Crocodile certainly knows how to put his enemies to sleep. And yes, Mr. 2 Bon Clay's devil fruit is a valuable Baroque Works asset.

Before Sanji' bashes their heads in Usopp, Karoo, and Chopper are also chewing on something. The implication is they also helped clear out the fridge.
In the manga an Odabox pointed out they were equally guilty.

I love that every arc has at least a few new music pieces. It keeps things fresh.

Mr 2/Bon Kurei (often romanised as Bon Clay) is both the male numbered agent and the female holiday agent, in this case a mix of the O-Bon and Kure festivals. And he's a solid fan favourite.
I wondered about that. I'd seen Bon Kurei, but didn't know what holiday, if any, was in his code name.
I remember a while back when you mentioned an old TV show The Prisoner with the numbered agents, and here's a perfect place to point out that Mr 2's ability to change appearances is a wonderful (although almost certainly unintended) mirror to Number Two being played by a different actor each episode.
The Clone-clone fruit gives Mr. 2 the face, body, and the voice, but not the powers.
Mr. 2 Bon Clay/Kurei is an interesting character, to say the least. The fact that he's a fan favorite is unavoidable.
This story gives us some fascinating heroes and villains. Some villains get redemption arcs, others cannot be redeemed. Redeemable or not, there are fan favorites within both groups.
Luffy's sense of direction is better than Zoro's. That's it.

I don't know if you know this by now, but Sanji's voice actor voices Karoo. Most of the Strawhats voice important animals too. Later on there will be another animal voiced by another Strawhat voice actor.
Also in the manga the reason Bon Clay doesn't have a female partner is because he can be a woman too because of his devil fruit, so he kinda is both genders. In the anime they changed that to him simply not wanting a partner because of his ego, I guess.

the thing I love so much about OP is how some of the biggest or significant characters in an arc or in the series their introduction can be just so casual or goofy. Unlike a lot of shonen who like to showcase whoever is the next big bad needs to have them walk in and everyone is staring, OP will have the next big arc villain practically fall out of the sky, they will apologize and leave and then see them 15 episodes later like “oh yea that’s Jeff he’s got a 15,000 bounty and works for These guys”
Bon Clay is the best. One of my favorites aside from the crew. 🤗

So something else to think about here there are a number of peter pan references, crocodile with a big hook, there is the clock tower, we also see a number of Egyptian and Assyrian references.

There is another called Sand Blues, but listen to this one in the mid point of the series.
Crocodile has a hook, like Captain Hook from Peter Pan, who was chased by a crocodile. I have no idea if this is a coincidence.
7:00 you may recognise this voice actor Yao Kazuki as Jango. He also voices a major character later on.

22:20 I hope Inaki Godoy expands on Luffy's facial expressions cause Luffy does some wild expressions along the way like disgust, annoyance, suspicion, and aloof. I mean, I get it. It can be hard to pull off some expressions, but I hope he does his best.

The beginning of the Alabasta arc is a little wonky in the anime, since they diluted it with quite a bit of filler (or even pulling lore from the latter half of the arc out of context here)
it is still very enjoyable, though - and has great character introduction(s)

aint it terrifying? how easily 'Mr. Zero' disposed of those Pirates, we've seen up to Mr. 3 in action, and they havent looked too impressive, kinda shows the power difference quite a bit.

The perfect actor for Bon Clay (Mr.2) its Jim Carrey... His face and haircut its inspired by Lloyd of "Dumb and Dumber" films... so bad Jimmy its already older... I hope they can hire him and use CGI or uses AI to use young Jim Carrey on the Live Action!! T-T
