This is a great video for my 01 Acura CL 3.2! I’m throwing p0304/p0306 Car has 150,000 miles. I bought it at 140,000 I changed the plugs(they were original) Coils, fuel filter/sock. Still get the codes. Runs lean. Looking to replace fuel injectors next. This video is the best for 3.2. Thanks!
Hey thanks for the great video!! The only suggestion I have is, to cover the exposed area's like the fuel injector holes and the piston ring area ETC ETC… With a small rag or shop towel... That way if you drop something, it wont get lost in Never never land lol.. You got lucky that you got the clip out with your Magnet trick.. Also btw & fyi they sell a retractable magnetic stick at all Auto part stores for a few bucks (WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT) And they have different sizes and some have a led light at the end so you can see in dark area's ;-) Ok thanks for your video bro and ill be doing the injectors all 6 on my 2006 Mdx this weekend!!
Just a little tip. Put some tape or stuff some rags or whatever into the intake ports. You happen to drop a crew or something in there and one of the valves happens to be open it, you may be tearing off the head to get it out. I only know because I’ve done it. Out of the hundreds of engines I’ve done and always blocked it off....I forgot just once and that was all she wrote.
@@rickc3229 thanx for your reply I got the job done 👍. It wasn’t easy , since it’s my first time DIY . The hardest part was getting those stubborn grommets out .
My primary reason was an intermittent difficulty in starting up the engine and concerns about performance due to high mileage. My problem turned out to be the fuel pump. However the benefits were improved gas mileage, improved power and peace of mind that I don't have to worry about the injectors for another decade.
Follow up SOS Anyone replace just one fuel injector tied to error P304 specific to cylinder 4 and after new plug and coil Only Acura injector or alternate supplier source ??? SOS
Don’t you need to do the other side as-well with replacing the injector, just one side ?😅 hopefully I can do mines without any problems, yours seems so simple lol
11:54 5/16 socket .. saving for later don’t mind me
Very good , clear view and understanding on your job. Will do it on my mdx2003

Hello. Any success?
Great job. I have used this. Almost done. Didn't have everything I needed at first.
Oh yeah. Definitely trying this now. I look forward to driving the car afterwards when I mess up putting it back together.

How did it turn out ? How long it took you brother ?
Bro where did you find all the brand new parts for that engine??
What were the symptoms to make you do the injectors just curious

Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
What did you use to clean the area where the fuel injectors sit? Also thanks for sharing the video.
Carbonator spray cleaner and a rag.
After replacing the injectors do I need to reprogram the ecm ? Or anything else. I have the same car as yours.
No, you do not need to reprogram the ECM. Nothing else to be done.

HELP! What is this rubber hose at 3:38 called??? The one that is attached right under the blue/white sensor???
My injectors are SEIZED in there VERY bad can I grip them and yank out are they flimsy
Where did you purchase the injector?
Did you do anything special to prevent fuel from leaking out of the rail or the injector when you removed it?
I did not. I expected that not much would drain out. Was not a concern to me. I just had a rag ready to soak any fuel.
Thank you
Does this work on 01 Mdx?
Thank you very much for you great details video
out of curiosity, why did you replace them? were there any symptoms?
