Everyone is talking about how Jimmy's power was perfect for getting kills, but it was also perfect for keeping him alive, which is arguably more valuable.
Thats probably why he got it so he wouldn’t die before the finale for once.

The powers were intentional in episode 7, but randomized in episode 8.
A few of them were given to specific people in episode 7 (Cleo, BigB, Grian, and Bdubs, I think) but most were random
The fact that there was a faction called “the Gs” and Grian was in DIRECT opposition to them is so funny
What’s even funnier is that Grian is commonly associated with the sun, a star, and so Grian can be said to be part of a team STAR

I think if Jimmy had tried to use his powers destructively, he would've gotten the Tango treatment. So maybe sticking to peekaboo was worth it since he made it to the final.

Nah Tango was only hunted because he was light green. We saw Impulse use his power and get many kills and he wasn't targeted for it, and Cleo wasn't targeted despite getting a ton of kills with her power (I count zombie kills as an extension of her power)
If jimmy makes it to another finale for the life series, ill have two nickels
If we count real life, he technically has made it to the finale twice

Yes! I'm thankful for that, too! My children watch these, and I don't want them thinking from viewers' overreactions that there's anything explicitly wrong when people are using normal language. I get really tired of people twisting words into trying to make them sound dirty.
@ like in Joel’s hermitcraft video he said “bdubs mom finished him off” when doing the ravager rush. He definitely didn’t mean it to be dirty but people jumped so fast on it. I know there are intentional ones especially from scar but for the most part it’s the audience.

Oh, yeah, I think I saw Ghost before, but it's very different from the other Gs which have 2 syllables.

@carimeslockdownedtree2654 I don't watch Impulse videos sadly so I don't think I got it from there, though Ghost is very cool (you could attribute the different structure to BigB being very *does seesaw hand motion* about the alliance, which would be cool)
Re-reading the comment I replied on, I believe someone on Tumblr said that BigB was Guilt trip. Whether that fits his character is something I can't comment on since I don't tend to watch him, but him weasling his way back into the Gs after making a plan for betrayal does give him at least 1 point for that name

Fun fact (from the imp and skizz podcast with grian): The superpowers were a very late addition. Some were made for specific people, but some were also given out randomly. Mumbo and Skizz were already dead when development started, so there weren't any superpowers made for them

Don't do that. Grian has stated before that the life series is his brainchild and if you give him ideas, he won't do them. If there had been a chance of him using that concept before you told him, now that chance is non-existent. Don't do that, please. You mean well but it won't end well.

Evo SMP reference. Martyn's got a whole lore thing going on for the Life series (only for him) based on the Watchers from Evolution SMP where he and a bunch of others (including Grian, the creator of it) played in. If you're curious, I'd suggest watching his Last Life series and maybe the lore streams he's got in his VODs channel. Watching actual Evo is fully optional but I had a fun time too.
