Speak of the devil, I literally just finished roaming around New York in AC3, and yeahhh, the American saga parkour is kinda underrated, it's not the best in terms of freedom and precision, but it's a nice middleground between the oldschool ACs and the Unity games.
@@JFVideos960 have you not read what I write, I know both games like my shoes and syndicate have gutted but SAME parkour as unity, if you can't see it I'm sorry
@@ArgerasCZ Like I said, it’s similar controls and it’s the same engine, but it’s not the SAME parkour. You literally just contradicted yourself when you said gutted
Mirage does it considerably better in terms of reducing clunkiness and being enjoyable to use in my opinion. Feels good to see something from a prior game actually being worse for once
there are but they are pretty shtt compared to the OG games you have to time it too early, even then ejects dont have much height gain, always prefers kbjects lower than you, it is st00pidly useless
I've always found the Kenway era parkour to be rather clunky & uncontrollable to be fair. It's definetly the parkour I have the least experience with as a result
@MagnumSpydyrIN I find less issues with button discipline. More the fact that directional movement with the analogue stick is way more sensitive. Leading me to slow down more to try & get the correct angle when approaching surfaces
hmm, i dunno about controller since i play with mouse K/B. i never had this problem, perhaps set dead-zone or adjust controller sensitivity, that might help you.
Not really an option on console unfortunately. I do have the game on PC I don't have it installed atm due to lack of space. If I revisit this game in the future I'll definetly take a look. But I reckon I'm just gonna stick to the Ezio games & Mirage from now on as they're what I know best
I'm gonna be complitly honest, ac 3 parkour is clunky...in original. Unfortunately the og ac 3 is almost unplayable on modern pc. It's very bugy and clunky. The remastered version is a pile of shit that somehow looks worse than a game from 2011, but it's the only way to play ac 3. P.S (sorry for bad english)
The "remaster" is 100% garbage. Only ubisoft can make a remaster that looks worse than original, requires 15 time better hardware to work, and costs like a new game.
I'm currently playing Odyssey. Your video made me realize parkour was so much smoother back in 2012.

If this is clunky mirage is a nightmare
you mean valhalla LITE

I absolutely hate how they made the side ejects incredibly hard to time , makes no sense
Like the previous entry u need to try to make the moves look flashy. Later on the series u just press on a button to be flashy
I love all AC games but this one is my least favorite.
Your opinion matters as much as a white crayon
The best parkour in AC series :)
Far from my favourite but it can be fun
Didn't know there were side and wall ejects in this game.
Of course there are

Have you played unity?
@@AemadGreenMusic yes
@@aracka_nox Can you tell me why you think that AC3 parkour is better than unity's?
@@AemadGreenMusic I don't have the feeling to be on the moon. It's more realistic.

you made it look clunky af! no offence, but this looks terrible.

ac3 parkour may have a bit stiff learning curve, but it's certainly not uncontrollable. just needs button discipline.

0:35 SUPERHERO LANDING!!!
the Jank of AC3 parkour lies in incomplete Vaults , its not proper and not to mention inconsistent surface slide
My main gripe is just how loose directional movement feels
Cool

Honestly I never had any significant bugs in the original game that hampered my experience (on pc). The remaster, however is atrocious.
