Actually Junk was really solid, I don't get why people thought it wasn't very good.
MaroonThief The thing is that it doesn't live up to Hurry Up we're dreaming which is by many considered to be their best album. Junk is decent but it just isn't the style of Music that actually made M83 that popular.
They want to be experimental and I respect that.
MaroonThief i liked some songs like Go!, Laser gun, Do it, try it, and Road Blaster. But it needed a 2nd or 3rd listening in order for me to like it. The others were boring. Whereas I loved a lot of the songs in HUWD. First time I heard Reunion, Midnight City, Claudia Lewis, etc I got hooked.

I heard this song twice this week on SiriusXMU. I can’t believe I had forgotten about it since I had loved it so much when it first came out and even saw them perform it live. Life happens and so much has happened since 2016 (new job, loss of parents, marriage). Hearing it again is like reuniting with an old friend. Glad my husband likes this song too since we have both been playing it on repeat.
this was an incredible song. though my favorite part of this album is Walkway blues, I still had a wonderful time listening tough this album while painting.

Solitude is the best! Try the live version in the 2023 Fantasy Tour (Kaela on vocals and A great gilmourian guitar solo by Anthony).

the Beatles and George Martin realized it's better to end a song 10 seconds too soon than 10 seconds too late. They left you wanting more, rather than wishing it was over already.

Dunno if it’s my headphones, but I actually thought the bass was too heavy. Drowned out the top end. Barely heard the guitar for most of it. That said you don’t really here much of that until the finale.

I've no idea who any of these artists are, and I really don't give a fuck. The vocalist kicks ass here as well as on the original recording, And dude who is playing guitar - (I'm assuming he is the brains behind the band. Don't ask, I just know. This guy and I - we're cut from the same cloth) - the tune kicks ass. And I grew up listening to Kansas and Pink Floyd. I do NOT make this comment leisure. Again - THE TUNE KICKS ASS.
Addendum: the Chubaka guy was funny as shit, for whatever reason.
