Fun Fact: Double Finger is a reference to New Years Day. Two single fingers 1/1 aka January 1st.
I love Chopper and Zoro bonding. At times they feel more like brothers than Sanji and Zoro do.
In 27 episodes you will have finished the entire future season 2 of the live action, nice!
As you've noticed by now, the male top agents' code names are numbers and the female partner is a day, either a day of the week for the lower Numbers, or a holiday or other special day for the upper.
The ones you know now:
Mr. 1 with Miss Doublefinger is named for January first ( 1/1 - or two fingers).
Mr. 3 with Miss Golden Week - a week of different observances that ends on May 5th, Children's Day.
Mr. 2 Bon Clay is an exception. He is the only solo agent and he (or they, I've seen either used) has both a number and a holiday designation. Bon Clay (or Bon Kurei) is a festival of some sort, I think. I looked it up but I can't remember.
Episode 102 I think is one of the few, if only filler episodes that I wish was in the manga. Mainly for the part where Zoro and Chopper talk about what it means to be apart of this crew. It also has hilarious moments.

I don't love the non-canon thing they included, though, that ends up tripping up a ton of anime-only fans because they think it's canon.

I always wondered about the hierarchical order of the holidays with the female agents. Like, Christmas isn’t as important in Japan as Bon-kurei/Obon is (being a festival to honor the dead in the late summer). But then I wondered about Doublefinger. Turns out, it’s just a silly way to refer to 1/1, or New Year’s Day, one of the most important days in Japan. As to why Miss All-Sunday is the top, it’s because all Sundays are the best day of the year, according to Oda, since it’s a day of rest and relaxation and spending time with family.

For reasons that will become clear later, before I found the filler list and discovered this episode is filler, future events made me wonder why they never mentioned this buried dome or what they found in it. It _looks_ like something that someone would have been keen to investigate had they known about it.
Toto-OjiSan..he is a small character in OP, but very effective and memorable, in story telling.
well, you were right in that that writing on the big stone will be important, but honestly you do not need to worry about it now, they will explain in due time when it becomes relevant :) i guess they just wanted to make first time viewers curious about it, but like many other things, itll take a while to know what exactly those are :) hope that wasnt too spoilery!

Zoro's voice actor is great at arguing in a lot of different animes. Some of my favorite are Ixion Saga DT and Gintama, but there's so many more.

This stretch is infamous..but I love 102 for the comedy and Zoro/Chopper moments.
yea not so much happened in these couple episodes but aside from a bit of padding, there is at least the moving things into place n all with this arc like with the baroque works agents

Mr. 2's song "Oh come my way", also can be heard as "Okama way".
Okama means transvestite in Japanese.
He actually says both, especially if you listen to his theme song with lyrics.

6:37 I'd like to point out that this is a non-canon thing that I can't say what it is yet. The first canon one you'll see in time.
9:42 even for the canon thing that I can't say what it is yet, nobody's managed to translate the letters that I'm aware of. Odds are it's just gibberish shapes, Oda doesn't seem to me like the kind of author who'd make a distinct language like Tolkein.

It's not Japanese Kanji/Katakana/Hirigana, if that is what you are asking. (This was also not in the manga.) I don't really feel I should answer more than that.

Its worth remembering that Oda doesnt do anything by accident. So unless something is definitely filler and not put in by him then you are looking at sone plot point. One of the reasons i enjoy one piece is because Oda is as clever with plot placement and foreshadowing as J micheal strazinski awas with Babylon 5. Once peopke started realising this was happening people started to theorise what things mean. However the clever thing is that the plot and the action makes you forget the real questions such as what is the One Piece
Largely true! Oda does sometimes improvise as he goes along, and is also really good at retroactively fitting things together. But he definitely does a _lot_ intentionally!
Episode 102 actually includes filler content that a lot of anime-only fans are convinced is foreshadowing by Oda, when it was actually only included in the anime.
Hi Mikey! LOL! Doublefinger is New Year first day in the first month 1 of 1 (than "double" finger). I never heard about any culture treating January first in that way. But I heard some rumors that Oda invented that to be more palatable her surname.
So in this part of the story you might see the subtitles saying Oh Come My Way. This is a bit of a weird and seemingly deliberate mistranslation. What Mr.2 is really saying is Okama. A japanese word for a homosexual and specifically a crossdresser which can be used pejoratively. It seems like at this point the translators really didn't want to have any direct references to homosexuality or gender non-comformity in the text and decided to just portray Mr.2 as a weirdo who enjoys ballet.
I figured it was Oda intentionally wanting it to sound like both, because he plays with cross-language wordplay and puns pretty often!
"High!" uhm... no thats wrong. "Hy-aaa!" No still not right... wait I got this!

I'm sure someone else has said it already, but Bon Clay's group should be saying "Okama way", not "Oh come my way". If I remember right, an Okama is a crossdresser.

Just so you know. Episode 102 is anime filler.And fun fact: Doublefinger is a in-joke on Oda's part(Something to do with New Year).
Isn't 102 a filler episode?
In the Future could it be possible for you to react and review BLEACH. It's extremely worth it. The music alone is some of the top tier OST in anime.

Episode 102 is 100% filler. The stone there shouldn't exist, it contradicts future story elements.
It does, however, manage to keep the essence of the characters, for the most part.
Things are about to get interesting. Or annoying. Not a fan of Miss Merry Christmas, myself.
Some one has to tell you
102 is one of the worst fillers of one piece, it might be the worst filler of one piece because it intervene with the main story
So if someone thinks that it's a part of the story it will ruin his one piece experience
Also 101 is a filler and one of the worse filler that ruin the story
My advice is to ask a fan before you watch a filler

One piece characters are enjoyable and funny even in the fillers but they are showing things that doesn't make any sense later in the story
