-made chemicals at all costs as well as man altered foods, hormones and medication’s
Great video - thanks much for sharing.
For an improvement on user experience, please please get rid of the background 'tunes' - annoying.
Again, all else was great and helpful. I am in the process off finally getting tested for type, but convinced I am an A. (Have read Dr D'adamo's 1996/2016 book - also have recently had an Alcat blood test - and the results match up with 'A' pretty much on the dime.
I have some added sensitivities,as I have an AI disease, and that makes everything trickier.
Thanks for the video im considering checking into the blood type diet more, however isnt it based on a theory that we came from evolution instead of creation?
Dont u believe in evolution instead of creation?
I’m a Believer and I follow this from a food and exercise standpoint, minus yoga and tai chi etc.
Has it helped anyone? I’m O stopped wheat and dairy for a while and still feel digestion problems and anxiety insomnia etc
I stoped shortly after-didn't see the benefits I was hoping for.
@@AshleysConsciousLife what benefits were you looking for ? "Weight loss" ???
I hate eating meat when I was young. I thought I was weird!
All the blood types can eat different types of fish, blood type A can eat chicken and Turkey but mostly plant base not all vegetables
To be honest, I think the blood type diet is bollocks. When I was I was eating the foods that are supposedly considered the best for my blood type, I was sick A LOT. I had gastritis and/or diarrhea most of the time. I do think think it's great though that you are constantly learning and experimenting to see what works best for you. It's also fantastic that you are reporting on it as you go. I hope you find the right balance. :-). Try not to make yourself crazy. I don't think there is a perfect daily diet. Life can be a little wabi sabi sometimes and the sky won't fall down, know what I mean? All the best always, Cynthia
I couldn't agree more that it's not worth stressing about. It's interesting when I first tried the blood type diet just for my "A" type I did feel slightly worse, not sure if it was coincidence or what but once I personalized it with the genotype and swami software and got a more specific diet plan, I felt so much better. Thanks for your support about always being willing to learn and try out new things, I love variety and seeing if there's a better way to do things. We'll see how it goes!
I am b+ blood typ
Anyone know of A positive ar more prone to breast cancer? My mom is A positive and has breast cancer. I worry because I as well and A positive
I'm kind confused. When I look your description at 7:25 the SWAMI recommend you as an explorer. However when I follow the key in the Genotype Diet book, I have these same characteristics and the book discusses it as a strong indicator for teacher genotype... so, what am I ?? Hahaha
(Thinking about getting that SWAMI too by the way)
I think mine was close on the Genotype book that's why I splurged on the SWAMI-lol hope you can get some answers. ( :
Ashley's Green Life thanks. By the way, what kind of signs and symptoms came from being a non secretor ? Do you have some strong indicators that made you think about being non secretor ?
I am O+ never a big meat eater. Vegan plantbased 4 years. Feel great! Throw put that blood type theory....lol
Yeah it was something I tried to see if it would help- it wasn't for me either.
How would this diet work for some who is Vegan and type O?
Not 100% sure but eat high plant based protein is what I’ve heard
I only did the diet for a few months
Did you ever find out your secretor status?
No..didn't feel like paying for it
I’m a secreter type A blood,red palm oil 4 me?
Anyone still doing this 4 years today?
Type A blood, can I use red palm oil?
No.
I just found out I’m A+ but I think I need to eat meat for energy, so idk how reliable this diet is.
What did you find out?
Yeah I stopped it after a few months
U can eat chicken, Turkey, and different kinds of fish it's in the book
First of all, I love your videos and I find them very informative. Personally, I think this is a doctor trying to sell people snake oil. I am always skeptical by doctors who try to sell you a bunch of things on their website. I think you should just eat foods that make you feel good. I didn't hear a lot in the video about when you made all of these changes, how you felt. What worked and what didn't work for you and your stomach issues. Food should be enjoyable and make you feel good, not something to obsess over.
Thanks for your feedback Lindsay, I agree, I am super skeptical about people who sell supplements and give nutritional advice, but I've been researching it for a while and felt it was worth a shot. When I filmed this video, I had only been on the "swami" recommended foods for about a week and it was about a week before that of being on the "a type" diet, so it was such a short period to notice a difference. It's been two weeks now on the swami and I do feel better, could be coincidence, but digestive issues have decreased and so have my allergies. Who knows if it will continue to improve. We shall see. I'm all about learning as much as I can about it, giving it a full shot, and then if it works- great, if not, no worries, go back to what I was doing before. But I agree food should be enjoyable, so I'm trying to make sure and not stress about it all (apparently type A's are higher stress as it is-lol!)
I'm skeptical. This sounds like someone trying to tell you what you're "missing" so they can sell it to you. I think everyone's different & requires different nutrients. My dad enjoys his junk food and doesn't have a thing wrong with him. My mom has to work a bit harder to maintain her diet for health reasons. I've honestly never heard of this book so maybe there's something to it, but I think it comes down to listening to your body and making adjustments when necessary
Ashley's Green Life hey girly I just ordered my swampi geno kit and I found out I’m an A+ which is really weird considering I’ve now ever been a meat eater my whole life growing up Omni... I have always preferred veggies and mostly dark green veggies 😂 as a kid that was strange to most but that’s me though.
How has it been and are you STILL on the geno diet? How do you feel?
I like your videos but I think you went awry with this one. Blood type diet has been debunked. Personally, I am type O and according to this book, I should be eating a high protein diet. I did horrible with eating meat and thrive on a vegan diet. So don’t restrict yourself with what these books say you should eat or not eat. Do what works for you.
I'm not saying it's for everyone, just trying it to see if it can work for me. If it didn't work for you, no stress, follow a different diet.
I am also type O - & I have known ever since I found out where meat came from - that I was supposed 2 b vegetarian - I am currently vegan - with the exception of egg (this is one of my superfluous as far as I know) - only if they organic, free range, unfertilised, from happy healthy hens who will live until they naturally pass .... I am currently on the genotype diet - & noticing really big differences .... am looking @ purchasing Swami Xpress in next couple of days .... I really believe it's totally possible 2 do these diets without meat & diary - just because the blood tests OK 4 these does not mean it is OK 2 ingest these & participate in these cruel exploitive industries we would be well & truly soo much better without on all levels .... other things could also b affecting the foods - plastic chemicals, chemical sprays, toxic soils, mineral deficient soils .... so would be best 2 also take these things in account also when having reactions 2 foods that r "supposed" 2 b blood & genotype friendly .... & whether ur body could perhaps be experiencing detox symptoms .....
U made a mistake on your blood type probably as others have, U are probably an A not O! Recheck!
I went vegan for one year thinking it would improve my health but did the opposite. My friend flourish on this diet while I was in constant pain. We ate the same food and his skin was clear and hair was shiny while I developed skin blotches and my hair started to fall out. He is type A and I am type O. Once I left Veganisim my body repaired almost instantly. I later on found out about the blood type diet and I will follow it for life. Veganisim is not for everyone and I am proof of that!
What does help if you are diabetic
Not related unfortunately.
Hi Ashley. What's your blood type by the way?
She says in the beginning she is A+
@@loverofbeautifulthings same as mine
3:28 an anomaly? 😏 haha
Shouldn't listen to one dude, he's not God.
Didn't say he was, just trying out his research.
