Historical note: The phrase with "return with your shield or on it" was a saying told to Spartan warriors before going to war. Their sheiled were heavy, so the first thing a fleeing soldiers would do was drop it to run faster. So the meaning is basically come back victorious or dead, no middle ground.

Not just a war between Sparta and Athen , it was much more than that , however there is a lot history behind it so I won’t get in to detail but that’s the basic idea , now about the phrase with the shield in Sparta mothers we’re giving the shield to their sons saying that phrase which meant that if they died the body would be transferred on the shield and if the wound was in the back that would bring shame while If it was on the front it would bring glory to the name of the family

Spartans May have been one of the strongest armies, ON LAND. Spartans never had a naval force, they would also bite their enemies in battle. Spartans were put through so much trauma that they could resist some amounts of pain. If a child in any way, shape or form disabled they would be cast away to die. When Spartan Boys turned 7 they would be taken from their homes and forced to train until they were about 18. Spartans are pretty messed up, not to mention the high amounts of sexism in Sparta. Sparta is pretty damn messed up if you really think about it.

@@arundownshack1019 Okay, if you're going to get technical, Kassandra might be what they call a Tainted One on account of her Isu DNA - but that made her, like, what, something like 12% Isu? That's a lot more than any Sage, but...Herakles would be like 50%.
@@ChrisMathers3501 Okay, I can see how I was wrong to put forth the assessment that Kassandra could beat Herakles by Isu Blood, but I could still make an argument that Kassandra could beat Herakles, because in the Torment of Hades DLC episode, Kassandra has to beat four of the most famous Greek heroes, one of which, like Herakles, is the son of Zeus. Edit: Oh yeah, and you defeat Herakles in that same DLC, too.
