This performance is part of the unique Claude Nobs Foundation audio-visual collection, included since 2013 in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register. From Aretha Franklin or Miles Davis to David Bowie or Prince, more than 5’000 concerts have been recorded LIVE both in audio and video since the creation of the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1967 by Claude Nobs.

The Montreux Jazz Festival takes place for two weeks every summer in Switzerland, drawing 250,000 music lovers to the shores of Lake Geneva. Since 1967, the Festival has celebrated all genres of music and generated countless legendary performances. Artists who have graced the stage of Montreux include Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, Prince, Bob Dylan, Lauryn Hill, Kendrick Lamar, Leonard Cohen, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Nina Simone and many more.

Indeed I am - a Plandemic Fuck Up thing, but my God has provided - natural cider :-) Keep off the top shelf - that is liver killing stuff that probably did for George! An old Biker mate killed himself over a woman leaving his bike running in a closed garage :-( The final song at his funeral was Bad to the Bone - it upset some of his family who didn't know how much he loved George!

@@antonyj5239 I remember writing this comment on the night I turned 30. It was actually in the Netherlands where I lived for one year. Quite a lonely time in my life. I'm now no longer alone, and haven't been for a few years after returning home. The music is still good and I still enjoy alone time now and then. With a drink and my thoughts.

I watched George And the Destroyers open for... I have know idea BECAUSE THEY KICKED SO MUCH ASS THAT THEY OUT PERFORMED THE MAIN EVENT!! I’ll never forget that night - neither will the rest of the audience- they rocked it so hard they brought the house down!! - just AMAZING live!!
John Thorogood is so passionate about his music. That's what makes him so great. Plus it doesn't hurt that he has a great voice!
I finally get to hear him play Aug. 10 St. Charles Mo. It's John Fogert's concert and George is the guest. I'm only going because he's playing. Can't wait!

My father & I live 100 miles away from one another. So we meet at a bar about 1/2 way in between. We always have a few shots of
"Old Grandad" in honor of my grandfather aka his Dad now passed away. A very successful offshore Tuna, Shark, & Swordfishing Capt. He used New London, CT and Niantic ,CT to dock his 38 ft Bertram and head to offshore waters. South of Long Island. People say he was "Capt. Quint" in the 1st Jaws movie. I miss that man. He`s worth more than a few shots a few times a year. I miss you Grampa Capt. Ted . He was an Amazing Man.
