LVE is correct. We are all here because of God's good graces. Class act, sorry to see his integrity and his work ethic go. Bless his life with his family and his future hunting trips. Thanks Fish.

Good for him. He is one of those you just can't see as anything but a Cowboy. He started as one and he is going out as one. But I would say that about him no matter what team he played for his dedication and loyaty proved that. Whatever team he started with that's the team you would expect him to retire from because that is who he would have been for life. He will be missed, but I wish him all the best in life with his wife and new baby. May God's Grace always shine upon him and his family. Rest your weary body now Vander and enjoy your family.

A good guy and a great player. He played every down with the fire and intensity that is missing from most of the rest of the team. We was sorely missed on the field this year and will be missed going forward with fans. ahooooooooww!
As for cowboys management very poor start preparing for this next season. It came to mind for me today, the beatles have a song called "good morning" and it talks about nothing to say and nothing to do but its ok. Exactly jerry's theme for the year. Nothing to say but gibberish and doublespeak and nothing to do to make a super bowl team cause "we like our guys". Good morning good morning.

Thumbs up Fish. I believe a franchise should be in one of two modes. Adding the finishing touches to a legit contender. Or rebuild mode, like the Florida Marlins in the past. I know differences exist between MLB and NFL but take my Cubs for example. Traded all their best players but now we have a young exciting team.

Best thing that he could have done for his future. He had a bad injury each time he re injured it caused the damage to spread. I hate to see him retire, but it's best for him and his family for the long term.
