- Welcome to another TF2 gameplay! Today, I am checking out some TF2 Custom Weapons! I was originally going to check out some payload race, but thanks to Valve not fixing the bot problem I was unable to find a playable match for over an hour, so I had to change things up.
I was looking through the server browser in TF2 and BAM! I saw it. A CUSTOM WEAPONS server. Thought to myself, of course I have to give this a shot! So I did and it was very...VERY strange.

Honestly if valve were to ever update tf2 again a slow moving rocket laucher that you could control would be really fucking cool

I love these community wacky servers you play on, people can get so creative with the stuff they make. Id love to see a video on a wacky races map from you :)
50% of custom weapons: "The rocket flies downwards so you can bomb people from a distance, pretty cool."
The other 50% of custom weapons: "+50% reload speed. -20% firing speed. -50% clip size. -5% move speed. +10% jump height. When fired: increases your meter. When meter is full: If you hit your target, +40% melee attack speed while airborne for 10 seconds. If you miss, automatically switch to your secondary. If you don't kill someone with your secondary in 10 seconds, -10% maximum health on wearer. +1 bullet fired per shot per enemy killed with your melee while airborne this life. You take minicrits while wet. For every minicrit you take, gain one charge. Press alt fire to throw this weapon at the cost of one charge. If this weapon hits an enemy while thrown and you have 3 or more charges or >75% meter, weapon explodes, coating any enemies already coated in jarate with mad milk. +50% move speed to all allies within a 10 yard radius of you while you are within a 10 yard radius of any enemy covered in both jarate and mad milk. No random critical hits."

A lot of these don’t even seem too unbalanced. I’d bet they could be added, even if only slightly changed, without breaking the game too much.
The mini-critting shotgun would be kinda OP, considering the reserve shooter was already annoying with airblast-happy pyros before the nerf, and adding the same type of weapon just for W+M1 pyros with even less of skill needed would be hell.

@@Artician with a damage penalty, clip size penalty and maybe reduced accuracy, it couldn’t be spammed too easily. Also, an incendiary shotgun would be cool

There is actually a full community behind these custom weapons, I highly suggest you try out these servers more. They also change the stats of a lot of base-game weapons, with some small changes and some being full reworks.
And trust me, Blutsauger is god himself
where do i even find community servers like this? I always get like, 5 servers and a bunch of clones of those 5

Drunkard's Wrath (the magnum looking grenade launcher) is my favorite by design and stats, considering that it can switch from precision like the loch and load to AOE like the grenade launcher

3:53 it's a common visual bug, you fix it by crouching
usually I prefer crouch-jumping. but yeah. Common tf2 stuff.

Honestly i would love a grenade launcher shaped like a beeg revolver to be added to tf2.
that clipping into the floor thing sometimes happens to me too.
usually i get rid of it by crouchjumping once, hopefully this works for you in the future too!

CROSSBOW SCOUT MOMENT
That was a good weapon! Not sure if it's stats are good, but it was fun to use! :)
The first Scout Shotgun looks like a Sten Gun, the cheapest gun made in mass production during WW2. It was also an SMG so I don’t even want to know what the hell he had to do to make it a lever action, magazine fed, shotgun

Weapon invented by me:
THE AIRSHOT:
+ direct hitting while target is in mid air results in a mini crit,
+ direct hitting while you and target is in mid air, results on a critical hit
- 15% damage penality
- no random critical hit.
0:09 That actually looks just like the nailgun from Team Fortress Classic, which the Scout class has along with a weak shotgun. It was full-auto and fired metal nail projectiles that flew in a straight line and did weak damage.
The Howitzer doing normal damage but also being single-shot is just dumb.
Indeed, the Pseudonailgun's model is inspired by the previous Team Fortress.
Alas, the similarities end there - Pseudo in CTF2W is hitscan, and its one mechanic is that several of its stats get better the more the user runs around.
Howitzer's a hybridknight weapon. You hit anyone be it with a direct hit or splash and you prime them for 5 seconds. Hitting that primed someone with a melee weapon deals 20% more damage. Now, factoring in a normal melee + a charge crit boost + a howitzer prime we get: 105 on mini-crit; or 234 on full crit damage. It auto-reloads on melee kills, and also has reduced self-damage on blast jumps

@@Skullhawk13 At least that one can still work on its own and has a useful secondary mode (airblast). You only get one single shot with the Howitzer and it literally does normal damage. If anything, the Howitzer should either hold multiple shots or do much more damage than stock.

Also love the design of the second rocket launcher as a homage to Half-Life's RPG.

A lever action sten gun is the most cursed thing I've seen today
Sometimes it’s fun to mess around with the inside jab with me, lucky luigi (in video), and hostile badger (server mod)
Inside Jab deals the maximum possible emotional damage.

Until you realize you can't consistently hit them without explosives because their hitboxes are tiny.
Or until you realize they combo with the Widowmaker.

The cam stuck in the ground thing only affects the you as your still seen as above ground for the rest

Thanks for sacrificing your sanity to play more Hunt Down the Freeman. It probably wasn't very enjoyable to play but it was super enjoyable to watch.

These are cool and all but what if we gave every class a glock, on the next ctf2w update.
Yeah the crossbow for Scout is actually an interesting concept. Make him even more of a skirmisher considering his slow fire speed but giving him more range viability and allow him to pick and choose his battles even more.
As a pyro main, I like the shotgun that Mini crits burning players.

this is what it was:

tip: how make spy good, put an sapper that will turn the sentry of enemy team to your team.
same things to teleporters and dispensers. this sapper will not only be usefull but very of i think. but to turn it to on your team you need to get the sentry hp 0 then he will turn into your team

The crouch thing is vanilla. Just crouch jump to fix. You appear in the floor but its just visual so if you compensate for what appears to be you being lower than your opponent you’re actually just aiming at the sky and missing.

6:12 yeah I saw this I never had it but I saw someone use it and it was very weak grenades but millions would shoot out at once and it was really fast
You have to play sniper and use the Ultimate Lucksman i dont know its actual name, but its the bow and it has a % chance to activate every and all status effects in the game

What’s cool about these servers is that they also rebalance the existing weapons. Like making the caber good again and such
