Here, too. I've been dressing to my own drummer for 64 years because there are some trends that just aren't comfortable or attractive on me. I'll stick to what works for me. And being an artist, I'm addicted to all this marvelous print & color mixing! Could be Beth will be the next Iris Apfel! ♥

She always picks up pieces that I would never pay attention to but they end up being so cute😭 makes me wonder what I’m missing when I shop
I just LOVE that Dolce and Gabanna inspired shirt. I am a huge fan of that beautiful pattern mixing. I have been sewing a lot more since the lockdown and the past few years have been drawn to refashioning thrifted finds. The floral dress from the first store that looked like a two piece would be so fun to rework......I just loved that print. Can't wait to see how you style all your looks from this thrift episode up.....I just love seeing each piece combined into amazing looks. I have no place to wear your over the top looks but like to put together more casual toned down versions. I love the inspiration you provide and enjoy how you talk through how things can be styled.
I’ve been doing the same for the past few years - many things have such amazing material but just need different buttons or a small change (compared to the polyester everything new & affordable is now made out of, it seems).
I audibly gasped looking at the last floral blouse...drool.Can I ask the brand?I appreciate you incorporating your process of elimination...

This is one of my absolute fave videos that you do Beth! Loved it, and love the characters you created for the trends. You still found lots of amazing spring pieces! You have totally inspired me to do the same. Over here in the UK our shops don't open till 12th April but in the meantime I am getting ready by curating the trends I like, and I might even make some boards too! I am using my own wardrobe and then buying second hand pieces on eBay, depop and vinted to curate my own Spring trends rail! Thank you so much for the inspo! I totally gasped at the bright coloured polo, so fun I love it! Agree with you on the matronly florist dress that it could look very fabulous just styled the right way. Also loved that green polka dot dress, but I totally get why you didn’t get it - it’s so true there are those things that we love when we see but they just don’t hit right when we actually wear them. CAN’T WAIT for the styling video of the spring trend pieces you got!!

I am blown away by your finds! I have yet to find a thrift store in my area that is loaded with vintage like this Salvation Army. Those red pants, are you kidding me!? You have totally inspired me to start wearing color. I have been deep in neutrals for so many years and I feel like a new woman in all the happy colors I've been starting to wear!

Those colors just make me so thirsty. I thought the green polka dot dress would have worked because you buy long shapeless dresses and putting a belt to it might have on it or wearing as a tunic (oh well it gone now). That orange is truly popping. I can not wait to see them in your styling process. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Great video! I always carry a Tide stain stick with me when I thrift. It has saved me from purchasing items with stains I can't get out so many times!

I passed on that sweater vest and pinstriped jeans at that salvation. Haha. I loved the color of the sweater vest but the imperfections bothered me. And my daughter convinced me I didn’t need another pair of vintage pin stripe jeans!!
Beth can you recommend any thrifts stores between Orange county and Oceanside? I need a little road trip north... I’m in Encinitas. One or two good ones....

I'll never get the reasoning behind picking colors according to the seasons, it lowkey irritates me lol. Why not just wear all colors all year round??? Orange, red and brown is not fall, it could be the color of flowers and soil for example.
