So I just went on to RUclips and saw that you were doing an Air Canada review from MEX/YYZ. I was excited cause you are over in N America! Anyway, I started watching and the whole thing is a disaster. But I’m looking at you, you never took your mask off, and I’m thinking to myself “Gee, Josh has gained a bit of weight. Oh and why has he dyed his hair dark brown?” It was so weird. So I continued to watch cause I like you and then I just happen to glance at whose YT page this is and it says Trendy Trek, or something like that! I laughed so hard because I was thinking that something really got to you and made you eat too much, even though I just watched the Baghdad one earlier today. Anyway, I’m glad you’re still you! 😂

Ahhh Iraq. Been working out there for about 9 years or so in Basrah. Humor I find is the best way to navigate through life there. I have big hope in my heart for her people, there are some great people there. Keep breaking down misconceptions as you do, great job Josh :)

I’m originally Iraqi (born and raised in Australia) and Iraqi Airways was my one of first flights as a child, starting off my passion for aviation. That sick bag would actually be a great souvenir! Especially considering I won’t be flying again with them anytime soon with the pandemic as I’m halfway across the world at the moment 😅 I hope you enjoyed Baghdad as much as I did as a kid, wish to go back sometime ✌🏼
That must have been a huge adjustment for your parents(Iraq to Australia).I lived in Vic and SA for a couple years,but was born and raised in the west.So,it was no big change for me.
@@kevincarlson4562 It sure was! We’re in Sydney, they’re very grateful they get to call Australia home but they do miss Iraq a lot. The war there destroyed many things and tore families apart unfortunately.
@@abdullahnaji8960 I'm from Los Angeles so Aus wasn't such a huge change.Indeed,spent a few days in Sydney and it vaguely reminded me of L.A.It sucks about those wars over there.I've heard Baghdad is an amazing city and Iraq has such a rich history.I'm clueless about politics,yet I still sometimes wish we Americans had stayed out and minded our own business.I dunno,it's all so complex.
Never thought Baghdad would be so interesting. I guess it's the same as the first time I arrived in Qatar. was surprised it's kinda different from what I pictured before...

It’s 6:40 am right now and I’m awake because my cat decided that it was time for me to wake up and feed him so of course I had to watch Josh fly to Baghdad. It’s also my moms birthday so I’m gonna make sure to call her before I go back to sleep since I have to work this afternoon. ☺️

Happy 100th country visited! So glad that it was a memorable one for you. I'm almost halfway there, and would have been at 49 and 50 last year. Unfortunately things are bad here with another wave of the virus that shall not be spoken. Residents from my country are banned from traveling to many countries. At the moment I can't even leave my province within my own country to travel for leisure purposes. Gyms are closed. Restaurants only do deliveries or takeaways (no sit ins). Hope we get out of this so I can finally complete my 49th and 50th, and celebrate like you did. At a time I can't travel, I am so grateful for this upload.

You actually enjoyed all that laughing??? No. It is obvious that Josh had already a preconceived notion about Iraqi Airways as being a lousy airline belonging to a lousy war-torn Arab country and so his review started with a sarcastic attitude from the start. If I were an Iraqi I would have been rather offended by all that sarcasm. As a commentator has already mentioned below, it is one thing to crack a joke or two as you go along and quite another to laugh at everything from the very beginning to the end. I believe this review was very unprofessional and should be very offensive to many Iraqis. One can do one's review and mention all the negative aspects of an airline honestly while being respectful of the sensitivity of the viewers who may have a connection with that airline in some way.
