They say soul punisher is a move that oneshots bad guys thats why in the janemba movie he died one shot and not super broly because hes not a bad guy he was just out of control

If u are gonna get round to playing Legends, good luck with those summons, cause they can either be really good, or they can straight up shaft you. If ur new to it, it'll take a bit of time figuring out what each summon animation means, as there are a good variety of them, even if some are much rarer than others.
@ChocolateKieran Hit is the definition of jojo reference because not only can he stop time but his English dub voice actor is the same English dub voice actor for Jotaro in jojo's bizarre adventure.
Many ultimates in this game have special animations that happen when they kill that was not shown. Beerus does Hakai Goku Black or Fused Zamasu if he kills them with a lvl 3.

There is only one ultimate that has a different kill animation and that’s the beerus one you said.
Well, SSJ Goku screams much different things when he's fighting Frieza than when he's fighting him other people. Does that count?

21 is mostly biologic, and like Cell, contains DNA from various characters, including Majin Boo, which is why she has a Majin form (which kind of took her over, because Majin cells are too strong).
Yes, when you use the Ginyu Body change, you play as the opposite character. Also, for 18, the Krillin animation only happens if he's on your team. 17 is the default
Fun Fact: Some of these ultimates have a special ending if it gets rid of the opponent's life and depending on the character. For example Beerus actually destroys the opponent if you are at low health with Fused Zamasu or Goku Black.

0:17 - Upon using Goku's special attack: "Kaioken" on any opponent, Goku will slam them into the ground and hold the opponent over his body triumphantly if they reach 0 HP from the normal finisher (the kick and dive at 0:54)
3:01 - Upon using Roshi's special attack: "Mafuba" on any opponent, the opponent's characters will normally be forcefully swapped to the next fighter. If they are the last fighter, nothing happens. If the character reaches 0 HP, Roshi will seal the jar.
7:37 - Upon using Android 17's special attack: "Endgame" on any opponent, 17 will stand over the body of the opponent if the opponent reaches 0 HP from his final kick (the kneeling pose he takes at 7:41)
10:17 - Upon using Majin Buu's ultimate attack: "Turn into candy!" on any opponent, the opponent will stay inside of Buu's body if they reach 0 HP from the attack.
21:08 - The same thing happens with Android 21's "Sweet Tooth" ultimate attack
12:15 - Upon using Beerus' ultimate attack: "God of Destruction's Judgement" on either Goku Black or Fused Zamasu, Beerus _will_ Hakai them if they reach 0 HP from the attack (What you were expecting at 12:19)

Something to give Arcsys so much extra praise for is that nearly every frame of animation for every fighter is a reference, either to the manga, anime, movies, games, or other media. You can go over every movement, from stances, basic attacks, and all the way up to their ultimates, and over 90% of the time, it's actually a direct image. There are compilations around showing all of them off, but that extra effort really makes the game stand out even stronger as the GOAT of Dragon Ball games.
That Trunks final attack comes from his final battle with Cell after he come back to the future, specifically from episode 98 of Dragon Ball Kai. Most people don't remember it, probably because he's only using it once if I not mistaken, and he's wearing a battle suit instead of his jacket and sword.
to clarify something: to my knowledge, 21 herself wasn't gero's wife, but was based on her, in the same way 16 was based on Gero and Vomi's(his wife) son. She retains the memories of her human counterpart.

Actually, all animations (besides particle effects) are 3D, there is no "cut to 2D" for the super attacks, it's all insane camera and animation trickery to make you think it's 2D when it's not

@ChocolateKieran nope! rotoscoping is when you trace over live-action footage for easy and quick animation but with a lot of movement, this is pure 3D animation

Actually Broly is capable of rational thought. In the first movie he taunted his opponents, but for some reason in the second he's just KAKAROOTH

With Ginyus body change. After you switch the opponent is not allowed to use any attack that uses any of the Ginyu force (they have half a character while you get their whole character).
And also if tou notice super saiyan gokus level 3. The difference between the two versions is one get a side switch (end up on the other side) while the other keeps same side but does a tiny bit less damage.
Gohans level 3 is unique. If you have Gotenks on your team he does the solo Kamehameha since Goten is fused. If Gotenks isnt on your team he does the Bros Kamehameha, and if SSJ Goku is on your team without Gotenks he does the family Kamehameha
7:45 the normal level 3 is with 17 but if Krillin is on the team he joins untill hes downed
Honestly I’m really happy they included his solo ultimate. For some reason super attack compilations like always leave that version out and it always bothers me

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but all the characters in this game are actually 3d models. They’re made and presented in such a way that they look 2d during the fights, but they’re actually 3d at all times
Not including Roshi putting the lid on the bottle was a foul move but I think it's all in all a sorta tight idea for a compilation

I really wish Android 21 would become canon. Like actually Android 21 herself. Dr. Gero's wife is canon.... but as far as we know, she's passed away. I'm still holding out hope we get 21 someday, though. Her powers are cool, and her style is cool.

Gogetas rainbow attack is called soul punisher the whole concept of his moves is to hurt evil he used this against janemba which is a demon kid in hell merged with thousands of evil souls when he was hit by soul punsisher he reverted back to his kid form since soul punisher erases all evil
Also his and gogetas first apearance is the fusion reborn movie definitely one of my favorites

A lot of games inexplicably base Broly off of the second movie where he's basically incapable of communication, but in the first Broly movie, he very much taunts and psychologically tortures the Z fighters as he dismantles them physically, him screaming "Kakarot" is mostly from the second movie where he becomes a mindless berserker.
No way he forgot the most important ultimate and it was the Hakai
captain ginyu is the best character in the game !!! I love that you can use him to test out DLC characters before buying them.

Android 17: That move is called Super Electric Strike
Majin Buu: Yes each one is different (really cool in my opinion)
Kid Buu: yes he was pretty broken when it first came out
Goku SSGSS: I’m not completely sure I think he was released a little after the game was released
Kefla: She was a DLC (with a dope into animation) and he was that move of Goku UI sign when he rides of top of it with the Kamehameha
MUI: Yes He is a DLC (there is 14-18 DLC)
Bardock: Yes One of his Inputs are called something Javelin I don’t play bardock so I don’t know the exact name

Android 21 (Evil): When you use the food move if it kills she will eat the whole thing
Android 21 Backstory: Android 21 used to be a normal person but when Gero turned her into an android she got split into Evil and Good types of Android 21

Goku and Vegeta SSGSS were unlockables, you had to complete the story mode, but they were also available as DLC if you don't want to play the story mode.

Broly does say more than kakarot in the first movie but by the second and third his only lines are basically kakarot, most of the games use the later iteration in second coming as a reference which is why he only says kakarot, this is cuz they flanderized him hard by the second movie making his only character quality his hate for goku
Z Broly actually talks insane shit in his first movie, dude is a BULLY, he's actually awesome. It's the other 2 where he doesn't say shit and sucks ass. Those sequels + stupid translations in the English dub of the first one really soiled his rep, every problem people have with him are because of one or both of those things.

Ironically dbz Broly has alot more character than dbs Broly (atleast for the first movie).
In plain terms, as a baby he becomes afraid of Gokus potential, so much so that his instincts scream at him to attack Goku just by sensing his ki. He fears of his destiny of dying to Goku and ends up realizing it by trying to stop it.
I don't what it is with people thinking Z broly only says "Kakarot", he's very aware and speaks full sentences even transformed. It's Super Broly that only grunts and screams lile a monkey lol

Broly talks quite a bit, and it's a bummer he has this association for just saying "Kakarot" when that's not really accurate. He actually talks less in his earlier forms, and becomes more vocal in the big rage LSS form contrary to what people might expect. He has a sort of cocky personality, and is pretty entertaining with the shit talk he does before and while bodying all of the z fighters, so it's wack that people forget that he's not actually mindless. There's a great video by a RUclipsr called something like "nobody understands Z Broly", and he talks about a lot of the misconceptions people have about Z Broly that aren't actually true.
Broly doesn't "scream Kakarot at nothing" that's the abridged version, the actual broly only screams Kakarot while transforming and after that he speaks normally, this is one thing I hate about the abridged version, it's made everyone think the original broly is just some meathead when he isn't
It's actually because of how past games portray him like Budokai 3, I felt this way since before I knew the Abridged existed and not sure if was watching by the time they covered Broly stuff

You need to watch Broly 1. Or actually play the games more. OG Broly doesn't just scream Kakarot. That's only something he did in Second Coming and in media that flanderizes him based on 2nd Coming. Bro can actually talk and talk shit, something that can't be said for Super Broly, who doesn't even speak words once he starts powering up to even Wrathful state.

The reason for SSGSS Gogeta using the Soul Punisher is because they don't have a Super Gogeta so they had to fuse attacks into one fighter
