After being a long time away from bikes and now just turned 70 I fell in love with the look of this bike and had to have one, didn’t even test ride it just went for it and not been disappointed. A lovely ride for fun around country lanes, doing 60 miles to the gallon and quick enough to do overtakes safely. What’s the point of anything bigger or powerful on these roads where there’s a speed camera around every corner, the days of getting your knee down are truly over. I would recommend this bike to anyone who just wants to ride for fun.
Perfectly put. I've "hung up my knee sliders" too after 40 years of riding. The T100 captures the spirit of riding I found all those years ago. I'd forgotten that feeling along the way somehow 😁👍
I traded "down" to a Triumph Street Twin (same engine) from a Harley with like twice the stated numbers in all specs. The Triumph is a much much better fit for me. Im enjoying it and RIDING it a LOT more.
Good to see you again chaps. I have a ‘18 T100Black. I took it to Scotland 🏴 in July with two mates who were riding a RnineT scrambler and an Indian FTR. My “little” 900cc Bonnie performed magnificently up against these two on various Scottish roads. I had to work the 4th and 5th gears quite regularly but that was all part of the fun. A tremendous bike and much more fun in the twisties than a cruiser styled bike with forward controls.

Hello!.....Appreciate you guys and your reviews. Purchased a RE Classic 350 about a year ago after having been off the mc stuff for about 10 years. But already looking to bump back up and considering the T100. Thanks for all you do.
I bought a secondhand 2018 version at 2/3 the price with only 1,500 miles on it. Comes with a few nice mods, x-pipe + crash bars + etc, too. I’m soooo happy with it. Feels so good to ride and get compliments all the time.
Another great review from your unique, no-nonsense and entertaining channel. Good stuff. At the ripe old age of 64 I got myself the T100 Goldline version in June 2022 and I’m absolutely loving it. My decision was in no small part down to your in-depth straight talking review ( as always) leading to a test ride. So thank you fellas. Happy to have bought you a few coffees on your sponsoring link 👍 You asked for feedback on the T100. I’m 5’10” and around 19 stone. (179cm, 129kg). Your assessment of its fine agile handling on all kinds of roads, more than adequate single Bramble brake on front disc and low-end torque characteristics were right on the money. I’ve owned the excellent Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE so have been used to the higher power and the sixth gear on tap but found the T100 a much better (‘compliant’) fit for mostly leisurely riding I do and also including when necessary, stretches of motorway (highway) and 70mph dual carriageways where I easily keep up with traffic with more than enough power to spare when needs be. I had the small fly screen fitted which helps counter the wind buffering a bit but keep in mind this is a naked bike. I could only tip-toe on the XE which on a a few occasions led to some spills on severe road cambers when coming to a stop, whilst I easily flat foot on my T100. Ok, the spills maybe were through lack of experience but that was my reality (risk) of having a very high seat height bike (870mm) and I feel so much more confident on my T100 in urban and rural areas. I’ve found the T100 to be so much fun around the twisties and hilly terrain, with very confident handling. The factory fitted tyres are absolutely fine and perform very well in the wet too. Urban riding is a doddle with its low-end torque (second gear takes you at ease between 15/20 and 40/45mph), its relatively low seat height (31 inch, 770mm) and low centre of gravity. It still weighs a fair bit though (205 kg dry, 235kg wet) but I see that as helping stability at higher speeds and windy conditions. A question you may be pondering as I did….do you go for the T120 or T100? Check out this channel for the T120 review. My advice is the best way to find out is test ride both for the kind of riding you will do, the roads you’ll be mostly running and your body size. I would probably opt for the T120 if most of your riding will be long touring trips, using 70mph roads a fair bit where that sixth gear and twin Brambles on the front discs will be the only advantage over the T100. Triumph have made a brilliant engineering job with stunning retro classic looks on both models. Keep up the great work on the channel fellas. Safe riding.
Much appreciated Neil ; thanks ever so much 🙏 I find that on steep side hills it’s best to lean up when stopping and put the highest foot down to avoid a fall. Enjoy the bike 👍🏼👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Thank you for your reply and guidance and as I said I was happy to chip in some ‘coffee’ money your way as I see others do to help keep developing and expand followers of your great independent channel. As regards your advice in avoiding spills when coming to a stop, I think I understand what you are explaining. I appreciate that your channel is geared to reviewing bikes but it would be great if you could perhaps do a short video demonstrating the best techniques for dealing with seriously adverse road cambers (cross-falls) at junctions or just merely when needing to come to a stop? I’ve listened to a few experienced bike riders who have different approaches and I’ve not come across tutorials on RUclips adequately covering the issue. If you were to do such a demo video I’m pretty sure like me, many ‘newbies’ who are not so tall as you two would appreciate that. It would also bring a new dimension/variety to your channel as regards developing bike skills based from both of your obvious long biking experience. No worries if not….it was just an idea!
Thanks for this great video guys ! I'm taking the A2 exam soon (in France), and thanks to your review I am now definetely convinced it'll be my first bike.
I'd suggest test riding both back-to-back if you can. Most Triumph dealers understand this quandary and will be happy to help. We tried both and the T100 was easily "enough". But you need to make the right decision for yourself. Good luck 👍😁
I saw the channel post about selling the bike and thought, damn I could do with a video from these two. Then a few minutes later this shows up. You guys definitely have a great way of reviewing bikes and just creating videos that draws people like myself in. Creating a good following of people all with a love for riding. (All we need is to all band together and get the law changed for bike licensing😁)
Y'all have the coolest areas to live. Wide open spaces. So cool compared to the city life. I have a 2005 t100. Perfect for workin on and rides just fine for a 68 year old man. Thanks guys.
Great review of a good looking bike. I do like the two tone tank and with knee pads…..makes sense. Very classic looking with them silencers. Keep up the good work
I like your videos, straight to the point with no frills or bullsh*t. 👍 I test rode one if these before buying a Street Scrambler, mainly because I preferred the riding position on the SS but the engine is basically the same and is an absolute peach! You're right about the upside down fork fad, totally unnecessary on many bikes from a handling point of view IMO. The design concept of upside down forks was the lower unsprung weight they offer, important on a cutting edge sports bike but hardly necessary on a bike like this and they'd look out of place anyway. The "perfect" Classic Triumph for me would be a 1200 version of the Street Scrambler unlike the current 1200 Scrambler which is a great bike in it's own way but a completely different mount.
Another great video. Love the look of the Bonnie's but can't help thinking that it's a shame they're all made overseas as in fact all main stream production bikes in the Triumph range are. Went on a tour of the factory a couple of years ago and they were still producing some models at Hinckley at that point. Somehow it doesn't seem quite right.
Great review! One problem I’ve had on these bikes just sitting on them in the showroom is getting my boot under the shifter. Just not enough space if you wear sturdy boots. Was this an issue on this bike?
The first thing I do with a new bike is to adjust the shifter and rear brake lever - usually by only one spline. Easy to do. The rear brake lever felt too low for me and needed too much ankle rotation. Again, easy to adjust but bear in mind you'll also have to adjust the brake light switch 👍
Great review and presentation guys. Just came back from doing the NC500, did 2600mls in 12 days. Sooo comfortable with a triumph king and Queen seat, dropped the foot pegs with Tec items, sorted!!!
I have a 2022 T100 and absolutely love it, wouldn't have it any other way. Put on some British Customs, Predator Pro Shorty's and it's absolutely glorious now!
Scenery is amazing ! I had a new T-100 and loved it however I traded it back in for a new Speedmaster, which I love more. My opinion the Speedmaster is the best Bonneville as the old man thinks 👍. I have many years riding under my belt which was a factor. Speedmaster more comfortable, I ride more relaxed. I think the T-100 is for a younger rider 😎 Great Channel guys !
I have a T100 now and have a Speedmaster coming on Monday, so obviously I couldn't agree more! Love the T100. The SM is even better and a nicer/easier ride for my old bones.
Oh man, the size is perfect, was gonna trade my Street Twin for a new T100 (especially given the extra horse power and the new paint scheme) unfortunately Triumph decided to sell the thing for 12k EUROs (Thats almost double the Street Twin), which completely became unjustifiable (considering it has the same engine as the Street Twin), so I ended up buying a Yamaha XV950 Racer instead (it was my preffered bike anyway and performs just as well hehe) still very nice review! the T100 is an awesome bike, hope to ride it some day just for fun!
Great info/ entertainment as always. Different icon face, same old subscriber. ( utbe didn't like my little icon picture...maybe it was the machine gun? ✌
Absolute classically beautiful motorcycle. Reminds me of my Dads original Tiger Cub. Triumph have done a stirling job of keeping the amazing looks and uprating everything else. Currently loving my Harley 48 too much, but I do foresee a Triumph twin in my life at some point! Great review even with the odd mad sheep.
Nice looking bike. I completely agree with you about how everyone is obsessed about upsidedown forks and, it dont look good on every bike. I prefer the normal right way round forks on a bike.
Got me one of these in July 2021 and love it! Previous bikes have all been a lot more performance based but I feel less and less able to fully exploit them. I did try the T120 which is an exceptional bike, but I found myself feeling unable to really make the most of it's additional performance, The T120 is also slower to steer due probably to the twin F.Disc setup? The T100 with standard peashooters sounds great in my opinion. I won't be getting the decat, loud pipes etc. But might treat it to a belly pan and Rad guard :-). Ooh and fork gaiters - it needs fork gaiters.
Great review and I am looking to buy one; an odd question but, what is the total width from the outside of the left exhaust to the outside of the right exhaust? Side entrance to my house is fairly tight. Thanks
Thanks for this. the T-100 is high on my list as I ponder returning to riding after my recent retirement. Tell us - do you think this bike is suitable for occasional riding on dirt roads, (not trail or off road). I live in an area in the the US (Vermont) that looks a lot like the country shown in your videos with the addition of trees! I am looking for something that I can ride on dirt roads from time to time. Slow, as you say: "burbling along". I honestly would like to avoid the high pipe scrambler models for this sort of riding.
Simple and straight forward review and beautifully presented. Appreciate if someone could share what was the helmet used during the review. Not sure if there is any review on Triumph T100 Gold Line.
Thanks very much. The helmet was a Premier Trophy www.premier.it/en/vintage-collection/ My favourite helmet! Hopefully we will be reviewing the Gold Lines soon
Great reviews as always. Really torn between this bike and the street twin. Just got my license. The new ec1 street twin looks pretty sick. I’m going to really have to test ride them both. But if you were 5’10. What would be your preference between the two.
We do too! Yes I think so. You can get luggage accessories for it and then you’re good to go. Of course it depends on what sort of touring you’re doing but it’s definitely the bike to be on for exploring around
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Thank you so much for your reply. I currently ride a Guzzi V7 III Stone, and I like it, but the T100 looks very appealing :). Thanks again, and keep up the great work.
It CAN do Touring, but if you want a bike primarly for touring I'd honestly look at the T120 or Scrambler 1200 as those have 6th gear while the T100 is limited to 5. Those are just from the Bonneville line up of Triumph bikes, they also have bikes like the Tiger or the Rocket 3 as Touring bikes. The T100 CAN do touring on Highways but it won't be very fuel efficient in the long run, the T100 (or any of the 900cc Bonnevilles) is more primarly for town riding or country roads.
@@SavioureG unless you're in NZ where most of our main highways are like country roads. The t100 would be perfect, currently on a RE Interceptor and that does it easy with probably a similar vibe.
@@julianperry5141 Very Nice, I personally preffer the Continental GT as I'm a sucker for Cafe racers but Intercept is pretty sexy as well. I used to own a Street Twin (of which the T100's engine took from) and it handles the highway quite well, can cruise at 130 kmh without a sweat, but it DOES struggle when going past 140kmh, I'd imagine its the same for the RE?
I have just part ex’d my RnineT scrambler for a SpeedTwin. It’s much more my kind of bike. Smooth as silk gearbox and pulls like a train. I couldn’t get on with the clunky boxer engine. The speedy now sits alongside my T100. Two similar bikes yes but different rides.
I had the same dilemma and went for the T120 here in Ottawa. A big difference for me was not just the extra power, but also the 6th gear for lower rev cruising. A centre stand was also nice. Standard heated grips on my 2019 model were also an incentive. The latest ones have swapped that out for cruise control I noticed. Good luck!
@@randolphmank4289 I’m more of a city rider so I figured the t100 would be enough but considering the better performance, brakes and other extras you get with the t120, I think I’d have to go t120 👍🏼
great video guys. which one would you prefer for longer journeys with sozia? the T110 or T120? would the single disc brake do also a good job with 2 riders and luggage?
With a combined weight of 22 st, our T100 is fine for us. The suspension copes with travel to spare but the performance might be dented a little if you load it much more. The T120 has exactly the same chassis and suspension components but the extra oomph and additional disc might be welcome if you do a lot of touring. The bench seat is also identical and one of the reasons we chose the T100 over the Street Twin was the additional seat length for riding two-up.
Been out today to do a little test re. 5th gear at 70mph. At 70 the motor is spinning over at 3500rpm (in top). Given that maximum torque for this engine is produced at 3750rpm it's actually geared perfectly to be in the sweet spot at 70. Yes, it sounds a little busy but at 2500rpm below the red line it loves it. And I suspect returns excellent fuel economy at that constant speed. I can't testify to this because I don't travel on motorways or A roads very often. But even two-up with mixed riding we get 70+ mpg 👍
This is one of those bikes that people often discard just by the sheer numbers. Yep it doesn´t have all the power but it´s really enough in the real world. Any plans of doing the Kawasaki 900rs? Also a beauty of a bike in the classic vain although with a bit more bite. Keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks for the excellent review. These are beautifuĺl to look at at and beautifull to ride but the main wiring harnesses is rubbish and can give you grief! I have a 2019 black which has been at the bike shop for 3 weeks now waiting on a replacement wiring loom. The looms are to short and eventually the wireing gets damaged with the movement of the handle bars. I still love the bike tho.
Thanks for that. The 2021 > bikes have a number of improvements. They didn't mention the wiring harness (they wouldn't 😉) but we've had no issues with ours. Hope yours is sorted now. I presume they replaced your harness with the later type?
The difference in weight is not an issue when you've had a bit more experience. If you're relatively new to big bikes the Harley might be a bit less manageable pushing it around or with low speed manoeuvring?
If you’re a fan of the Triumph Scrambler, read Forgotten Road by Randall Arthur. The whole last half of the book highlights the Scrambler with numerous on-road adventures. The book is a work of fiction, but supposedly the adventures in the book are all based on Arthur’s real-life experiences.
Had the Speed Twin demonstrator out whilst my T100 was being serviced. Wow! Was my initial impression. I loved it. If you want "sports bike" performance with a classic style I'd certainly recommend it. It was nice to have a go and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Speed Twin. Enough performance and handling to satisfy anyone who likes the style of the Bonneville. I was happy to give it back though and continue on my sweet sedate way - but I'm old and rather risk-averse these days.
We looked at the 650 Interceptor too. It's such great value - It's been said that it's £1500 too cheap! For us though, the premium for the T100 was worth it and we needed the extra oomph as we ride two-up 90% of the time. The black engine cases on the Triumph make it a bit more durable too. The RE's bare alloy will take some looking after?
I have a Triumph Bonneville Street Cup and a RE Interceptor 650. Both are great bikes but the Triumph was £3k more than the RE and, although it has a bit more performance, it’s overall quality is not massively better. I’ve had the Bonnie for four years and the RE for two and, so far, I’ve had no reliability or corrosion issues on either bike. The RE was recalled a few months back to rectify a brake calliper corrosion issue identified on some bikes but my bike’s callipers were fine. Like all bikes, you just have to keep them clean.
@@gerardmontgomery280 Yeah, it says they are too busy selling them out! No coincidence it is also the UK's best selling motorcycle for last year. Stuart Fillingham and Missinden Flyer have both managed to get them reviewed, though...and Stuart owns both the RE and the Bonnie so he makes great comparisons too. Just scoot over to his channel instead.
Man that bike sounds great! And looks just beautiful. If Triumph had a bigger presence here where I live I could really see getting on one of these! Unfortunately there isn’t a Triumph dealer within 100 miles or more of me.
I think we started to be a bit obsessed with a power and the numbers nowadays. And what's more we've got speed cameras on every corner so in reality 50HP is enough for everything and you can still loose your driving licence with that power ;) But of course it's nice to break some law occasionally :D
I'm just a bit over 5'-10", so I would fit on either the T100 or the Street Twin. I can't decide whether I want a T100 with the Street Twin's upswept exhaust pipes, or a Street Twin with the T100's spoked wheels. With either one, I am going to need to replace the mirrors with bar-ends and install a small fly screen to keep the bugs off the instruments. The Street Twin is a little cheaper and comes with road/rain riding modes, but only one clock. In either case, I'm loving that 2022 blue color.
This will be my next bike! It's like the engineers read my mind what I want my bike to look like! haha I need a modern upgrade from my beloved 69 Honda CL450 Scrambler
As a tall rider myself I’m interested that you thought this bike was a good fit but the speed twin was a little too small, I’d be interested to hear how the two compare for the taller rider
Apart from a leaky valve cover from new which took them two attempts to cure (eventually needed a new cover) mine's also been completely reliable. One slight criticism of all the Bonnevilles (and you can hear it on this review) is the rather noisy gear change. That said, it's always positive and finding neutral is always easy too. I did ask about this at the dealer and they said it was "characteristic" and not a fault on my particular bike. That's probably fair, as every Bonneville I've tested is the same.
Great review and lovely countryside, where is that? I ride a Honda CB500F and am pretty happy with it but I'm thinking of trading up next year. The Street Twin and this T100 are two models that I'm looking at. How would you say the two models differ, please, and do you think either of these bikes would make a sensible step up from my current bike. I'd like to put some pannier bags on and head off touring around the country camping and fishing. Thanks.
Thanks buddy. It’s north Wales near Llangollen. Both bikes are awesome and very similar to ride. I’d say it’s down to the look you prefer. You’ll get a lot more people coming up to you to talk about your bike!

Agreed 👍. Same shocks on both. The rear shocks lack damping a bit, adding a notch of preload helped. It does get a little wallowy if you push on. The cure for me was just to slow down a bit 😉

Much appreciated Neil ; thanks ever so much 🙏
I find that on steep side hills it’s best to lean up when stopping and put the highest foot down to avoid a fall.
@@neilrobinson9193 ok bro that’s a great idea 🙏
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Great. Good man 👍 Really looking forward to watching it.
Thanks for this great video guys ! I'm taking the A2 exam soon (in France), and thanks to your review I am now definetely convinced it'll be my first bike.
Awesome! It’s a brilliant bike! You’ll love it. It will be fine restricted to A2 requirements as well 💯
Contemplating beteween T120 and T100. Your insight? Really like your reviews
Go for the T120 if you want more power; go for the T100 if you don’t want to ride it like you stole it 😏
I'd suggest test riding both back-to-back if you can.
Thanks buddy! Yes agreed (but we have no faith that this gov will do anything
Bought one in 2008. Great fun to ride and customize. Sadly the first few years had corrosion issues with fasteners, wheel hubs and spokes. Sold it on.
Ok that’s a shame. Pretty sure it’s sorted now 👍🏼
Y'all have the coolest areas to live. Wide open spaces. So cool compared to the city life. I have a 2005 t100. Perfect for workin on and rides just fine for a 68 year old man. Thanks guys.
Thanks buddy. Yes we like the countryside! And the T100! 👍🏼👍🏼
Great review of a good looking bike. I do like the two tone tank and with knee pads…..makes sense. Very classic looking with them silencers.
Keep up the good work
Thanks buddy. Yes agreed 👍🏼👍🏼
Very good review, loved it. And you made me love the Bonneville T100 even more!
Thanks buddy! It’s a lovely motorcycle indeed 💯
Thanks very much! Great to hear your views 💯
That motorbike looks suited to the landscape, classic beauty 👌 another fantastic review guys 👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely! Thanks buddy 👍🏼
It seems to be the way these days
Great review! One problem I’ve had on these bikes just sitting on them in the showroom is getting my boot under the shifter. Just not enough space if you wear sturdy boots. Was this an issue on this bike?
Thanks! Not a problem we found but it’s very easy to adjust. I had it on my Honda Enduro and did it in 5 minutes 👍🏼
Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼 That sounds great 👍🏼
Nice job guys. Less can be more. Classic and timeless.
Thanks buddy. Yes indeed 💯
Thanks buddy. We’re getting a long term loan of a Speedmaster! Can’t wait
I have a T100 now and have a Speedmaster coming on Monday, so obviously I couldn't agree more! Love the T100. The SM is even better and a nicer/easier ride for my old bones.
Awesome 💯
which would you pick and why between the T100 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor?
The Interceptor for riding position, handling and character
I think you might be better off with the Triumph do to it's power. All RE's are gutless.
@@MrDarcy-OlMan re is cheap how
Great review! Actually getting my license because I saw the T-100 (and fell in love with it).

That's a shame. Great bike though!
Great info/ entertainment as always. Different icon face, same old subscriber. ( utbe didn't like my little icon picture...maybe it was the machine gun? ✌
Thanks buddy, oh dear. That’ll probably be it 🤔
Great review guys, as an XSR owner (performance and price) I'm not sold but it does look beautiful and premium quality! And heritage- respect!
Yes agreed! 💯
Brilliant review lads lovely bike
Thanks mate 👍🏼
Nice looking bike. I completely agree with you about how everyone is obsessed about upsidedown forks and, it dont look good on every bike. I prefer the normal right way round forks on a bike.
Thanks! Yes indeed 👍🏼👍🏼
Great looking bike in some nice colours. The 900cc engine has plenty of go for that style of bike, good value too! Cheers.
💯👍🏼 thanks bud
Got me one of these in July 2021 and love it! Previous bikes have all been a lot more performance based but I feel less and less able to fully exploit them. I did try the T120 which is an exceptional bike, but I found myself feeling unable to really make the most of it's additional performance, The T120 is also slower to steer due probably to the twin F.Disc setup? The T100 with standard peashooters sounds great in my opinion. I won't be getting the decat, loud pipes etc. But might treat it to a belly pan and Rad guard :-). Ooh and fork gaiters - it needs fork gaiters.
Awesome! Yes there’s a lot of enjoyment and practicality to be had from a more mellow bike 👍🏼
Great review and I am looking to buy one; an odd question but, what is the total width from the outside of the left exhaust to the outside of the right exhaust? Side entrance to my house is fairly tight. Thanks
Thanks buddy. I don’t know about that; we haven’t got the bike any more
Thanks for this. the T-100 is high on my list as I ponder returning to riding after my recent retirement.
I have ridden it down a farm track with no problems 👍🏼
I like the look and feel of the T100. Triumph does a great job on their bikes.
Yes indeed 💯👍🏼
Great review! Has the electrical harness issue people have mentioned been resolved?
Thanks buddy. I don’t know anything about that tbh 👍🏼
No issues at all with our 2021 model. We'll have had it two years in June next year.

Great!! Thank you ...
I've owned 12 Hinckley Triumphs since 1996 and even my 790cc T100 was the easiest bike to ride and was very easy on your eyes.
Awesome! 💯👍🏼
Great reviews as always. Really torn between this bike and the street twin. Just got my license. The new ec1 street twin looks pretty sick. I’m going to really have to test ride them both. But if you were 5’10. What would be your preference between the two.
Thanks buddy! Both great bikes of course but in our opinion the T100 looks better, especially with the spoked wheels.
By now you've probably made your choice? Hope you're enjoying it whichever one you chose. We love our T100
Love the T100. Would you recommend it for touring?
The Bonneville is a beautiful and iconic bike.I'm particularly drawn to the speed twin, which I hope to have a go on very soon.
Indeed. They are awesome
@@jjnewman65
Ride safe.👍👍
@@travelinben1966 thanks mate. I’m 56 now so pretty careful on the beast. 👍🙏🏻👍
You two are like brothers brilliant
Maybe they are brothers 😄
Yes, excellent bike but the Guzzi V7 is a strong market contender for riding dynamics, build quality and historic badge.
I’m struggling to decide between this and the bonneville t120, in Canada the price difference is almost negligible at $2000 give or take though
Down to power really. The T120 is a bit more responsive and powerful; the T100 is a bit more relaxed
If the price difference is negligible you would probably be best to go for the T120. It's the same bike, just with more of everything 😁👍
Best review I have seen about the Bonnie T100, well done !!
Thanks buddy! Make sure you subscribe 😉
@@MrDarcy-OlMan done with pleasure :)
great video guys. which one would you prefer for longer journeys with sozia? the T110 or T120? would the single disc brake do also a good job with 2 riders and luggage?
Thanks buddy. The T120 would be the better of the two for that, but that’s not to say the T100 couldn’t.
@@PhilipBallGarry thank you for your comment - its very helpful. greetings from vienna.
But even two-up with mixed riding we get 70+ mpg 👍
im 56 yrs old and i ride a 2008 gsxr suzuki im getting to old however i love the bike, im buying a t100/120 soon as im too old now for the gsxr lol
I’m certain you’ll love it! 👍🏼👍🏼
Yes the T100 is really good! Maybe one day- Kawasaki don’t lend bikes to the likes of us so we’d have to find a dealership
You guys have the best soundcheck. Nice review.

Great video. This channel inspired me to get my bike!
Fabulous 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the excellent review. These are beautifuĺl to look at at and beautifull to ride but the main wiring harnesses is rubbish and can give you grief! I have a 2019 black which has been at the bike shop for 3 weeks now waiting on a replacement wiring loom. The looms are to short and eventually the wireing gets damaged with the movement of the handle bars. I still love the bike tho.
Thanks buddy. Oh no really that’s a shame. Perhaps that’s been sorted on the latest ones? 👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan yea i hope they have it sorted on the latest ones as they really are a superb bike otherwise.👍
Thanks for that. The 2021 > bikes have a number of improvements. They didn't mention the wiring harness (they wouldn't 😉) but we've had no issues with ours. Hope yours is sorted now. I presume they replaced your harness with the later type?
The sheep are making some funny noises in those bushes.
Where was the ol' man? lol
Haha not sure 🤔
Nice bike
I was looking at getting one
But decided to go for Honda CB1100rs
T100 still looks tempting 🙂
Another Great review.
Yes indeed. CB1100 is very nice!
For the A2 license, which bike is better, the Bonneville t100 or the Softail Standard?
I’d say the T100 because it’s easier to manoeuvre but if you need a Harley, the Softail Standard is great even in A2 tune.
Sounds great 👍🏼
Great sound recording!
Thanks buddy
My favourite Bonneville is the Speed Twin.
Cool 💯
Had the Speed Twin demonstrator out whilst my T100 was being serviced. Wow! Was my initial impression. I loved it. If you want "sports bike" performance with a classic style I'd certainly recommend it. It was nice to have a go and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Speed Twin. Enough performance and handling to satisfy anyone who likes the style of the Bonneville. I was happy to give it back though and continue on my sweet sedate way - but I'm old and rather risk-averse these days.
It's an iconic motorcycle 😍😍💓
Yes absolutely 👌🏼
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the T100 vs the 650 Enfield. Clearly the Triumph is a premium machine but is the Enfield really much of a step down?
We’re trying to get the Royal Enfield bikes. Their press fleet company haven’t responded to us for a year and a half!
@@MrDarcy-OlMan That sucks but also kind of says something about the brand. I hope you get to do a test in the future though.
That’s a shame, maybe they’ll expand where you are eventually!
I think we started to be a bit obsessed with a power and the numbers nowadays. And what's more we've got speed cameras on every corner so in reality 50HP is enough for everything and you can still loose your driving licence with that power ;) But of course it's nice to break some law occasionally :D
Yes indeed 💯👍🏼
I'm just a bit over 5'-10", so I would fit on either the T100 or the Street Twin. I can't decide whether I want a T100 with the Street Twin's upswept exhaust pipes, or a Street Twin with the T100's spoked wheels. With either one, I am going to need to replace the mirrors with bar-ends and install a small fly screen to keep the bugs off the instruments. The Street Twin is a little cheaper and comes with road/rain riding modes, but only one clock. In either case, I'm loving that 2022 blue color.
I would go for the T100 on looks. Like you say, you can change the exhaust if you want to 👍🏼
We tried both two-up. The longer seat is welcome on the T100 and would give you more room to move about?
This will be my next bike! It's like the engineers read my mind what I want my bike to look like! haha I need a modern upgrade from my beloved 69 Honda CL450 Scrambler
Excellent 💯
Very good reviews guys, subscribed 👍
Thanks buddy. Welcome aboard 👍🏼👍🏼
thats the bike Im looking for atm :D thanks guys
Great! Has it helped your decision?
As a tall rider myself I’m interested that you thought this bike was a good fit but the speed twin was a little too small, I’d be interested to hear how the two compare for the taller rider
The Speed Twin has a shorter wheelbase and steep rake and is more racy. The T100 is definitely more roomy , particularly with arm reach
The longer seat and taller stance might be welcome on the T100. We tried both two-up and found the T100 roomier 👍
Excellent review as usual and the bike is really lovely. But are Triumph bikes reliable for someone who is accostumed to japanese bikes?
Thanks buddy. That’s something we can’t ascertain in the short time we have them. From the comments we’ve had, I’d say probably not as reliable
I put 60000ks on a 2012 T100 with no issues, absolutely bulletproof,good build quality. 👍
@@christopherwhipps9474 good to know, many thanks for the feedback.
Great review!

Great review and lovely countryside, where is that? I ride a Honda CB500F and am pretty happy with it but I'm thinking of trading up next year. The Street Twin and this T100 are two models that I'm looking at.
