Xynotol up front with endurance compound is terrifying in harder terrain where I live. Great back tire though. Kryptotal soft up front is a great setup.
I run Kryptotal rear pattern front and back, 2.4 trail casing and endurance compound is plenty grippy but last forever, like 6 months on a rear, and they’re not bad for rolling resistance for random 50 mile rides . Argotal for breaking in fresh built trails or deep dust. Tested a ton of tires to get to the conclusion. If they made a soft compound for trail casing up front, And endurance compound for heavier casing on rear that would be ideal.
Would you choose a kryptotal or an argotal as a front tire if you primarily ride Moose and Praire Mtn trails in the summer (no shuttle)? Also soft or supersoft?

Kryptotal DH Supersoft would be the go to! If you're a lighter rider, maybe look at the enduro casing.
