I just looked at one of these yesterday the trigger was unbelievable on the one I looked at no pre, or over travel it was as clean as my Black Mamba trigger. It was priced $499.00 I think I will go back today and buy it.
Recently picked one of these up. Very fun rifle to shoot. My son is 2 months old and will be shooting it throughout his childhood (he won’t start until he is 4 years old). I like how the rifle can grow with the child/user.
Yesterday I picked up my Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle. Today I took it to the range. On paper at 25 yards tighten it up until it was blowing out the bulls eye moved to the 50 yard and zero it there. Really enjoy your channel. Low key, informative, honest and straight forward. As someone who'd like to get back into shooting paper, after years and years of not enjoying the sport, your videos are extremely helpful and unintimidating. Thanks mate.
Hey Plinkster, I've been following your videos for a few years now and have watched this video a few times over the years to see if a Ruger Precision Rimfire was what I really wanted. This past week I finally pulled the trigger and got one and am super glad I did. I put a Vector Sentinel X 10-40x50 scope on it and some Vortex rings. With CCI Standard Velocity Target and CCI Blazer it was putting them in very tight clover leaf pattern. When I loaded up some Lapua Center X, it was almost like one hole at 50; no joke. When I was done playing around getting it set up, I was shooting ground squirrels between 75 and 143 yards with American Eagle high velocity red box. I actually ranged them with a range finder. Nothing has been added to this rifle other than an optic and no suppressor; just straight out of the box. It is a keeper for sure.
Picked one up a few weeks ago in OD green and have shot it quite a bit. First, it's an absolute joy to shoot, and the OD green is beautiful! I adjusted the trigger down to around 2 lbs and it's very crisp! Have around 300-400 rds through it so far with zero issues. Where this rifle really shines is its adjustability. I just got back from a weekend out in the wilderness with kids from 8 yrs old and adults. The stock adjustability made it possible for kids to cheek up and feel comfortable shooting using the scope. That alone was worth every cent. We were also able to free hand hit 2" steel targets out to 30 yards all day long. The RPR has easily become one of my favorite guns to shot, bar none! Throw some Aguila Colibri down range and make your buds think it's internally suppressed! Lol
I love to watch your videos because they are: (1) informative, (2) cover the meat and potatoes of the subject, (3) they are well organised, (4) move right along and, (5) are just plain fun to watch with your infectious enthusiasm! Well done!
Took mine out again today, 50 Degrees, no wind. Tried 4 types of ammo, 50 yards. All grouped well, but the Lapua Center X was the best. All groups with Center X had all holes touching. For $399, it works for me.
Just bought this gun today. I've been looking for a while at it. Found I was getting quarter inch groups at 35 yards. What a great gun! The one I have is 22 mag instead. Can't complain at all about the accuracy.
I love mine. It is my favorite out of all my guns. Simply for the reason it is soooo fun to shoot. Cheap ammo amazing accuracy what more could you ask for. I use eley force and man is this riffle accurate. I went threw 2000 rounds the first week I got it. Just a all around great gun.
I watched this video back in January 2020 and headed down to my local shop to see if they had one. I already had an RPR in .308 with a Burris XTR II 5-25x50 and was looking for something to use as a less expensive trainer. They had one on the rack for $370. It came home with me that day. I ordered a Burris Fullfield E1 in 4.5-14x42, but the parallax on that scope only comes in to 50 yards, making a KYL (rimfire .25"-2") virtually impossible to hit at 25 yards. I wound up putting a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 on it and couldn't be happier. Not only is this rifle an absolute blast to shoot, it has also improved my shooting on the .308 as well. I have been able to consistently shoot single-hole 5-shot groups at 25-30 yards, and run the KYL target. Thanks for a great review!
I've had couple 10/22's, and it's amazing how accurate they are out of the box. Then...your imagination is the limit for mods. I picked up an old MK1 pistol about a month ago. It is sooo much fun to shoot, and unbelievably accurate for a 5 1/2" barrel. I think I'm gonna step up and get a rifle now, and this is definitely a good option. Right now my target rifle is center-fire, 6mm ARC and it's more like a 300 to 500 yard shooter. I want to get a rim-fire rifle and shoot 100-200 yards with it. I definitely like Ruger patterning this rifle to AR-15 design. will be checking that out. Thanks Plinkster !! Another excellent video!
Great review! I'd love to see this rifle in the .17 WSM! I mean, it is the world's fastest rimfire and more suited to longer ranges so it makes perfect sense! Hope Ruger is paying attention! There's not many rifles available in that caliber so they'd be hitting a home run.
They won't make it in 17wsm. If they make magnum rimfire variants, they will just stick to the usual 17hmr and 22wmr. This is ruger we're talking about, they always play it safe.
dang it, I just ordered a Savage Mark 2 with a Boyd stock and now found this video. Man the sound with suppressor is beautiful, I cant wait to get mine out of jail.
I bought this a few months ago-in 17 HMR I love this gun - absolutely one of my favs if not my favorite of all- this is very very cool and super accurate
I always enjoy your down to earth videos with real commentary that I find useful and to the point, and this one is no exception. Thanks for another enjoyable show!
I have a 10/22 carbine heavily modified and just bought this rifle for 50 yard silhouette shooting. I have a Crossfire G2 6-24 50mm can’t wait to transfer that scope to the new Ruger.
Thanks Plinkster ! I have been shooting my ruger american rimfire for the past year and a half and have fallen in love with bolt guns and throwing little pebbles at long range. My rimfire will hold a 3 1/2 to 4 inch group at a 100 yards. But now we have stepped into the world of match grade ammo ! And ammo seek says the gold match ammo is 9 cents a round. Now we have crossed the line on reloading. I can load 9 mm for 8 cents a round with making my projectiles. After shooting 1200 plus round a month I am ready to move up in cal and distance. So with all that said were do you stop with 22's and were do you move on. The cost of shooting is a game changer. And I am not a collector I am a shooter.
I bought the Ruger 556/223 last year. (I was supposed to build one but..) I did some changes to BCG, grip and heat shield key-mold hand guard . I have shot everything from the cheapest metal casing to reloaded metal and brass. It has yet to fail. Big Ruger fan, and I have a 10/22 breakdown with about the same scope.
IMPRESSIVE shooting! This is a heavy rifle! (Compared to other .22 cal rifles) I guess the weight contributes to its precision. I can see WHY of all the padding and stands. With the proper scope, it can be a very precise rifle.
Enjoyed your video. I am a left-handed shooter. I prefer 22 long. I have a Savage 6a from the late 30’s that was bought by my father in Sask. prior to the war. I am enjoying using this rifle at my range here in Canada. I am always looking for a better rifle. I will check this one out.
I have a savage model 10 stealth 6.5 and it’s awesome and I really enjoy reloading and tinkering trying to get that optimal load out. But definitely pick one of these Rugers up. My good friend and I both have them and in a way they are more fun and way cheaper to shoot than the creedmoor. Highly recommend. Plus it’s hard to find a range near me to even let the 6.5 stretch it’s legs. With this you only need a few hundred yards of range.
Got one on order with a Tasco 10-40x50 scope. Might get it in a couple of months (none in Australia yet). Hanging out to test it at 100 (our normal rimfire comp) and 200 yards! (be nice to beat the centerfire guys with a .22)
This is the review I've been waiting for. My concern is that Ruger made a new receiver, stock and foreguard, then slapped on it the same old target barrel that's on the Ruger 10/22 Target rifle. At 50 yards, the accuracy looks good, but since Ruger seems to think this is worth shooting at 200 yards (the 30moa rail) I'd like to see what kind of long range accuracy it's really capable of.
Would like to see this rifle compared to 10/22 Target Model or the new Ruger Custom Shop Competition 10/22. Curious to see if the bolt is that much more accurate then auto at 50 and 100 yds. With the same target or match grade Ammo.
Have this rifle in 22lr and love it. Even my Canadian wife who up until recently wasn't a "shooter" was killing golf balls at 150 yards. I like the rifle so much I plan on getting one in .17hmr and .308 Edit- got a RPR in 6.5 creedmoor that is a great shooter.
This rifle was designed as a trainer for the centerfire Ruger Precision Rifle and as a rifle package option for shooters that want to join the precision rimfire matches that are becoming very popular as of late, hence why it has all the bells and whistles needed for that style of competition. For the street price of $399-$450 is an outstanding value and price point for an American made product. The "standard" accuracy for a good rimfire rifle is 1/2" @ 50 yards, so this rifle can do what any other CZ can do with quality ammunition. The choice between a CZ or the Ruger Precision Rimfire would come down to what purpose the rifle would serve for a specific shooter. Personally I am a bolt action Savage rimfire shooter and have tried plenty of rimfire rifles including CZs and 10/22's and I would consider the Ruger Precision and the CZ rifles depending on the application.
MrHdlopez but this rifle has a hot rod stock and trigger and still is only shooting competitive while using match ammo that any bone stock CZ455 I've ever shot, or even the CZ 512 auto loader can do. I've seen Savages shoot better as well, not to mention Anschutz or the fabled Bsa, or older Winchester and Remington match rifles. The RPR shoots better than average no doubt, but it ain't a match rifle. This rifle is more so for the tacticool crowd that wants every bolt gun to be in a chassis system. It is basically an American Rimfire in a better stock with a few minor tweaks. Even the Ruger precision centerfire isn't anything special in the accuracy department. In a value of accuracy per dollar consideration, count me solidly in the CZ and Savage rimfire fan camp.
MrHdlopez of the local variety it is typically a few guys shooting Anschutz, occasionally a Cz or Savage laying waste to everyone else. I'm not sure which targets you are referring to, but we do a variety here. Ranging from a normal target, to the common target of a sheet of dots, to the shoot til you miss at progressively smaller targets. But maybe you are talking about something different? Our matches are usually called rimfire benchrest and not "precision" specifically. In either regard, this rifle will be regularly outclassed (assuming equal shooters) by most every Anschutz, most CZs, and a good portion of Savages. God help whoever buys this Ruger if they shoot against something like a Cooper rifle.
Ashley Weeks yes they are different matches. I am familiar with the benchrest matches you are talking about. We can talk a bit about it tomorrow after I return home.
Just FYI, you shouldn’t measure groups from the end of the ruler. You should start with the 1st long dash as that’s where the 1st inch actually starts being measured.
He's measuring from the edge of the hole which is how competition measures. If the center of the bullet is in the 9 ring but the hole breaks the edge of the 10 ring it's scored as a 10.
I took my bolt with a Dremel tool with a polishing pad and it slicked right up for me wonderful rifle put a DNZ mount with a Nikon prostaff rimfire mlock bipod and soon to come a folding monopod for the rear love this with the miniteman suppressor from freedom armory.
I just saw a infomercial for a Ruger rim fire rifle ....... And I LIKED it. Ruger, SMART. Move, because you were smart enough to introduce you new product line through 22Plinkster I will probably purchasing one very soon.
Gary Helms It wasn't an infomercial.... good grief. They have NEVER paid me a dime. Yes, they send me things to review. I can't afford to buy every gun I review. Why is it that if myself, Hickok, Sootch, Eric, Tim, or anyone else, give a positive review on a product, they are immediately called a shill, sellout, or a paid spokesman?
Gary Helms Btw, I'm not mad at you for saying what you said. I just hear this ALL THE TIME, and it de-credits who I am and what I say. Sorry, I've had a bad last 24 hours, and you were just caught up in my venting.
22plinkster, my comment was meant to be a Positive post and in NO way did I mean it to be despairing to you. I really APPRECIATE what you do. I was just trying to say because of your REVIEW I have become interested in this rifle. I have nothing but respect for your talents and you save me a lot of wasted time by posting your reviews. My apologies. I watch only a select few youtube channels and I know that there are people who constantly give negative feed back and I would never intentionally do that.
In bench rest matches such as the Super Shoot and most other precision rifle matches group size is measured "center to center". This is done using calipers. First you measure from the extreme outside edges of the group then subtracting 1 bullet diameter. Example: outer edge to outer edge measures .750. Now subtract .223 (for .22lr)(.224 for ctr fire) Your group size is .527. Using a 30 cal. in this example would be: .750 - .308 resulting in a center to center group size of .442.
For long range shooting with a .22lr I suggest looking at Aguila Super Extra Plated ammo. Very consistent, reliable, Ely primed ammo, and the bullet has the highest ballistic coefficient of any .22 boxed ammo I have seen, with a G1 .197 coefficient. Beyond 300 yards it is moving faster than a Velocitor - even though the Velocitor starts out with an extra 200 fps muzzle velocity. The Aguila has a maximum range of 2760 yards - which is 1 mile plus 1000 yards.
My shooting and channel don't come close to yours, but it's good to see that even big channels like yours receives all the same petty comments. Not that I am glad that you get them.
Glad I bought mine when I did. I got mine from Sportsmans Warehouse, Dec 2018, during a Christmas sale for $365. I've never seen it that low anywhere ever again.
Love mine. Two range trips so far. On a day with no wind, got .145 inch groups at 50 yards with Federal Match. Today, windy as hell, and tried 100 yards. Best ammo was Federal Ultra Match and got .71 inch groups. Fine rifle.
Conveniently measured to make the groups look small lol. That rulers end is at least 1/8 in past where the measurements start, all them groups where about 1/4 in bigger the he said from center to center.
I always thought it was from outer edge of bullet impact to OUTER edge of bullet impact. My Dads group you could cover with a dime at 100 yds with 7mm-08 hand loads, my brother was close also. Covered with a nickle. Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that was military specs. My Dad was sharp shooter in the Army. I'm not sure if it was called sharp shooter, but something like that. I can't remember. He is 82 years old now. A real man I have the most respect for.
Hey 22Plinkster! I enjoyed your video. Savage came out with a new rifle last year and I was hoping you would review it for us. It is called the savage b17 in .17hmr. Thanks so much!
Looks nice. I think the groups will clean up with a good break in and some good ammo selection. I'd look at some eley or wolf match extra as well. But either way, it looks like an awfully nice rifle.
I have a Tac-Sol barreled 10/22 that shoots very similar to this rifle but was looking for a bolt gun for my Elite Iron suppressor and chose the Ruger Precision Rimfire. It shot right at 36 MOA right out of the box....yes, 18" groups at 50 yards. Sent it back to Ruger and they said it had a bad crown, so they recrowned it. That helped a bit, it was now a 12 MOA rifle, 6" @ 50 yrds, sent it back again and they said the barrel was bad, rebarrelled and now it is a 6 MOA rifle...this was last spring, it hasn't left the safe since and I won't peddle it to some one else and pass the problem on. Guess I just have to eat it and keep using the 10/22 even though it is not as quiet. Still looking for a bolt gun that will shoot like every other person one the planet has.....
What do you think of this vs the Savage B22 precision ? I have a few Rugers and a few Savages and I'm generally happy with all of them. Thinking about the B22 or B17 precision next. My buddy says the CZ 457 is better. Thoughts ?
I would love to see you do a review with this rifle and different “hunting” rounds or rounds that would be used for varmints such as velocitors or CCI supersonic segmenting bullets or other brands of ammo that is hyper velocity. I know you’re sponsored by CCI but I would love to see that! Thanks and great video. I just got my Ruger Precision Rimfire in 22 lr but it’s main purpose is a pest control rifle not competition.
Probably need a barrel designed for the hyper velocity rounds. I was excited by the Stinger rounds when they came out but found they were not inparticular useful. My favorite hunting round is the standard velocity. Subsonic has less crack and better accuracy. I hunt mostly rabbits for my supper and it makes them very dead.
yokoshemp since I’ve posted this comment I have switched almost primarily to subsonic rounds and have been really pleased with this choice. The accuracy is amazing. Yes, a little more hold over but I just got to know my gun and it’s deadly out to 100 yards consistently on gophers.
Well I enjoyed the review, I watched it to see how well the gun shot and not to critique ruler etiquette, I did not notice whether the trees were moving in the wind or not, I did however notice the target moving in the breeze, and so it went on, it just sounded like a lot of bitterness in the comments for some reason! I found it to be a good review with a very conscientious and enthusiastic young lad, well done plinkster. Come on chaps, if you cannot say something nice don't bother, and if all you got from that review was the fact he used aplastic ruler incorrectly you are watching the wrong types of videos!
I just did ammo test with mine and got a best 5 shot groups...3 group avg of .413 with fed gold medal match. Ultramatch gave .523. Worst was 1.456 with rem thunderbolt. All at 50 yds. I have an Athlon Argos BTR 6x24 scope mounted on it.
22plinkster: Thank you for the entertaining and informative video. I was on the fence about which small caliber rifle to buy next and, after watching this, I went ahead and purchased one myself. Quick question: what bench rest are you using there? I’ve always just gone prone or once in a while in a modified supported position using vehicles or other cover, but I’ve been thinking about buying a portable bench rest and am leaning toward the Caldwell lite version. Any insight about your preference would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
I went to dicks (of all places) and scored this for 198$ because of a price mismatch, they made me take a long fucking stroll to get this, but worth it!

I have a 10/22 carbine heavily modified and just bought this rifle for 50 yard silhouette shooting. I have a Crossfire G2 6-24 50mm can’t wait to transfer that scope to the new Ruger.
I just bought one of these. Great price for what it is. I paid 400 in Alaska.
it cost me 700 euros in france lmao
couldn't find it new for any cheaper
That would be a nice addition to My collection of fine Ruger firearms
I bought the Ruger 556/223 last year. (I was supposed to build one but..) I did some changes to BCG, grip and heat shield key-mold hand guard . I have shot everything from the cheapest metal casing to reloaded metal and brass. It has yet to fail. Big Ruger fan, and I have a 10/22 breakdown with about the same scope.
IMPRESSIVE shooting! This is a heavy rifle! (Compared to other .22 cal rifles)
I guess the weight contributes to its precision. I can see WHY of all the padding and stands.
With the proper scope, it can be a very precise rifle.
I own this Ruger currently and it is a great rifle, lots of fun, cheap to shoot. Thanks for a great review.
its loud ?
Wow. Ruger thought of everything !! Pretty sweet. Thank you for the review !!
Enjoyed your video. I am a left-handed shooter. I prefer 22 long. I have a Savage 6a from the late 30’s that was bought by my father in Sask. prior to the war. I am enjoying using this rifle at my range here in Canada. I am always looking for a better rifle. I will check this one out.
was going for a 6.5 creedmoor, yeah, i know don't have 1 yet, but may go for this ruger first now!!! great video
Finally picked one up today for my son for his 11th birthday. He’s going to be so happy. Thanks again for the great review.
About to do the same for my son's 11th! Cheers!
Just saw your post on Facebook. I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. Sounds like she passed a whole lot down.
Thank you. Yes, she was the best. Being on here takes my mind off of things.
22plinkster what sight would you recommend for this particular rifle that won’t break the back but still give you a great experience? Thanks
22plinkster question what would be a good set of rings for this rifle I have a vortex 6-24x50 I’m putting on it?
Thank you for listening to us 22plinkster!
Got one on order with a Tasco 10-40x50 scope. Might get it in a couple of months (none in Australia yet). Hanging out to test it at 100 (our normal rimfire comp) and 200 yards! (be nice to beat the centerfire guys with a .22)
Thank you for the opportunity to discover this rifle in more depth; I ha officially decided that i want one
Olde Dominion it does look like 10/22 target barrel+ American rimfire receiver
Would like to see this rifle compared to 10/22 Target Model or the new Ruger Custom Shop Competition 10/22. Curious to see if the bolt is that much more accurate then auto at 50 and 100 yds. With the same target or match grade Ammo.
Happy birthday. Sorry about your Granny passing away. Thanks for the video during this hard time.
Have this rifle in 22lr and love it. Even my Canadian wife who up until recently wasn't a "shooter" was killing golf balls at 150 yards. I like the rifle so much I plan on getting one in .17hmr and .308
Edit- got a RPR in 6.5 creedmoor that is a great shooter.
Keep your hard earned money.
@@UHK-Reaper Wealthy you))
This rifle was designed as a trainer for the centerfire Ruger Precision Rifle and as a rifle package option for shooters that want to join the precision rimfire matches that are becoming very popular as of late, hence why it has all the bells and whistles needed for that style of competition.
Ashley Weeks are you familiar with what a precision rimfire match entails?
Love watching videos on rifles I have on layaway lol. My rifle is home with me now and is very addictive. Great review
real good video, and good show of accuracy. thanks therfore.
Sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better! I’m excited for this review!
Just FYI, you shouldn’t measure groups from the end of the ruler. You should start with the 1st long dash as that’s where the 1st inch actually starts being measured.
Ross Brock - I think he's from Tennessee give him a break. ;)
He's measuring from the edge of the hole which is how competition measures. If the center of the bullet is in the 9 ring but the hole breaks the edge of the 10 ring it's scored as a 10.
I took my bolt with a Dremel tool with a polishing pad and it slicked right up for me wonderful rifle put a DNZ mount with a Nikon prostaff rimfire mlock bipod and soon to come a folding monopod for the rear love this with the miniteman suppressor from freedom armory.
what prostaff reticle did you get I just bought a ruger precision and was looking at the 4-12*40 bdc 150
@@evanshatzer7647 that's the one I used great clear glass works as stated in the manual.
@@jarrettmoore6237 what kind of groupings did you get with that setup
@@evanshatzer7647 shot 5 separate 5 shot groups @ 50yrds all were in the x ring around 1/4in groups wish I could post a pic of the target.
Sweet precision 22LR. I love that whole series of Rugers.
I took my extractor off and bent it slightly made a big difference on the ejection.
Held one in my local shop
Dry fired it once, great trigger and balance
Might pick one up in a few months if I hear more about it
Ruger has been hitting a lot of home-runs recently!
Have a great vortex scope, love all about all!!! Great rifle, got mine for 350
In bench rest matches such as the Super Shoot and most other precision rifle matches group size is measured "center to center".
Thats definitely the best 22lr for the price
My shooting and channel don't come close to yours, but it's good to see that even big channels like yours receives all the same petty comments. Not that I am glad that you get them.
Its easy to be haughty on youtube comments. Because they type while sitting on their porcelain thrones
Your mom's petty. Hahah
Tom's petty...
I have the RPR in 6.5CM, going to get this to practice with, cheap ammo, loads of fun.
If they offered this in 17HMR I’d be all over it. Awesome review. Thanks for sharing!
Or 17WSM
They do
They do.....as well as in a 22 Mag.
@@kennytroyer3366 They didn't at the time this video was made :)
One Shot they have one now
Just ordered one and it’s coming in Thursday can’t wait to try it out
If you sight your gun in 1" high you can shoot groups without blowing out your bullseye and losing your aiming point.
Glad I bought mine when I did. I got mine from Sportsmans Warehouse, Dec 2018, during a Christmas sale for $365. I've never seen it that low anywhere ever again.
Damn fine rifle. Looking to get the .22 Mag version.
I cant wait! I'm getting this rifle today in my nearest range for 450 and I already bought the case and lock for this pretty looking rifle.
Thanks for another great video. Still supplying content even with all the sadness that has just befallen you and your family
Thank you. It has been a tough 24 hours for sure.
Love mine. Two range trips so far. On a day with no wind, got .145 inch groups at 50 yards with Federal Match. Today, windy as hell, and tried 100 yards. Best ammo was Federal Ultra Match and got .71 inch groups. Fine rifle.
Windy, 100yrds, and a 22lr and you're claiming .71 inch groups. Lol fuck off
Swipes..obviously, you are a child with not only no shooting skills, but no upbringing either
wish ruger would reintroduce the 10/22 in the 22 magnum again
Yea that would be awesome. If they start to make these in 22mag Im just giving them my wallet
they used to but hard to find used ones anymore
@@TXMike1055 they do make these in 22 mag
Razor 1022 is a ruger clone in different calibers
I wish it was good, but 10/22’s in 22 mag are pieces of shit.
I just picked mine up and have the SWFA SS 10X42M on it that I took off of my 10/22. Loving that rifle.
That first shot in the intro made me LOL my blow-back BB gun is louder 😂
Looking to buy my son his first .22 rifle. This is the one he likes. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Thank you for your time to do it.
You got me with that intro. I was like wow, he hit a target 50 feet away lol. Good video!
Good to see she shoots nice. I went pick up a savage or another 10/22 and we decided to go with one of these instead
Will someone tell me where I can get the cleaning mat with all of the different cartridges on it like at 5:52?
I’d love this in 17 WSM, only because I’m falling in love with the 17 WSM, even though I’ve never fired it.
Hey 22Plinkster! I enjoyed your video. Savage came out with a new rifle last year and I was hoping you would review it for us. It is called the savage b17 in .17hmr. Thanks so much!
22 plinkster is a god and you will not change my mind
Looks nice. I think the groups will clean up with a good break in and some good ammo selection. I'd look at some eley or wolf match extra as well. But either way, it looks like an awfully nice rifle.
Watched this video last night, went and bought one today. It's a nice rifle
out of the box!
I want this rifle in .17WSM !!
Jerry McDow .......that would be one fine tool for just about any type of shooting.....it would breath new life into that amazing round.
It’s there today now let’s pray for the .17WSM
A CZ457 is your answer and the fix to your problem. Thank me later.
@@D70340 I'll just thank you now LOL, picked one up about a year ago and it is a great shooting little rifle. Thanks.
Ruger is on fire!
InSight Freedom they're going to have a great year
Alaskan Ballistics I agree. Wish I had more $$$ to help them out more.
InSight Freedom. I want the 9mm pcc
me too Alaskan Ballistics, nobody has them around me yet, but i will have one.
ruger sucks
I love going to my outdoor range with my $200.00 Marlin .22 XT and the Ruger guys are there.
What do you think of this vs the Savage B22 precision ? I have a few Rugers and a few Savages and I'm generally happy with all of them. Thinking about the B22 or B17 precision next. My buddy says the CZ 457 is better. Thoughts ?
Hey man I used to work at cci speer years ago in idaho and i remember when u came for a tour.
Love how that Bipod is on backwards at 1:00!! Thanks for the review.
Incredible rifle
Well I enjoyed the review, I watched it to see how well the gun shot and not to critique ruler etiquette, I did not notice whether the trees were moving in the wind or not, I did however notice the target moving in the breeze, and so it went on, it just sounded like a lot of bitterness in the comments for some reason! I found it to be a good review with a very conscientious and enthusiastic young lad, well done plinkster. Come on chaps, if you cannot say something nice don't bother, and if all you got from that review was the fact he used aplastic ruler incorrectly you are watching the wrong types of videos!
Screen cut with the shot and the ring. Dope!
I wonder how you always get a good shooting rifle every time you do a review. I think it you get hand selected Rifles
Great review looks like Ruger has a winner one more to add to my collection.
I just bought this model today for $379 new - in a retail store. Haven't fired it yet. I need to a scope mounted and maybe a bi-pod
I went to dicks (of all places) and scored this for 198$ because of a price mismatch, they made me take a long fucking stroll to get this, but worth it!
