- This server is Attribute Randomizer, where each of your weapon stats are randomized at the start of each life. Sometimes this gives basic stuff like more damage or firing speed, but other times you get shotguns that launch clusters of grenades instead of bullets. Overall, this mod is a lot of fun, and worth checking out if you're into community modes!

Honestly, a mode that's a cross between classic randomizer and those weapon generators I used to look at is something I've been hoping for for a while. I'm glad that Greater Red Panda servers finally implemented something like this!

I'll be honest, I did get a pomson minigun on the convoy map and just fired it at the wall for several minutes to see if it would do anything.

Knowing the game mode, a spy with 100% explosion resistance is possible now
as a spy main, and also that heavy with the rocket minigun, I will say that it's entirely possible. never underestimate the power of the Frenchmann.

funnily enough, it kinda was. the rockets still only do bullet damage on a direct, so splash damage beyond close range is minimal, and at close range, you do insane self-damage.

Weapon randomizers in TF2 have always seemed like a strange case to me.
I fins them super fun. From the random loadouts for classes to even just random stats, it makes the already casual and silly game even more casual and silly, as when you get killed it's more likely you find it funny to see what stupid weapon the enemy had than get upset about an op weapon

I thought of the idea before, the “set fire on hit” attribute would have to have a limited range or else whatever class that has such a weapon would be too sniper-y.

the closer you are, the longer the fire works
the farther the quicker it goes out
encouraging to not camp and actually try pushing for best damage
and again along with the pistol people would probably be running sun on a stick so you wanna be close to utilise the pistol for fire on hit and then the soas to hit for damage
I've only been able to get on this server a grand total of one time and during my playtime my Sniper's SMG loaded like the Beggar's Bazooka and unleashed a stream of flares everywhere.

The pistol that heals teammates actually sounds like a great weapon contest. You just become the fastest Medic on the field - and perhaps in addition, damaging enemies can heal you, too.

i had completely forgotten about the obby rewards at the end lmaoo, those paths were pretty cool, as well as all the other 'custom' made gears back then
That flamethrower was like a wounding flamer I got in fo4. It did like 25 bleed dmg per hit and could shred deathclaws (the strongest non boss enemy in fallout) in like 3 seconds.
As someone that experienced old Roblox seeing blue explain what obbies were brought a tear to my eye, is it joy or sadness? I am unsure.

This reminds me how much I want to see Valve add a flamethrower that also inflicts bleed on top of fire. Maybe call it the "blood boiler" or something.
This video has made me discover a weapon i desperately want to see; a minigun for the heavy called the Meditank. It heals both teammates and enemies for 5 hp each hit that lands. It also makes the heavy slightly faster in general(on wearer?) and revving/firing slows the heavy down less.
Yes, it heals both; that's the main drawback in my eyes, the fact that you can heal your opponent by mistake.
In my eyes, it gives heavy a new playstyle as a faux medic while still leaving a damage option in his secondary. You could make it some sort of healing shotgun instead, but i think id prefer the minigun slot doing this.
But hey, i dont play TF2 often, nor am I good at it. I wouldn't know balance if it was placed on my head, so maybe yall would have some better ideas for a healer heavy weapon?
I feel like stats that change what the weapon shoots should have a lower probability than other stats.

I will never forget how overpowered sniper rifles were in underground war. Just poke the end of the gun out from behind a wall and fire sideways down the tunnel. I singlehandedly locked down servers with that

speaking of classic,a dev said a update is dropping soon 5 days ago ,might recommed keeping and eye,specially in custom weapons server,as this update ads a bunch of atributes to custom weapons devs to play with
now imagine this, but with an ACTUAL randomizer + 10x weapons
with the paths in the roblox games, a lot of games attempted to fix it by making the blocks client side. but that was still a problem in some of the games, mainly the cart ride games as the colision on the carts would be handled client side for whoever was in it.

I just realised that this reminds me of borderlands. Like discovering what some weapons do for the first time and being in shock
just finished playing on the server was having fun with a small group of people. Eventually the map changed to upward and it went downhill so many people joined and people typing rtd... was fun for a bit when we were playing weird maps with their own gamemodes combined with the wackiness of attribute randomizer.
Sniper is always the winning move, its the infinite range instakill class.
