The doobies, E.C. , Allman bros,The CDB, MOLLY HACHETT, the Outlaws, the Michael Stanley band, Donnie iris, and then the biguns, Stones, the WHO, Pink Floyd.(2) The Dead, Bruce ( a few times) and a bunch of others. I'm 72 and lived long enough to talk about it. Also, HEART, Mellencamp. Boston, Mitch Ryder, . Biggest, Bruce. No doubt Best, Toss up, Pink Floyd or believe it or n not, G.T. and the double Ds. Top that list, lightweights, also Sabbath, B.O.C. , Alice. Nazareth. EFFN cat stevens (girl friend). Mahongny rush, mountain, NRPS, poco, the Marshall Tucker band. Brownsville station.

I was at this concert in the ninth row. It was awesome! My ears rang for weeks afterwards. We stuck around the stage door when the show was over and not only got a glad-hand from George but hung out with John Lee Hooker and Willie Dixon for a while just sitting in chairs on the sidewalk while they regaled us with tales from the Old Days on a warm summer night. Needless to say, it is still one of the best moments of my life. And we never even asked for an autograph.....

There are new groups out there, but it's not popular in the mainstream so you have to seek it out unfortunately. With that said, rock and blues music will never die, just go underground like it is now, until it gets popular again. Gen Z are bringing back grunge music in the underground now too. Happy search guys, and keep dancing!

The first time I saw George was in 1979 or 80 at the Harvard Square Theater.
It was his second show of the night. We literally had front row seats in this modest sized cool of theater.
It was August and hot as balls. I don't know if the theater didn't have A/C or it was broken but George just sweated his ass of and blew the freaking doors off the place for two freaking hours and it was just amazing!!!
I was a year or two out of high school. I've seen hundreds of great shows with great rock and boys artists and I can only think of a few shows as good as that one was and don't think I can say I've seen one better!!
All my love to my best buddies Gus and Gary who enjoyed this melt down and thousands of hours of listening to fabulous music together!!

And electronics are destroying civilization as we know it.

It's original not sampled. It's soul inspiring talent attained through extraordinary dedication not marketing and auto tone. It was delivered to us, unwittingly by some, by a very select few that fought a war against rejection, criticism, and humility that today's instantaneous gratifiers cannot fathom. Otherwise stated. The following generation would not be able to create anything original because any criticism along the way would prompt them to form yet another protected group of PC babies that would curl up in the fetal position and suckle at the teat of victimisom.

NO reserves and no crap and no fking wars we were the kids of the late seventies that just loved having fun without any preconceived thoughts of the bloody fking status quo MATRIX affecting us. Brian Johnson why be a douchebag? Are you truly that unhappy with yourself and life that you find it necessary to sit there and pitifully attempt to tear random people down?

Best show I have ever seen. George at Cardi's in Houston. No big venue, just a small intimate stage, and he rocked it!!!!!

My husband passed in Dec. 2021 I was home alone and my daughter called me and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was having a drink and she said without me and alone so I had to play George I drink alone and it led to this. My husband loved him so much.❤

This is it. Been wandering through RUclips looking for the best live hd video of this tune. Elvin Bishop takes this song to a whole different level, one of the great Bluesmen going way back. He’s still out there at 82yo rocking the blues.
